Honestly, I just love Peruvian food and it's the closest one that I'm aware of. It can sometimes be greasy, but if I need my fix of lomo saltado or saltado de pescado, you'll probably catch me here. It's small, so I haven't been when there is like a huge line or wait to get in. Normally walk in and seated right away. Food is fresh. The yucca as an appetizer . And the green sauce! My god. I could go just to take some of it home. The ambiance is homey. I love Latino businesses cause I always feel welcomed. I always enjoy Peruvian cuisine. This restaurant is small but has a nice, comfortable vibe for dining in. I ordered an Empanada to start and Pollo Saltado for my dinner. The Empanada was filled with seasoned beef, olives, and hard boiled eggs. The filling was flavorful although the crust was more tender than crisp. It could have used some additional time to attain a decent outer crust. Pollo Saltado consisted of a large portion of tender, boneless chicken, stir fried with French fries and onion and served with steamed rice. It was delicious accompanied by the rice but was very salty from the soy sauce by itself. (This is an extremely common occurrence with this particular dish due to the varying salinity level of different soy sauce brands.) Since the saltado had a good overall flavor, if I were to order this again, I would recommend requesting that the food be made with a little less soy sauce. A dinner roll and butter blend was also served with this meal. The Chicha Morada I ordered as a beverage was delightfully delicious and refreshing from the mix of various fruit juices. The waitstaff were polite and efficient. There were no problems for me as for the service. The restaurant is freeway close to the 10 and there are plenty of parking spaces in the lot. Most of their business seems to be take out but dining in is also a good option. The video stereo system, providing the background music, played some nice tracks which made for an enjoyable experience. I would definitely entertain a return visit soon. read more

Update- I'm sorry I had to update my review. I ordered the same dish I absolutely love but my God-the steak was inedible. It was so tough I literally had to throw it away. The noodles were good as usual but I would rather pay more for the dish with a better cut of meat or they should tenderize the steak. I'll try again soon and see if it was a fluke. read more

Tried this place while out shopping, glad we did. Found a place to sit quickly with the menus. I've never eaten Peruvian food per se, and I was not disappointed. Food came out hot and tasted great, loved the char on my steak. The noodles had a lot of flavor including the tomatoes and onions. My wife had a meal with steak, fries and rice and with the sauce, it was also wonderful. I would eat here again. Don't know why it has only 3+ stars, I found it a very good place to eat. They also don't give you dinner rolls like every other place does. The green chile, or aji verde, is very watery. The sides were so small. Came in on a Sunday afternoon around 5 pm to try out this Peruvian restaurant. When we walked in the waitress/server didn't let us choose where to sit instead insisted that we sit on the left side of the restaurant. My family and I did not appreciate her attitude I know we came in an hour before closing but the restaurant was completely empty at the time we arrived. The food was and came out realativly fast. This is the worst food I've eaten my parents were hungry and were eating the food and to make it worse there was a metal fiber in the spaghetti from a fiber scrubb. I'd hate to complain, but the service and the quality of the food we received today was less than mediocre. First of all, we wanted to order a plate of lomo saltado con chaufa and ahi de gallina. We were told that both were not available today. This kind of made it a deal breaker as I was craving for ahi de gallina and that is the reason why I wanted to come to this place. Everything else that they suggested sounded like I could get it elsewhere, not necessary Peruvian. I ended up ordering Ceviche, but the seafood was underwhelmingly bland and not lemony like it is supposed to. I was also told that they stopped serving a plate of bread about two years ago. There is nothing much that I could appreciate for a lunch that ended up costing us more than $50. I don't know if this restaurant can survive much longer. read more
