Another covid-era delivery review... Ms Ohho has quickly developed into one of our favorite Korean delivery spots. No doubt about it, the food is consistently good, even delivered. I've only had delivery from here, but I've ordered many a time! I adore korean rice cakes, particularly the sweet soy version that I don't often find on menus, but Ms. Ohho has them! The rice cakes are always soft and chewy with veggies, in a lovely sweetened soy sauce sauce. Their gyoza is also good, flavorful with crispy edges. The hot stone pot bibimbap for takeout here is an art. Seriously though, when I ordered hot stone pot bibimbap for takeout, I was certain it was just a scheme to charge more for normal bibimbap. But no I was wrong - the rice actually came crisped, perfectly shaped to fit the takeout container - with a runny egg embedded in the middle, on top of which the veggies were piled. And once mixed all together, I couldn't have told you the difference between this bibimbap and one actually getting crisped by a hot stone pot. I've tried a number of their other dishes as well - the jokbal here is also a highlight. So flavorful and fatty and delicious. Unfortunately, the samgaetang was a disappointment, no real ginseng flavor, but I probably shouldn't be expecting much ginseng in a $16 dish. The soondubu here was fine - I've been trying takeout soondubu from all the Korean spots in my area and they've all been lackluster, but Ms OHHO's was probably the best of the bunch. I ordered Bibimbap and kimchi stew tonight through Ubereats and the bibimbap came without the sauce. I was so sad because I was looking forward to eating it. Like the sauce is the star of a bibimbap, how could it be missing? Anyways the kimchi stew was very good and flavorful and had loads of kimchi and pork belly. Jjajangmyun and Jampong delivery in Brooklyn?! I was super excited. I would pay for the Brooklyn premium if it was worth it, but sadly, not really so. The Tangsuyook was the worst I've had- barely any meat, lots of fried fluff- it was also VERY crunchy, like you're biting into a fried snack. Got delivery via Uber Eats for lunch. Overall it was quite pricey and not worth it imo. The hot stone bibimbap is exceptional, even as delivery, as other reviews have said. The kimchi kalguksu and jeyuk bokkum were too spicy, and not the good kind of spicy. The kalguksu also came with the noodles already in the soup so the noodles were overdone by the time they reached us. They're also store bought noodles so definitely felt overpriced for what it was. read more

I also had the jajangmyun and now I'm glad I dont have to trek all the way to ktown to get some. I wish they were closer to me cause I'd go all the time. Terrible customer service - I ordered through their app while sitting at the restaurant, received a confirmation email and then after waiting for 30 minutes without any service, I checked on my order. The staff was immediately rude to me for zero reason, claimed they never received my order even when i showed them the confirmation (on their site!), made zero effort to help me and yelled at me when I politely asked them to make the order for me. Will not be returning here and strongly recommend other people avoid this place unless you like being made to feel terrible for the restaurant making a mistake. My Korean partner wasn't feeling well and jaeyuk bokkeum is one of her favorite foods, so I decided to order her lunch from Ms Ohho. Unfortunately, the jaeyuk bokkeum at Ms Ohho isn't really a Korean dish - its more of an oily Chinese fried pork dish and even the many of the veggies used (broccoli, bell pepper, woodear mushroom) are more common in Chinese food than Korean. There was no taste of gochujang or sesame oil, which are the key ingredients of the jaeyuk bokkeum sauce. The bottom was just a pool of oil. The employee didn't come out to tell me they're running behind. I just sat there waiting for this food. Another customer came in and ordered a cappuccino. Amazing korean food! The yookgaejang and the spicy kalbitang is outstanding. The meat is so tender and the broth has a good flavor. However the fact that they charge extra for glass noodles is a little ridiculous as they are a staple ingredient for both soups. No other korean restaurant charges extra for an ingredient that's supposed to go in there. The seafood pajeon is good but the texture is very off. It's too dough-y and not crispy as it should be. I didn't try the jjajangmyun but my husband really it. Also a staple for korean food is to provide side dishes and they gave us one kimchi for 5 dishes.
