I have remodeled nearly a dozen homes, and Maria was an incredible standout in terms of her knowledge, followup, and her ability to zero in what I was looking for. I've met with her several times, and I've also worked with other suppliers while attempting to locate a stone for this project. She consistently followed up with me without pestering, and professionally let me know she was available; she was patient and delightful. I'm posting a 5 star plus specifically for Rita Rose. She is awesome!!! We went into this mega sized showroom and immediately became overwhelmed. They have such a vast inventory and it's really difficult for a novice to navigate around and make proper choices. They mainly cater to industry professionals. I started to become frustrated and almost walked out. Rita who was working at the desk next to us immediately jumped in. She took control of the situation and reassured us. Within 15 minutes, she helped us design the most beautiful combination of finishes we could imagine at a price we could afford. This was a very disappointing experience. Once registered I was told I could browse. I browsed and had questions, having not seen what I was looking for. Not one staff member acknowledged me. Not one even gave me eye contact. It ended up being a waste of my time. I'll go elsewhere. Plenty of stone & slab options with better customer service. read more

Excellent follow-up and service! Visited their showroom and was blown away with the size, cleanliness and the friendly people. Found what we wanted, contacted our local distributor and made the purchase. Went to pick it up and found that some of the order was back ordered, to be available in a few weeks. I called several times to check and found that they tracked the delay to a container being held at customs. Once the container was released, they called as soon as it arrived and I picked it up. They follow-up on meeting their customers requests and do it with a smile. Give them a try! read more

This place is a mess unorganized. First I came and selected the tiles I wanted and then they asked if I had an account I said no I'll buy it cash they said no you need an account to purchase from us. I said well ok. I filled out all the required documents then next thing you know they said it will be approved in 48 hours and I called 48 hours later.... they said sir we need to send it to our corporate office and will take another day called next day and they had no clue who I was. Any how 2 weeks later they finally approved my account came into the show room placed the order purchased the order they said they will be here from Orange County on Wednesday.... Wednesday came along I came here to pick them up they first couldn't find my account in the system and showed them my receipt and they said it hasn't even left from the ware house yet. I said you guys had told me it will be here today what's this. Now they said it will be here Friday. My crew was waiting for these tiles so they can Instal. These people are horrible I will never come here again. read more

Nice product selection, but I've been to this place several times and they have very poor service. There is no one to greet you when you get in, and you are forced as a customer to wander around with no help. Their good product selection and easy freeway access earns them two stars, but they get no additional stars due to their bad service - 2 stars total. read more

The materials from this supplier are top quality. They have an amazing showroom and friendly staff. I picked up the marble floor tile myself and the will call staff were super friendly and helpful. The only catch to buying material from MSI is that you need to find a retailer through which you order. It seems many home materials retailers around the area do business with MSI. This was our first visit this weekend as suggested by our kitchen granite fabricator. We were greeted by several very nice people which guided us through our initial visit sign-in process. Thereafter, cordially escorted to the right area for the products we were interested in viewing. We were asked several times by employees if we needed any additional help. Upon determining which slabs of Quartzite we had interest in viewing and wanting to place a hold in order for our contractor to purchase, we were introduced to Rita. Rita was a total rockstar.....I can't say enough....very outgoing, helpful (went out of her way to find us sequenced slabs we didn't think existed in the warehouse)....low and behold, she found it to the delight of my wife. We are very thankful for her help and providing a great shopping experience at MS. Based upon her help and that interaction, it would be a no-brainer to return again for future purchases. read more

They have a good selection but you are on your own if you don't go with your granite guy. They won't discuss anything with you. I drove all the way from Cupertino to Hayward only to get a glimpse of the granites on display and I had no clue how much they cost and what does it take to order. I was interested in buying Quartz Countertop for my kitchen remodel and went to MSI to see their selection after seeing their website. They have a large selection to chose from and found several that I liked. I was disappointed when I learned that they would not quote me a price for the stone and I would have to go through a retailer since they don't sale to the public. Pricing was one my major goals in going to MSI show room. read more

Great first visit! Our contractor sent us to MSI to select stone and tile for a master bath remodel. The showroom is beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive. Nick helped us select our porcelain tile and accompanying quartz, and provided a lot of helpful information and advice. It's a good showroom but confusing. As noted, you cannot buy from them. But they also don't sell to contractors. They only sell to stores on their list and maybe fabricators. So working with them on slabs might be easy because you have a fabricator, but working with them on tile is complicated. And they don't explain that to you. So it took my poor contractor over an hour to find a tile store on their list that he works with and to order the tile for my bathroom. And then they kept telling him that they didn't have my tile and I had to go with another color. But it is right there on the wall of samples!! Seemed unnecessarily complicated. read more

Loved the shopping experience at this location. Everyone was very helpful, but especially Rita Rose Jiminez and her team of 2 other sales associates. I didn't get their names, unfortunately. I've been to Lowe's, Home Depot, and about 5 other stone shops. MSI is a notch above. Hands down the highest and best price quality granite and marble. We felt like we were in an art gallery walking through the aisles of granite slabs. However they could have a better quartz selection. Since MSI doesn't sell directly to the public it can be a bit confusing how to buy a slab. So if you haven't been there before, then talk to an MSI employee when you first walk in and they can guide you through the steps. read more

I had a very unfortunate experience with this business. I needed to replace some stone in the middle of a project. My whole project was on hold until I found more stone. Needless to say, I was a very motivated buyer. A man name BRETT helped me, and it was possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He was so rude, unhelpful and dismissive. It was as if he wasn't in the business of selling stone. Even though they had the stone I wanted, I went to IRG in Dublin instead. The experience was 100 % better. They were incredibly helpful and nice. I hope MS International recognizes that Brett is a liability. They had some nice stone, but it is an expensive purchase and good customer service goes a long way. read more

So-so customer service when you are selecting stone, & worst customer service when trying to make a return. Rachel the sales manager is incredibly mean and demeaning when you attempt to find a solution to a purchase you are dissatisfied with. They only sell to wholesalers/stone fabricators and therefore you are not their customer even though you select the product and have to live with it indefinitely. They also don't tell you about their return policy on stone tile, nor will they allow you to see the range of tile colors, but expect you to buy after looking at 3 or 4 tiles. Be sure you are in love with whatever you select, because dealing with a return with these people is pure torture. read more

Our experience with MS International (MSI) was good. They allowed us to see a sampling of tiles in pallets in their Hayward warehouse when a tile retailer referred us to them. We were trying to match travertine tiles as closely as I could for a home repair job--not easy or possible to do. As a wholesaler, MSI has a wider selection of tiles in stock than samples displayed by most retailers. The people who helped us on different occasions pulled tiles from different palettes for us to look at. which was very helpful to us. read more

So the manager called after reading my review and profusely apologized. After some reluctance, I agreed to speak with Rita. Rita called and apologized and talked me into looking at some samples. She said she would send them to my house, along with some extra samples she thought might work for our outdoor kitchen. She promised I would receive the samples within 5 days. It's been almost a month and no samples ever arrived. Not sure what happened but this is not a business I feel comfortable using.........Another update. I got a phone call from Steve the manager today. He apologized for someone dropping the ball and not sending the samples. He said Rita would send them immediately. This afternoon my doorbell rings and Rita is at the door with my samples. This was not an easy feat, as she had to travel to Gilroy from Hayward on a Friday afternoon. Her effort was greatly appreciated and we will definitely consider Msi given their persistence in helping us. read more

Great experience at MSI. Purchased two granite slabs and a medallion for our kitchen remodel. Great service - thanks Jason and Roy! - and unbelievable selection. We picked several slab types and they laid them out so we could see them all. This is where all the other places get their stuff. We saw trucks from multiple tile and marble retailers in their yard. If you already have your fabricator picked out, avoid the retail hike and buy where everyone else buys. We will be back when we do our bathroom. read more

Pooja, Stacy, Steve and Maria are some of the representatives who i interacted with and made the experience from there on smooth and hassle free. Thank you! I did end up placing an order for a prefabricated granite with them. Though front-desk was always giving us the response that they cannot deal directly with home-owners, and dont bend the rule-book even a little, the back-end of MSI is super-efficient and works with you to cater to your needs. read more
