I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm really disappointed with how this salon handles communication. They rarely answer phone calls or respond to text messages, especially when trying to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Every time I have a question, it feels like I have to drive to the salon in person because calls are never returned. Unfortunately, this has become too time consuming and inconvenient, so I'll have to find a new salon. read more

I have been to this salon a few times, especially pre-pandemic. I know staffing had changed since then. I recently tried to call for an appointment and the lady I spoke with, "lacked customer service quality", a bit rude, and it made me feel that they were not interested accepting appointments. She kept mentioning the word " so busy", which is something unnecessary to say, as we all know schedules and appointments can be busy, most especially during the holidays. Aren't we ALL busy?? Seems like this salon is very selective with their clients. Just disappointing :( read more

Salon VI (formerly Visual Image) is under new management. You'll still find the same stylists there and some that have even returned. They've also added esthetician services such as waxing and facials. I go to Alicia for my cuts and love her! Way overdue for a cut thanks to COVID, I hopped online for an appointment and got one six weeks out. This is partly due to the backlog and partly due to the COVID guidelines, which they are taking seriously. COVID precautions currently during red tier: - 25% capacity, per county guidelines - Temperature checks - Contact tracing - Properly worn masks I always feel like a new person walking out of the salon. Got my hair done by Victoria 7 months ago and I'm so amazed at how well the blue color held up. I started with electric navy blue hair and it faded to a still vibrant teal. Went in today for a refresher and Victoria killed it as usual. She works quickly, efficiently, and always creates such beautiful results! I have been seeing Sandra D. for years now, since it was Visual Image. So happy they were able to salvage the salon so I can continue to see my fav stylist. I wanted to donate my hair so Sandra help me cut 10 inch of COVID hair! As you can see she cut it in a way that I can style either part. She pays attention to how the hair falls and she even seems to understand to cut it just so it would grow out in a stylish way. Go see Luis! Not only does he take the time to explain everything from cut, wash, treatment but is so personable and kind! I went in for a wash, cut and blow dry and he really took the time to check in with me as he was cutting my hair to make sure I felt comfortable with the length, layers, etc. He gave me a voluminous blowout and made the whole process so relaxing! Welcome to the next generation, as the old Visual Image/M Salon is under new ownership with the majority of the team still intact...thank goodness. I'd certainly argue that stylists are "essential workers" for ones self-esteem and the salon & stylists are following solid CV-19 protocols for those concerned. I've been with Pamela Kolar as my stylist/color professional longer than most marriages. She is one of the best out there and I openly refer others to her. People routinely stop me and comliment my hair and ask who/where. Pamela has kept me age-appropriate with cut and color and tells me a firm "no" when I go down a path she knows won't work. She's not a one-look stylist and keeps up to date with trends, able to service all genders and ages. Hair health is also a top concern of hers as many of the trends don't work for everyone. She truly listens to what you want to achieve and will interpret a cut/color that will work for you. There are so many different hair types out there, you need a pro that knows how to handle them all. Color is an entirely different issue. We're talking both chemistry and art. Poorly applied, color and high/low lights can ruin your hair. But the art of color and tone that goes with your skin/eyes is where Pamela truly excels. She also makes adjustments seasonally for me knowing that I'll be outside more in the summer vs winter and sunlight is different than interior lighting. Other stylists rely on Pamela to do their blending, that's how good she is! Bottom line I don't know what I'd do without her. The year of touching up with a box was tough but she was there to talk me thru it. Now I'm back to enjoying the journey when I sit in the chair and let Pamela do what she does best. read more

Luis at Salon VI may have just given me the best hair cut I've ever had! I brought a picture to Luis of the hair I wanted, knowing the model had WAY more hair than I do. Let's get real, I'm not 20 and I'm not a French model. But Luis knew exactly what to do. He asked all the right questions and never made me feel as though I couldn't achieve the look that I wanted for myself. Even if it wasn't exactly like the picture. He even suggested the right products to help me achieve a great style outside of the salon, without being pushy or making it seem like he's all about sales.
