Steak came well-done. We ordered chicken thigh and the waitress gave us chicken breast and said "that's how our thighs are" My wife got fed up and said "no that's breast, that's not what I ordered". The young female and male were constantly flirting and could not be separated. They could do all that, but atleast remember meals and provide some service. The owner is nice with manners, his employees are what ruining everything. Green pasta isn't what it used to be, chicken was not flavored well...which was weird. Food was great and she was very kind. Now there's a young man that I can only guess is related to the owner. He's rude and dismissive. Been coming here for like 3 years!! And it's Always so good. Had lunch today and Wow was I disappointed. What I usually get tallarin Verde steak had NO FLAVOR!! And my tallarin Verde taste like seafood. Taste like he put my food in a pan that he didn't clean right that he had cooked seafood in. Waiter also wasn't very tentative. I was more than pleased with my birthday dinner this year! I ordered 4 pollos a la brasa came with 2 sides per pollo! When I tell you these pollos where loaded with juice delicious flavor I am not even kidding! They were cooked to absolute perfection! The fries where fresh and crispy perfectly salted, and the beans OH- MY- LAWD the beans! They were so creamy, perfectly seasoned and such a phenomenal compliment to the pollos. I also got side salad, the salad was so fresh and delicious! Needless to say I am highly pleased with my birthday dinner and so was my family and friends. The customer service is very poor. The portions of food very small, for the price gouging they do. Their food does not have flavor or taste like authentic Peruvian food. My husband who is Peruvian disliked how he was treated and complained about the portions. Your wasting, time and money here. Will take my customer support else ware. I do not recommend to even try. More of a 3.5 star experience because of a couple of things. Bread given at the beginning of the meal is sliced and not like the rolls I am use to. The green sauce is extremely mild and has no kick. The chicken soup is good but mostly all broth. I had a total of 4 pieces of chicken inside. However the customer service was good, lots of parking, clean and food came out fast. read more

Drove 30 miles from my hotel to eat dinner here, showed up 45 minutes prior to close and they wouldn't serve me.

The food is really good here. Super flavorful. But one thing i will share with you all with covid being present is that i did notice the cook does not wear a mask at all. Thought I'd share as this may be something people should be aware of. And you can decide whether to eat here or not. I've been back twice during this pandemic and both times the cook wasn't wearing any type of face covering, so be aware if that's something you wouldn't like. read more

This spot is under new management. As a result, they've added a few new items to the menu, in addition to their original menu from when it was under the previous management. I tried the Tacu Tacu plate. It was pretty good. I always like over-easy eggs on top of rice (and beans in the case of this dish). The fried plantains were also a nice touch. The meat, while flavorful, was a a bit dry for my tastes. I believe I will stick with the dish that never disappoints me - Lomo Saltado. Oh, and the Yucca Fries are very good too. The food here is good. Appetizers are definitely above average, and very authentic tasting. I personally recommend the papa rellena here as it is very close to what you would find in Peru. They make their own Chicha Morada (a fruity purple corn drink) which is always a plus. To my taste is a bit sweet, but delicious nonetheless. The Lomo Saltado here is ok. It could use more soy sauce flavoring as that is lost with some of the other spices they put in. Mind you, it is very good, it just doesn't have he typical Asian influence with the soy sauce as prevalent as other places you might go to. The Aji sauce is VERY balanced. You get a good blend of the cheese, huacatay, and peppers, and is nice and creamy. Great flavor on the chicken. Their appetizers are by far, their best quality. The main courses I've tried have been good, but they do an exceptional job with their appetizers. read more

Found this place while searching yelp for a place to eat while in town for business. We are big Peruvian cuisine fans so the reviews drew us to it. The food was very good ceviche was fresh and delicious, lomo was so good, juicy and cooked perfectly. Fried rice was delicious and we tried tallarines saltado for the first time and it was outstanding. Too bad they didn't have Pollo a las brasas or seafood for paella we would have loved to try. The portions were generous and cooked perfectly. Now on to service..... First, the reviews are accurate about service. The hostess/waitress needs extensive training on customer service, starting off by greeting and just her overall how she carries herself. Like a lot of the reviews here stated she greeted us with; there's no chicken (like so many reviews have stated) we only have 3 lomo saltado plates left and there's no seafood only fish ceviche. This is as she was turned sideways and not even looking at us!! Totally unacceptable I understand this happens they run out of certain items although this seems to be the norm judging by previous reviews. The way she addresses customers and her wording and demeanor needs extensive training. After she seated us she did check up on us and offered refills. She has some skills but I think it's just her personality, lacks people skills or just hates her job not sure. I'm not a shrink, just saying ;). Despite the crappy service I would give them a try again when in town. I hope the owners work on improving this area in their business. This has happened to me multiple times but I keep coming back because the food is great but this is it. I was on the phone placing a Phone order at 6:30 PM was talking to a girl. Suddenly my call got disconnected. I kept trying to call back to continue to place my order but I'm guessing because it was a big order. The young lady and the cooks didn't want to take my order remind you this place closes at 8 PM . So I drove down to the restaurant got here at 6:55 PM and was told that they stopped taking orders at 7 PM so I told the young lady that hung up the phone call on me that it was not 7 PM that why was she refusing to take my order and she just continue to give me an attitude. I am done with this restaurant. They also discriminate just cause you're not Peruvian. They treat you different. I love Peruvian food! So when I seen this small restaurant in my parents neighborhood, I was excited to try it out. The food was ok, not bad not great just ok. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, meat was over cooked and hard to chew. Prices are a little higher than most Peruvian restaurants I've been to. Soup and bread are not included in a meal.
