Terrible! I'm not even that picky but dang! They've broken sprinkler heads a number of times but what really gets me is they don't give you what you pay for. I signed up, and paid for, a half hour's service. They would stay between 10-15 minutes. I've called to complain several times but it never got better. In fact it got worse. They stopped even going into the back yard all together. When I complained the worker told the boss he couldn't find anything else to do. Please, what a crock! After a wind storm they tried to charge me extra for staying longer. I would've paid if they had given me some money back for all the times they didn't stay for the time they're paid to stay. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a gardener. read more

This crew is the best. My roses and flowerbeds have never looked more lovely. I wanted to add some pavers, and they took care of that too. I never have to call and wonder where they are. They show up on time and on regular scheduled dates. I am rarely ever here when they come. It has turned out to be a great working relationship. read more

Mueller Landscape has done our yard maintenance for a couple years and they've always done an excellent job. I recently called John (owner) to get a quote to install sprinklers, as my husband and I were tired of watering by hand. He called me back right away and then offered to meet my husband at our home within the hour. By the following Monday he had a very nice gentleman at our home digging and prepping for sprinklers. Everything was installed and the yard, grass included, was returned to normal within the week; you could hardly tell it was all dug up just days before!! Mueller Landscape has been doing yard maintenance for us now for a few years and they have always been professional and friendly. We recently asked John (the owner) to give us an estimate on re-landscaping our front and back yards and they were able to stay within our budget, without cutting back on the quality of their work. He did a computerized picture of what the front would look like with rock and plants and it turned out beautifully. The crew was polite and friendly, as well as being hard workers... they always cleaned up after each day. I would not recommend Mueller Landscaping to anyone who cares about having a good looking yard. I recently had a lot of landscaping work done to my front and back yard and it only took Mueller Landscaping a month to diminish the great job that my previous landscapers had done to my back yard. When I called to complain about the half ass job that was done they sent the supervisor out. The supervisor agreed that it was a half ass job after seeing what I had complained about. He even used the phrase "that it had looked like a mow, blow and go job!" After the supervisor came out and I had addressed my concerns with him he wrote them down and assured me that they wouldn't happen anymore and he would speak with the crew. The following visit the same thing happened so he obviously did not inform the crew. The guys that they sent out are not landscaping professionals and look like they were picked up in front of Home Depot. They just do the job as quick as possible and then move on to the next job on the list. There is no care given to the property whatsoever. They do not trim the plants, they do not pull the weeds, they do not fertilize if needed (unless you pay them extra to do so) they just mow the lawn (which doesn't look very good) and use the weed eater and leave all of the grass clippings in the mulch. I am very disappointed in the service that I had received from Mueller Landscaping and will be looking elsewhere for a landscaping service that cares about their clients. Paying $160/month ($40 a week) to have someone come out to my house and mow my lawn is the definition of a rip-off!! read more

They started off fine but then they would show up for a half hour and work for 5 minutes and charge me full price.They didnt rake,cut grass(full yard) or trim all bushes as per contract.I complained twice but no resolve.They management or owner didnt care about this customer.After the third incident of them showing up and not doing any yardwork I fired that company,the worker just sat in his truck for 30 minutes snipped a few branches from a bush and left.They thought nobody was home everytime they showed up I guess but I was and saw everything they did and did not do.I took pictures and videos of occurences but Company wasnt interested in proof.Mueller Landscape Inc is a total sham,they will rip you off,Stay away from this con artitst.Buyer beware!!!!! read more

I appreciate the excellent quality of work and communication I experienced when John Mueller's team recently installed a new paver patio and walkways in our yard. It was a tough job that involved removal of 30-year-old patio and sidewalks as well as offending tree roots. Throughout the project, John kept me posted on the progress, answered all my questions, and sent photos. The entire experience was wonderful! read more

If you value your irrigation system or trees do not use this company. Think whack/mow/blow/go. They succeeded in weed whacking the base of a newly planted tree to the point of removing bark and resulting in death by power whacker. We have replaced after EVERY service at least one sprinkler head. The crew are friendly and show up on the appointed day but that is the only positive thing I can say about the service read more

I think they did an okay job, but never really got everything done. They are very nice, but I wish they were realistic about what they could and couldn't do. If a job is too big or you don't think that your team can accomplish what we need or if a customer is asking for too much, either charge more or tell your customer that you can not accommodate him immediately. This company is amazing. From the first phone call to the finished clean up I was impressed. I needed a clean up of lots of overgrowth. Ed and Joseph showed up, listened to my requests and completed the project in under the scheduled time exactly how I wanted it. Mueller landscape is now my go to for my lawn and landscaping needs. My roommates and I recently needed to have some major work done to our yard. Unfortunately, it got a little out of control and we really didn't want to deal with 6 ft bushes and weeds everywhere. I talked to Nathan of Mueller Landscape and he gave me a quote up front, got me scheduled when I wanted, and told me they would attempt to finish the work in 2 hours. If the 2 hours ran out they would stop, unless I previously gave permission to do so, and finish later. In 2 hours these guys got rid of everything and we had something like 12 bags of weeds from the work. I was very surprised they got it done in that time frame, and I didn't even recognize the yard afterward. Awesome job! They went above and beyond to get it done in a short amount of time and were affordable as well. I highly recommend Mueller Landscape to everyone. I have had many failed attempts with landscapers being unreliable, over priced, and just not very efficient. Until I found Mueller Landscape. WOW! What a HUGE difference in everything! Not only do they do what they are paid to do, but they go beyond my expectations. Our landscapers are super thoughtful not only to my 4 children, but my dogs as well. Just this past friday we had a gas leak under our home, and our landscapers brought it to my attention. Had he not done that it would have a an extremely bad situation. He could have easily ignore it, and gone his way. SDGE had to come and shut off our main gas line. (all is good now) Anyway, our family absolutely loves Mueller Landscape! read more

Have been using Mueller Landscape for several years now and this is my first review - scheduling is EASY, the guys are on time, they go the extra mile to do little things (like bring heavy trash cans out to the curb!) and get the job done CLEANLY. Since the water crisis I let my grass die and often call Mueller to do a weed and clean... they have never disappointed me, job is done very well and looks great! read more

I rate no stars. The landscapers that Mueller has is not top quality or should I say not quality at all!! I was charged a certain fee for 1 hour of biweekly services. They came to my home and where only there for 35-45 minutes. at a time. When I called Mr. Mueller, stated that he didn't know why his guys would do that and they would not lie about how long they were there. Then another time they weed wacked and blew grass and rocks all over our expensice car. When we again phoned Mr. Mueller, he showed up and looked at the car. Did not offer a discount, or offer to clean the car, or have it cleaned, he just looked at the car and left. I gave them chance after chance to see if they would improve. No such luck. They kept showing up at my house about 15-25 minutes past the hour and leaving promptly at the top of the hour. I phoned Mr. Mueller to notify that I was cancelling his services, and he seemed unconcerned. Not, "How may we serve you better, or how may we improve our servieces to you, or how can we keep you as a customer?" Nothing, very disappointed. read more

Their prices are good but they did nothing but trim the grass on my rental property. When I went into the yard after the renters moved out I was horrified. The lawn was in terrible shape and full of bare spots, the trees were overgrown so much that you couldn't walk under them, a bush was diseased, the irrigation was in disrepair and many plants had died. I would have expected that they would have noticed these things (that's why I hired a professional landscaper) and informed me so they could do the work. When I brought up the lawn, and diseased bush (I trimmed the trees and fixed the irrigation myself) John seemed very reluctant to help. He said he couldn't help me with the lawn because it's so hard finding the right seeds to match the existing lawn and that he wouldn't use the chemicals needed to treat my bush because it requires special suits to spray and he didn't want the liability. There are other treatments available besides toxic treatments and I was put off with his "can't do" attitude. I won't be using them again in the future. read more
