When we were moving kids rooms and getting new furniture we opted to also do carpet and paint in the bedrooms. Knowing that doing paint on our own would be too time consuming and stressful we opted to hire someone to do it. We got several bids and went with Muciopro due to the price and comfort in them understanding the scope after visiting our home. Mucio was extremely professional and prompt in all communications. When the time came to paint, the team arrived and were very respectful and surprisingly quiet as they went about getting the work done. After they left we noticed some areas that needed touch up, however we had a very tight timeline due to carpet coming in. Mucio arranged to come out and touch up the walls before the carpet was delivered. Also the previous owners had painted on their own and there were places on the ceiling you would see the paint overlap. The work that was done by Mucio's crew has left much to be desired. The project involved muddying and painting of the ceilings in multiple rooms, which was completed in timely manner. However, the paint on the ceiling was patchy and uneven. After receiving five quotes, we decided to go with Mucio to paint the interior of our house (roughly 1,500 sq ft + all the ceilings). This included smoothing out our ceilings, painting all the ceilings, walls and trims. Not only was the price fair, Mucio himself is your main contact and he is genuinely a kind-hearted man. He was always prompt and on time and his two week job estimate took exactly two weeks to complete. His crew is extremely courteous and almost too quiet. We were rarely at the house (moved out for 2 weeks so they had the house to themselves) but when we would show up to check up every couple days, it was always quiet and everyone was working hard! They are not disruptive (no loud music), they're diligent workers and produce high quality work. The prepped and taped everything carefully as we had a fully furnished home. I selected Mucio painting based on the reviews here; however, my experience was NOT similar. I think he is a good guy, just got over his head here. In addition to painting a room, Mucio agreed to install crown moulding. He arrived on time, but after 30 minutes it was CRYSTAL clear, he didnt know what he was doing. I had to stop him mid morning otherwise he nd his team would of ruined all the expensive hemlock crown moulding. I dont know if was a communication issue or that he simply lied to get the job. He did though refer in a connection of his that I ultimately hired to complete the job. The referral completed it well, on time and for a reasonable price, (especially in today's crazy prices). Mucio's painting of the room was mediocre at best. He used commercial grade paint on my home after I insisted on higher grade stuff, (Im guessing most homeowners dont know the difference. Mucio and his crew Put up drywall in our bathroom and painted the ceilings and walls in our bedrooms, and patched 10 holes in our basement. They were always very prompt each day of work. They were courteous and careful about protecting our home from dust (plastic in the doorways and paper on the floors). The paint job was high quality and they paid attention to details-filling small holes before hand and caulking in the corners. They didn't speak a ton of English with me but I could always text mucio and he would respond right away in English. They didn't ask for payment us until the job was all finished and we were satisfied. It was very reasonable-about 3k for the entire job which took them about 5 days. Best. Painters. EVER. Seriously, as good as it could ever get. We are readying our 21 year old home to go on market. Let's just say, our home has lots of .... issues. It's 21 years old! And our realtor said it should be painted, from top to bottom, before all the open houses. She recommended Mucio Pro Painting, along with a few other painting companies (I think she found Mucio on Yelp, btw), and I called, in total, 5 companies for bids. One company never called me back (they painted my neighbor's house's lower level, though - for more than what Mucio charged me for my entire home). One company diddled around with scheduling to visit (we kept booking appointments for his visit here but he kept cancelling. I guess bigger jobs kept coming up for him). Two companies that visited quoted me sky-high estimates for the job. And then there was Mucio. He visited our home, checked it over, and quoted me a price that was incredibly reasonable. And it wasn't an "estimate"; it was the flat charge for the job. No hidden fees, no surprises, that was the price. And it was much lower than the others'. Between that and all the positive Yelp reviews, we hired him. Best decision ever. Here's why: he and his crew were super prompt every day here. They were super polite and super quiet (no music playing, no loud talking or shouting. We barely even knew they were here). They were quick (three days, to do everything. It was amazing). They were respectful of us and our belongings (we wanted to treat them to lunch and even got them pizza and donuts, and we offered them water bottles daily and they didn't even take anything! Like, they didn't want to put us out. But they were working so hard, we wanted to provide food and water!). They did extra small jobs to patch and paint areas that weren't specifically in the initial bid, and they didn't charge for them. Most importantly, they did an amazing job. You can't even see where we had installed heavy artwork (which created gaping holes in the walls), or nailed down sculptures on the ledge on our landing, or any of the many, many deep gauges our wacked dog scratched into the door panels. It's like this is a new home and no one lived here. It's unreal. Beautiful, thorough job. I can't say enough good things about Mucio and his crew. They were very polite, meticulous with the job, and stayed on schedule. They protected the work area and tried to minimize mess. I was supposed to have a general contractor repair the drywall, paint, and put in new flooring after the electrician was done wiring to put in recessed lighting and put in new dedicated electrical outlets for a new heater. Needless to say, the electrician needed to access behind the drywall and this resulted in huge holes made to the drywall. I also had asbestos removed from my popcorn ceiling so the ceiling needed to be textured and re-painted too. But after confirming that everything was on schedule, the general contractor called me to say he cannot work on my house at all on the day he was supposed to start work! I was so desperate I cold-called over a dozen drywall and painting firms in Seattle and Bellevue. Only Mucio Pro gave me a very reasonable estimate to start work on a short notice. The scope of work they needed to do on my house was extensive. Some of the ceilings were damaged after removing the asbestos and the light fixtures. Mucio and his crew fixed all that and re-textured the ceiling to match the bathroom and laundry room that was remodeled 7 years ago. Then they fixed all the large drywall holes (some larger than 1 foot in diameter.) Then they applied joint compound and painted everything. They even got as much as possible behind the water heater. When I pointed out we might have had a miscommunication about whether the small wall on the hallway should have been painted the accent color, he didn't argue and just came back and painted the color I wanted for free. In a nutshell - Mucio is amazing! We hired him to finish our ceiling (which was just scraped of popcorn texture), skim-coat our walls (which had really thick knockdown texture) and paint everything (walls, doors and trim). It was a big job and he tackled it like a pro. He took care in making sure the over spray and dust were as contained as possible. Clients buy the paint (and maybe primer) based on what he says he needs and he was great about communicating via text when he needed more of something. There was a terrible patch job on a closet ceiling and Mucio cut out and replaced the drywall - on his own will. He took the initiative to fix this horrible problem we didn't want to deal with! And it looks GREAT!!!! When he finished the job, I told him I felt like crying because everything looked so beautiful! Very detail-oriented, skilled, and high quality (power washed, spray first coat and hand-painted with brush and rollers for touching up the details). Worked extremely hard 10+ hr days (got our +2,000 sq ft home done in 2 days). They were also able to fix rotted siding included with the paint job! Other painters we quoted would not do the siding work. Our exterior now is as good as new. They also took care to not damage the plants and shrubs that grows along side the house as much as they could. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable. They did a phenomenal job, our maintenance manger complimented their work and even asked for their name as they appreciated the quality of work. We had Mucio painted our whole interior except for a few rooms about 1.5 years ago and is very happy with the outcome. We provided our own paints and Mucio helped with color matching our molding trim and getting those paints. HIs crew is punctual and work hard all day. There was only one time where they messed up when they removed the plastic before some of the paints dry up and causes all flakes to stick onto them and made it look terrible when it dried up.
