1st time dining - On a early Friday evening there was no wait time. Ambiance was relaxing and inviting. Waitress was friendly. I had to request for the refills of my iced tea. Main entree was delicious, however the side was served VERY sparingly. I'm excited to try the patio when it's warmer and hope they fix the kinks out as they are a fairly new restaurant to the area. Beautiful ambiance, that's the reason for a 3... We went in on a Sunday after church and it wasn't too busy. We sat on their beautiful inviting back patio. Ther server took our drink order and forgot to put in my beverage order... After waiting 20 min, asked for it and it was brought out. We waited about 25 minutes for our food order to come out (at the time, there were only 5 tables, so not a huge church rush).... I ordered the green Chile enchiladas which were about a 3... I asked for extra Chile and barely had any, food was not hot, more luke warm, and pinto beans were not cooked all the way. Our server only checked on us at the beginning and when she took our order .. we were not checked on while we ate. A friend ordered an iced tea and she forgot to put that in to. I give the ambiance a 5, food a 3, and setvice a 1... Definitely need to write stuff down and check on their guests more often. read more

We were looking forward to lunch today; the restaurant is beautiful and the food was So Bad we don't plan on returning. First the soup was so salty we couldn't eat it and had to send it back. The hamburger was overcooked and almost inedible .I had a caesar salad with chicken, the cheese was good, the dressing was not very good and the chicken was dry. The fry bread was not true fry bread, it was a thick flour tortilla done on the grill. The onion rings were all we had that was good. Our waitress was very nice but when we ask about two dishes, she said she didn't eat those ingredients - taste the menu or talk with other staff; know the food you are serving! We are Corrales residents and hope good restaurants succeed here. Unfortunately, Mulas disappoints. The ambience is very nice, good music (not too loud), but for the second time in two visits, the service was lacking. While there was only two tables with customers inside, it took five minutes to get seated. We sat outside, with only three other occupied tables. We ordered the pasta and the empanada. The pasta came first, no utensils, then three songs later (5 minutes or so) the empanada was brought out, again without utensils. The staff finally brought out utensils. When we asked to speak to the manager, she "explained" how tapas are served, never spoke to the lack of attention and when we mentioned the pasta was already cold after all that time and because we were undet a fan, she explained how we could've just moved. We have great hope that Mulas will work on its service because Corrales could definitely use more restaurants. But this wasn't worth it. Connie read more

This place is absolutely delicious! I read the menu before we got to there and I was scared that I wouldn't like anything. I was totally wrong! We walked in and the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. The exposed beams, the lighting, and of course the bar. We had the chicken empanadas that came with a salad and a house vinaigrette that was amazing! I had the Matanza Taco that comes with pork belly and my wife had the Trucha. If you are ever in the area, stop by, you won't be disappointed & we will definitely be back! read more

Went for dinner last night with my husband & made a reservation. Was greeted by a friendly server, had our choice of tables. The place is very cute & updated. Nice patio. Ordered a salad to split between us. 2 pasta dishes, and we drank water. The food was very good but the portions are very small for the price. Service was terrible. The waitress never filled up our waters, never checked on us. We were basically ignored. Then when she realized we were forgotten she did apologize but it was too late. Our dinner was done. She handed us a bill & we see that there is a QR code to pay. We use it & see there is a 3.5% service charge added (not listed on the bill). So I call the waitress over & ask if we just run our card like we usually do will there be a 3.5% charge & she said yes. So our total bill, with a 15% tip (service was not worth more than that) & a 3.5% service charge was $93. read more

Ok. So this isn't an entirely comprehensive review. I arrived to the restaurant to meet friends on a week day. The hostess immediately asked if I had a reservation. I said no. She offered for me and friends to sit at the bar. I said ok and that I'd be right back to let my friends know. She said ok. 2 minutes later, I came in to sit down, and the same hostess said, "sorry, I guess we are full." It was super weird. The apology itself was really empty. It felt like staff were confused. I don't mind being turned away, but just be super clear and professional about it. read more

Love the ambiance and decor. Open and pleasing. We ate inside but they have a great patio. It seems to be pretty new - and is not well marked from Corrales rd. We drove around and parked in the back. We were here for Saturday brunch and they had a varied menu. Huevos rancheros made with fry bread were delicious. Service was excellent. They don't have salt and pepper on tables which wasn't a problem since food was seasoned well. Definitely will be back! read more

Had dinner with my family celebrating a birthday. Our server Marcus was very attentive and I was thrilled by the "sideshow" of magic and trivia engaging my preteen daughter. Food is beautifully presented, flavors spot on. I think the ribeye with chimichurri was one of the better steaks I've had in Albuquerque. Well seasoned- well cooked. WOW this place is really good! We just had brunch at the new Mulas restaraunt in Corrales. They had a nice patio with music playing and it couldn't be a better setting. We both had the eggs Rancheros and they were superb. Even the tea glasses and all the items on the table showed a real sense of style and care for creating a wonderful experience. I don't know who the chef is but they are very talented. We will return again soon. read more

Had lunch there yesterday & was very pleased to see that they are changing their menus and going towards more of a tapas place. The baked avocado and shrimp tacos were fabulous. Corrales does not need or want another super expensive fancy dancy place to eat. What we want is a place that we can go to often and not spend a fortune! A Tapas place with REASONABLE prices is what we want here in Corrales so we can eat out more often! It would also be fantastic to have a good Mexican place in Corrales! read more

My wife and I had a late lunch there on May 23, 2024. She is a vegetarian, and the only thing on the menu without meat was the Chile Relleno. Today, I see on their website that they are touting their vegetarian selections. They told me that the beer I wanted would take a few minutes because they had to open a new keg, when it did not arrive, I found the waitress, and she told me they did not have any. When the food arrived, my wife found a toothpick in her food. Dishes were so salty that neither of us could enjoy them. Waitress service was poor. We will not be returning. read more

Mula's is a wonderful addition to Corrales's dining options. The food is excellent, and the service friendly and attentive. The east facing patio is heated and has Sandia views, inside seating is comfortable and spacious. Sooo disappointed. This place is super cute, but wow the food is not worth the price. We came here for brunch because their website said they had brunch, only to find out they were not doing brunch anymore. We ordered lunch instead and were not impressed. The service was good but the food took forever to come out and when we finally got it, it was nothing to write home about. Amazing dining experience. We had a late dinner and were greeted by friendly, attentive staff that never rushed us. My wife had the special rack of lamb, i had the red chili pasta with sliced rib eye and we shared a side of scallops. All of the dishes were incredible. Atmosphere was classy casual with an outdoor patio. We were greeted and welcomed immediately upon entering and the service was attentive but not rushed. The main chef greeted us and recognized my husband from dining at Mulas with a friend. Impressive ! Nam then prepared a special appetizer that was amazing. He then helped us select our main meal. I had scallops and lamb. It was the best lamb I have ever eaten. The combo of scallops and lamb was delicious. Nam also paired a beautiful wine to enhance the dining experience. Arrived at 6pm for dinner. Three items on the menu sold out, right at 6pm no way. One of our plates came with roasted potatoes, didn't get them, when asked for them they were old. Awful experience, where do I begin, oh I know when I showed up for my reservation on time with my significant other and all the tables were full, had to wait 15 minutes. Same for two other couples. Got sat down, waited another 10 minutes for water. Waitresses were very confused, obviously understaffed not their fault. Took our whole order drinks, appetizer and entree about 30 minutes after being sat. Drinks came 15 minutes later, they were wrong. I told the waitress. She said okay and did not come back for another 15 minutes. She came back with our appetizer and I reminded her of the wrong drinks, she took them. We ate the appetizer it was okay. Oh did I mention the water smelled like wet dog and tasted disgusting we asked for new cups and water and it was good. After finishing our appetizer she brought one drink, she said mine was taken to another table their making a new one. Meanwhile the 3 tables around us also waiting for their drinks/food well over an hour, the couple behind us walked out after and hour of waiting and wrong drinks. I got my drink we drank them and our food did not arrive for another 20 minutes. My partners food came first, she ordered a medium ribeye, it was more than raw, 10 minutes later the waiter came around with my food, saw the raw steak and took her plate back. Meanwhile I have my food now, the couple next to us also got a very raw steak and sent it back and was talking to the manager. A busser comes by and asked how the food is tasting, I look up at my partner who has no food and I say great! (Sarcastically) my risotto is very overcooked and extremely salty and so is the pork. The asparagus was good though yay! I waited for my partners food to come to eat took about 15 more minutes. Everything new on the plate was undercooked other than the steak. We lost our appetite at this time and didn't even want to eat anymore. We asked for boxes she brought the check and forgot the boxes I reminded her and it took quite awhile The waitress comped the steak and I do not blame her although she was all over the place so I left a smaller tip but this one is on management. It was a full house with it being Valentine's Day but at least 5 couples had their dinner plans ruined and I feel bad for them. We had fun laughing at it the entire night but still unacceptable for a special night for alot of people. 6:45 reservation and we left at 9:30pm. Take this one off the menu or do it better. The other members of the party ordered standard new mexican food, and they said it was good. So disappointing so wanted for this to be a really good Mexican restaurant however that food is pretty much the same as is offered at indigo Crow, locally and next-door and the full bar only has water down not full bar drinks and music blaring blaring on the outdoor porch would not allow anybody to eat or stay out there and just offered muffle the music indoors Overall very disappointed so was hoping for a really good New Mexican Mexican restaurant maybe some fantastic tacos not the same indigo fair that we've all had subject to for the fast decade read more

Showed up on a Sunday at 12:30. Open 9-1 Sunday. Asked to wait 10 minutes for a table. Another couple after us asked to wait 15 minutes. No problem. We saw the other couple, waiting across the restaurant, get seated. We were then told we would not be seated as they were running out of food. Really, you guys need to get your act together. At minimum don't send your poor receptionist to tell us the bad news....get the manager out there. Won't be going back. read more
