Mug Pub has a great variety on the menu. Six of us ordered different things. Fish and Chips had perfectly coated breading. You could see and taste the delicious fish. French Fries are hand made. I am so very disappointed in this place.. We come into this establishment more than twice a week for a mug we signed up for and pay for..and some good grub.. but lately the food has been worse and worse..the service we had tonight was so ridiculous that i felt completely ignored..my bartender interacted with us 3 times..here is your beer...your food your bill..without even asking if what we ordered was ok..or right..not even offering condiments....which it wasn't right and still got charged..after speaking to one of the managers who decided the best way to fix things was free beer which we declined..we walked out after paying for bad food.. poor service..( from one bartender..this is not extended to the whole team) and a really sour disposition toward a place we cheer on to friends.. I am just disheartened that in less than a year they have gone so far down with the quality.. Happy hour was great they give you the same size on appetizers as the regular menu. Amber was really friendly, WE accidentally ordered nachos with onions she said "we can remake them" (of course we DIDN'T because it was our fault and we were halfway through) but really nice she offered. The nachos were very abundant more cheese than chips. Burger was amazing! I ordered medium rare and it actually came out that way, most restaurants can't get that right so kudos. read more

Wife and I stopped in for some beers and food around 7pm on a Saturday night. We both were impressed by the atmosphere of the bar and the amount of TV's for sporting games. Our waitress (Zena) did an awesome job, she was very nice and polite and she still did manage to check on us on a regular basis in a fully packed bar. Additional we liked that the other floating waitress did stop over along with the owner/manager occasionally just to make sure we were "still good". To sum it up we never had empty beers. We started off with a few pre-dinner draft beers, they came out cold and tasted fresh. However for us it was the food that blew us away. To start we went with chips and salsa to go with our beers. The chips were warm and toasted they were great with the salsa that was provided, but don't forget the pub cheese to go with it too. We devour the plate of chips and was ready too order more because they were that good. So we compromised and ordered the steak tacos that came with chips and salsa, along with getting some garlic parm boneless wings. The tacos and the boneless wings were both really good also, you could tell they had someone in the kitchen that took pride in the food that was coming out. Wish this place was closer to our home as we would love to make it our new neighborhood bar. However we will be sure to stop again when we are in the neighborhood of Mug Pub. read more

For a place that calls themselves the "MUG" pub the beer selection was very mediocre. I honestly expected a larger variety of choices. Many of the few choices for Craft Beer were empty when we went and they hadnt replaced with anything new. I was very disappointed in this as we like to go try a variety of Beers when we go out. We have enjoyed happy hour at Mug Pub...especially their steak bites. On our third visit we saw the steak bites were removed from happy hour. We were disappointed but found other delicious items. On our fifth trip, we ordered our usual dry Tito's martini...only to find they charged us $4 extra a drink to fill the glass instead of our usual $5 HH martini. We order the same drink everywhere we go and it is full martini glass. If you were to add vermouth, it's just a drop. The manager adjusted our billl with a lecture on how it was a "full" glass. Friday night, newer place, bout 10:30, need to grab a bite to eat and maybe a beer. Your better off stopping at the 7-11 on the corner from here. Got wings and steak bites. I have no clue where these wings came from but they were the tiniest I've ever seen. Let's be real wings are not expensive and everyone has them and over charges for them but honestly the bowling alley has bigger wings. Steak bites were good but again very small portions for money. Maybe 10 people in the whole place 3 girls behind the bar and the service was horrible. Idk if the girl was new or just flighty. Lastly the hip hop cant understand a word music that was playing at a level it was hard to talk to my girlfriend across from me. Had a great second experience at Mug Pub. It was a busy Saturday evening right at dinner rush and with March Madness Final 4 games on and we still had prompt, great service. The Parmesan tater tots were great then we split a chicken sandwich with was delicious, too. Managers were also walking around making sure everyone was having a great experience. I really liked this place at first. This was my go to restaurant. I went there a few weeks ago and there was only one waitress there. I waited 45 minutes for the appetizer/food.The pretzels were stiff and looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Ever since I haven't been back. We have been waiting for a neighborhood casual bar to open up in our area, and when we saw this pop up we knew we had to try it! We sat at the bar and were greeted by I believe the manager (sorry I forgot his name), who was very friendly. We ordered a few beers and settled on the char-grilled pub wings and steak bites. The restaurant itself is just one open room with a bar to the left with a few tables and then the remaining tables to the right. I could see how it would be a little loud if the place filled up because there's no separation. There are plenty of TVs to watch, and a great selection of drinks. My husband and I love playing bar games and we noticed that if you're playing darts, no one can use the golf game- which to us is a huge bummer. The place was dead for a TH night, which doesn't seem too promising, so locals please try this place out and make it stay! The location IS a little weird, it's at the end of a plaza- but I guess there is ample parking! Our food came after a while- the wings were outstanding and the steak bites were above average. Horrible service. Like beyond horrible. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for some sliders, steak bites (cooked rare), a burger, some wings, and tater tots. When the food got to our table, it was lukewarm. We were a party of five. The party of around 12 that arrived 15 minutes after us, had their food 30 minutes before us. We had to chase down our server 15 minutes after my mom ordered her Diet Coke for her to finally get it. I would not recommend at all. read more
