I used to take my S550 2011 Mercedes to the dealer and i always feel that when i'm getting my car serviced, I'm getting ripped off. My coworker and friend recommended that i give MSB a call and i'm so glad i did. I talk to Alex he was very friendly, was helpful and make me feel comfortable about making some decisions on fixing my ride. Dealer gave me a big list about what i need, Brakes and rotors front and rear, 4 new tires, transmission service, and 2 front shocks plus my CHECK ENGINE was on and according to them i was going to need 3 coils and spark plugs what ever that is. Alex took my Benz in and 30min later told me what work should be done right away and what can wait for a while. So he told me: 1.- Don't need all front and rear brake pads and rotor only front Pads. 2.- Don't need tires yet, still have one year of life at least. 3.- According to the mileage don't need Transmission service yet. 4.- Shocks dont leak still on good shape, don't need replaced. 5.- For the CHECK ENGINE only need one coil and spark plugs. I was so happy when he told me all that, and show me with detail exactly what i need. Thank god for finding this repair shop, MSB is not looking to make a quick buck but really establishes long term relationship with his customers, they are very knowledgeable and are a mercedes-certified mechanics. I came a cross with this place thanks to one of my friends recommendation, as far for a women is hard to trust in a mechanic shop specially because we don't know much of mechanical or technical problems in our car, shops are famous by taking advantage of it. Have my Mercedes C300 check by dealer and quote me almost 3200 to fix a check engine light on my car which is quite high for me, i decide to give a try to MSB knowing i live in San Diego. The place is decent waiting room is clean with TV and WIFI as well, you can literally see what are they doing. I spoke to Alex the mechanic and explain the situation of my mercedes and the big list of problems the dealer gave me. Alex got my car check and less than 20min he came back to me and told me the real problem of my check engine light, he show me and explain on very detail. Yup one more time!! got the best service as always do, got my service B done today by Alex the mechanic and what can i say this guys are the real deal. Love how they tell you exactly what you need and if is important at the moment, my mercedes was making a little bit of noise so once they have it there for my service i might as well ask to check the noise. they told me it was coming from the brakes and that was normal because the brake pads were getting a little bit low, so i ask if it needs to replace but they told me to wait until i get the brake light indicator to come on, and still have easy 5 more months for it.
