    Convenient location to browse. 03/10/22

Muji East 59th Street Muji is a Japanese retail company that sells a wide variety of household and consumer goods. Muji's design philosophy is minimalist. Muji places an emphasis on recycling, reducing production and packaging waste, and a no-logo or "no-brand" policy. I guess I'm attracted to the calming colors and the lack of overstimulation to the senses. Some days I want a break from the busy artistic designs. I do wish the items were not so expensive. I understand importing them comes with a price. As with the other Muji locations, customer service is of upmost importance. Employees are trained and knowledgeable. This store is clean, organized, and fully stocked. I recommend you visit this location.

What an incredible store. It has everything I need and even things I didn't know I needed. The esthetic is simple, refined and eye catching. While I enjoy browsing, I always find something I need for my kitchen, clothing, beauty items, stationery and food too - I always get some snacks. There are a few locations in they city and one in Brooklyn too. Definitely worth a visit.

Love Muji-the 59th st location is probably the prettiest store. Select merchandise is currently 30-70% off. They offer digital fabric printing located in the back of the store (which is super cute). Head downstairs to the cafe if you're thirsty and browse around!!

They have a cafe in the lower level!

I was surprised when I saw my name on the perfume and lipstick and was so excited to show it my granddaughter at home. I'm so happy with the service and my sisters were speaking loads of praise about you two as well. I'm glad that I came to this store today, and look forward to shopping there. From the granddaughter- If you suggested the perfume for her you did great I like the smell and will be searching for more like it!

From the moment she greeted me, she was warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed. I mentioned I was looking for new makeup for an upcoming trip, and Jeri went above and beyond. She gave me excellent recommendations, helped me put together the perfect combinations, and even taught me a few things that I'll definitely carry into my makeup routine moving forward. What stood out most was her patience and professionalism. Even in such a busy store, while working alone, she managed multiple customers flawlessly and with ease. It was honestly impressive and beautiful to watch her handle everything so smoothly without ever making anyone feel rushed. On top of that, she made sure to tell me about current promotions, which helped me save tremendously. I ended up purchasing all of her recommendations and couldn't be happier. Jeri made my shopping experience exceptional, and I will absolutely return to see her again for future purchases. Highly recommend! RR (Aruba lady)

A lot of self checkout with staffers watching. Entry on both blocks of 34 and 33, I think. Downstairs has a lot of aisles. Very close to all the train routes. Shelves are stocked and neatly organized for the most part. This spot is supposedly smaller than other locations in the city. But that's okay, at least I didn't see anything like toys lying on the floor. No kids running around. Clean aisles + brightly lit area + decently spacious to walk around on your own. Surprised to see some Squishmallows peeking out in between other plushies. So, I was trying to reach for the ones from the top shelf. Staff from afar saw me struggling to reach but didn't offer any help + kept looking on and went back to chatting/joking with a coworker. This was around 9:30pm on a Sunday evening. I guess just a minor hiccup there, I will let it pass. Customers can find a limited yet decent selection of things like electronics, groceries, beauty and skincare/makeup, hygiene related products etc in each of their specific sections/aisles. The designs on greeting cards looked lovely. Some things were on sale like cat food - $10 for 12 cans. You just gotta stroll around to find out. It's convenient to have a Target in Midtown/next to the major train lines. Maybe I will stop by again, hopefully the service from employees will be better next time.

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.
