Mucho is one of my favorite places. I can eat it for lunch, or dinner. It's been a long while since I have branched off of my favorite dish because it is always consistently good. That is just one of the reasons I love Mucho Gusto so much. I love that their food is made fresh daily, with fresh ingredients. My go to is the beef tostada, with fresh avocado added, and mango salsa. I don't frequent this location as often as the Oakway location. Both of them are on point, efficient, and I love the way the staff all work as a well oiled machine. I wish I lived closer, I would probably eat here more often. read more

Having lived in Eugene for four years, I can't believe it took me this long to try it for the first time. One of the highlights of my visit was the Mucho Dip. The portions are incredibly generous--definitely big enough to share, especially with the unlimited chips provided when dining in. The dip itself was delicious, and you are able to customize it to your likings. Another aspect that sets Mucho Gusto apart is its extensive menu selection. Compared to other similar chains like Chipotle and Qdoba, Mucho Gusto offers a wider variety of options. You are able to make everything from dip, bowls, burritos, salads and even tostatas. The mango salsa is great and everything I've had there has been so fresh. I also love that Mucho Gusto started right here in Eugene. It's wonderful to see a local business thriving and offering such a fantastic dining experience. There can be a bit of a wait, but it is absolutely worth it. The combination of great food, generous portions, and outstanding customer service makes Mucho Gusto a good choice for quick Mexican dining in Eugene. This place is awesome! Tucked in a college town there are places to sit inside and out. Ordering online was easy and got me 10% off. There were so many choices but I went with a burrito that I was able to customize fully. It came with chips and salsa for $9!! What a deal! Everything was delicious and freshly made. I tried much gusto for the first time the other day and it was great! A nice change from chipotle or other Mexican fast casual chains. All the ingredients seemed very high quality. They had a great selection of meats and toppings. Burrito was huge and very filling. Every entree comes with chips and a drink which is a nice touch. I had the taco salad with tofu and carnitas. Loaded that baby up! It was the best Mexican I've had in a while. The hibiscus margarita was delicious. Great taste. I never thought a burrito could make me sad, until now. Eating this burrito made me sad. It tasted acidic (not spicy, big difference) and it hurt my soul to consume. It was bland and I was never notified that my order was ready for pickup, so it was cold by the time I got to it. That's pretty bad. Excellent tacos and burritos! My brother raved about this place, so when in Eugene, give it a go, right? I had a burrito with chicken and just about everything. The vegetables were fresh, the chicken was cooked well and marinated in a delicious mix. The chips offered were house made and fantastic. The salsa that came with it was a little too spicy for my taste. I gave 4 stars because it wasn't lunch hour and tables were still a mess and trash in the floor. Maybe the lunch rush was crazy and they just hadn't got to it yet, but it was already close to 3pm and the restaurant had only 2 tables occupied. This location is a little closer to my office so I order delivery for lunch sometimes and I've never had an issue. The food is always the same quality and portion that you get in person. After she had placed and paid for a $40 order, she tried to use the restroom and was told she couldn't because she wasn't dining in. Their burrito was very tasty with delicious shredded beef and fresh ingredients, but it wasn't wrapped very well. After three bites it started falling apart, the bottom oped up and it was very messy and pretty much spoiled the meal. I never had that problem at Chipotle. read more

I absolutely love the people that work at Mucho Gusto. Where the food lacks, their attitude, personality, and service absolute pick up the slack. I can attest to this especially, because every now and then there's some incidental cross contamination with my food and they NEVER make me feel bad when they have to remake my order. It's always genuinely apologetic, sincere, and I never have to advocate for myself. With all that being said, the food is always amazing and so fresh- with one caveat: the tofu. Please, please, please just set the tofu a LITTLE bit further away from all the meat, and just scrape the cheese off of the black top. That's all that's holding you from the strongest 5 star I could give for a chain restaurant. Seriously, y'all rock and deserve the world, but for the love of god, put the tofu a little bit further away from the meat. read more

It had been awhile since I had been to MG so I decided to stop in and grab a mucho dip to snack on for a couple days...came straight home and was starving had not had anything but my coffee...I ate about a third of it and was full..thank god!! Because 3 hours later I was so sick I almost called 911 I didn't know what was going on..finally my body was able to reject all of it! I also got a strawberry slush drink I don't have any clue what made me sick it all looked fresh and tasted fine but something was very wrong. I enjoy the Grande Salad with cod. It's the only thing I get and am satisfied with it every time. I like the consistently crisp of the romaine and cabbage, the fluffiness of the rice and the mild and tender cod. I get all the fresh salsa and top it with their guac and pepita citrus dressing. They have a great selection and the food is very fresh. But the flavor is definitely lacking. I have gotten a burrito every time. It just seems like no matter what I add to it, including all the salsa choices, there's never much flavor. Very very bland. I know other people who absolutely love their food. The staff here are so sweet! I just stopped in to get some lunch and the woman taking my order asked about my fishing hat and we had a nice back & forth convo. The place is very clean, offers touch-less hand sanitizer at the door, everyone's wearing masks, and they have markers for 6ft spacing between customers. The food as always is on-point! read more

The franchise owners need to be better. I've seen multiple staff members harrased by customers while just waiting for my own online food order. Staff here is amazing! If you order directly in line (ft. Mask) they always get it right...using the online system it's always one/a few steps wrong because of the way you can't input things. 3 stars for the staff killin it but -97 for the upper management not having the same thing you offer in store online. The food is great if they wouldn't rip you off every time you try and go there. The portions have been sooo small lately pretty disappointing. I dread coming here because the workers are always sooo rude and not friendly at all. I went there today and the service was terrible and food portion was so small it looked like I got a kids meal. Stopped in on a whim and was amazed by how delicious the food is! The beef is a very delicious birria with large servings of all the toppings, protein, and rice. The chips were a bit salty but they balanced out with everything else. I'm Mexican and from LA so I'm used to really good Mexican food. I had the tostada with beef and all the toppings, it was delicious. I have them put the topping on the bottom and the corn tostada on top, I call it sombrero (hat). The avocado/cilantro sauce gives it that extra flavor. I have not tried any of the others proteins yet. read more

This restaurant has the potential to be a really fine and needed restaurant in south Eugene. I went there tonight and about 6:15 and was the only customer, a Friday night before a holiday this place should be rockin'. Something is wrong. Tonight is the second time in a row I have been totally displeased with their operation. First a few months ago I was told at the cash register that there was an upcharge for the hot sauce. I was not told this was happening as it was put on my plate so I had no choice. I didn't pay for their upcharge. Tonight again disappointed, asked for two similar taco plates and they set them up as a double taco plates. While this was going on server waiting on me was interupted and pushed out of the way so another server could make a carry out order. Total confusion. When I got to the check stand they charged me for the double taco that I didn't order nor want. The management of this restaurant needs to be on duty more often. read more

I was there tonight and witnessed how one of the employees in the line had guacamole all over her gloves then proceeded to "clean" her gloves with paper instead of changing gloves, then she proceeded to ring up the customer and handled cash all using the same gloves!!!! the guy didn't even notice because he wasn't looking but I was next to her and saw it all.
