I have had MS Gardening service for about 7 years. He was the gardener that my property manager recommended. He was great. Very responsive to my requests. I always need to turn up the water system for my tenants to water more in the Spring. He always follows through and makes it happen. But more recently, he fixed a problem at my home with a valve. Couldn't figure out what was wrong with my Rachio automatic sprinkler problems. It wouldn't connect to the valves for I have to manually water the lawns for a while. So I called Tony. I was afraid the problem might be some expensive wiring problems or a blown unit. But Tony quickly troubleshot the problem and isolated to some wires that were touching and damaged part of my wires. He quickly cut the wires and taped them together and wow! Everything worked great again. He has a very good mind for solving problems and his price was very reasonable. Thanks Tony. Found MS Gardening on yelp as we just moved into a new construction house and have a dog so getting the backyard done was a top priority. We have about 850-900 sq ft of space that we wanted artificial grass for. Got quotes from a few other places who estimated 15-20 grand and 6-8 weeks before they could begin work and 4-6 weeks to complete the project. That was just entirely took much money and time. I contacted Tony in July, we moved into the house on August 1st, Tony came out Aug 6th, work started Aug 22, and finished Sept 4 just in time for Labor Day Weekend. Tony brought samples, made recommendations since we had a dog, and gave us a very good quote. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. We have neighbors that have been working with other landscaping companies since March on similar sized projects that are still not complete so appreciate Tony and team for quick and efficient work. Just did 4 stars instead of 5 because there was some trash around the yard that was blowing into the neighbors property so could clean up a bit better and I wish I was given more information on how to care for artificial grass with a dog but would hire them again. read more

Tony help us installing irrigation system through out the house and connect it with a timer. We highly recommend his service. First, Tony and his crew are very friendly and easy going. I talked to him several times over a few months because I can not decide what I want to be done and change work of order several times. Tony is never upset and always very friendly and gives me new quotes with another visit. Second, Tony is very honest. He told us he would re-install a irrigation valve because he forget to apply some gel in the first time. Therefore there is a small water leak that I did not even notice and he dig everything out and do it all over again to make sure it is perfect. Third, he always try to find the best solution. For example, he connects our irrigation system to timer in garage through crawl space. I know some gardeners only run the wire outside the house because it is easier. At first it did not work because some pipes in the crawl space blocked their way to our garage. Tony did not give up and went up to attic and was able to connect wire through attic to our garage. Then, my son found a second crawl space that we all forgot about! Tony thought it is better to use crawl space so they went down second crawl space and successfully finished the job. Lastly, their price is reasonable for what they have done. We feel confident to recommend MS Gardening, Tony, to any of our friends because he knows what he is doing and truly respects his work. I agree with several of the reviews that I saw here. While they do good work when they show up, they don't always show up or respond to communication. They simply go AWOL or ghost customers. As one reviewer commented, it seems they ditch some customers. Perhaps, that is based on the size of the job. Maybe, some jobs are deemed to small or they ditch when a more profitable job comes along. This demonstrates a lack of respect for customers. read more

Wish they took better care of the landscaping to keep plants looking healthy and mature by weeding, pruning, dead-heading and shaping vs taking the hedge trimmer to everything. This is definitely a company that is more "mow and go". Had to speak with the owner once to have the crew put a bit more effort in since that is what we agreed on for servoce. He is easy to work with and quick replies always. The crew did a good job the next time, but are right back to mow and go. Ok for now but really wish these companies like MS Gardening would have the crew spend a little more time making people's yards look nice. It would go a long way and be a much better service people stick with for years. If I had time I would probably look elsewhere so they are 'good enough'. When we asked Tony for help, we only expected him to control the weeds. But to our surprise, he completely revitalized out yards! He also repaired our sprayer, which has never worked ever since we got the house! Even the seller of house didn't know what work is required to restore them at the time. He cleaned up our yards, trimmed trees and installed additional irrigation lines for us. Tony is fabulous! He's been here twice in the past week in an attempt to diagnose an ongoing water leak in the area of our front yard's hose bib and irrigation system. Today, on visit #2, he hauled out a shovel, started digging, and soon discovered that our water main had a fairly big leak in it! Since this problem has been going on for more than six months and I paid a sprinkler repair guy last year who did nothing more than repair a tiny leak in the irrigation system valve and take off again, I am seriously impressed that Tony was so diligent in getting to the bottom of this water-wasting mystery! We decided to replace our dying, water-hungry grass with bark mulch, leaving some planting areas bordered by new bend-board.  In the process, we needed to reconfigure our irrigation system.  Tony was very easy to communicate with and had very well-informed suggestions for tweaking our plan in a way that would make it age well.  He got us on his calendar right away.  He and his team did all the work in a single day, and they did it expertly and with great care.  They left a very tidy work area, too.  At the end of the job, when I discovered that I had just punctured the irrigation system in a couple of places with my own pruning, they immediately fixed the punctures at no extra charge.  I highly recommend MS Gardening. read more

I've been a new customer to MS gardening, they do a good job of mowing grass and nothing else. Once every 2 weeks they come, mow the grass under 15 mins, not frequently spray on weeds, don't trim grass around sprinklers and I only saw one of his crew only prune one of my rose plants while the others needed pruning too. When tony is around they do take their time to clean the yard but I hardly see tony visiting so the crew only focuses on mowing and nothing else. I wish they spent more time focusing on other plants as well than just the grass. read more
