Been going to Mulinos for over 15 years. Excellent food and service always. Cozy atmosphere and great outdoor seating on the balcony.

Went to Mulino's for the first time on 3/13/2026 in search of a new Italian restaurant. We have a couple of go-to restaurants in the Springfield area, but it's always nice to try someplace new. Mulino"s was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of an architecturally pleasing brick building, with the interior ambiance (decor & lighting) fitting of the food style, setting a comforting mood along with the classic 50's/60's Italian American music. All around the food was both tasteful and comforting, similar to what I remember my Nonni would make. From the Calamari Friitti (appetizer) served with both a marinara and vodka sauce, the Meatballs (appetizer) of a classic beef and pork blend, to the Chicken Francaise (dinner), everything combined for a delicious meal. Mulino's is a great estaurant to visit with your spouse or friends for a nice 'family' dinner without being overly fancy/stuffy. One minor critique as I pretend to be a legitimate food reviewer, add a slight touch more butter to the Chicken Francaise sauce. My son and I collectively rated Mulino's: 4.25/5. read more

Meat balls and Spaghetti! The meat balls were dense extremely heavy and lacked any flavor! Three meatballs per serving I struggled to eat one! Complete lack of sauce! Spaghetti was just packaged, no surprise there! No cheese! Won't be ordering again! Very disappointing read more

I had a Caesar salad that was horrible. It wasn't fresh. It wasn't crisp and the dressing was not that good I ordered calamari that was greasy and heavy and clunky person. I was with hated their food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. read more

I haven't been to Mulinos in years so we decided to check it out once again. We started with the Calamari, it was served with 2 sauces. The squid was pretty large and rather chewy, I could not really tell the differences between the 2 sauces. I was not a fan. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the main course I had, I didn't see it on the menu. I did add a picture. The dish consisted of a piece of fish, several shrimp, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. The first thing that I noticed when the dish arrived was how very orange it was. Really, really, orange. I took a bite of the asparagus and it was super woody, the fish was very dry. I ended up just sending the meal back. read more

In town for a lax tournament and found this place. Great food. Great dessert. Great service. Nice ambiance. Highly recommend.

I have been to Mulino's in White Plains, NY a few times, but never here. The service was a bit slow. We waited over 35 -45 minutes for the main meal. The appetizers (salad and mussels), as well the Aperol spritz were great. So check that out. Everything we ordered was good. Some of us were dressed casual and that was fine as the dress code has changed over the years...now it looks more casual. Pretty decent sized menu to choose from. read more

The Hostess Sarah, she is always so Welcoming with a smile and seats you promptly where we asked to be seated in a certain area of the restaurant!! Our waiter Adam was also Welcoming with a Great Smile ! Took our order for drinks and told us about the specials. All our dishes were Amazing and Delicious! Two of us had The Salmon Piccata, my husband had the Seafood Fradiablo spicy but really good, and my girlfriend's husband had another Seafood dish which was delicious and eaten all up!! Mulinos is our "go to" restaurant in Northampton when we want to enjoy a quality dining experience. The food is great. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. We like to pair Mulinos with a visit to the Tunnel Bar which is conveniently located across the street. It makes for a great date night! read more

A very nice italian eatery in North Hampton, we walked to here from the North Hampton Hotel before heading off to the Wailing Jennies concert. It was a good solid choice. I had the homemade Pasta special and it was a solid meal. Her chicken and pasta was OK. The waitress very attentive and the atmosphire a bit above average, we enjoyed our meal but wondered if there just should have been a bit more to it. read more

Love sitting on the outdoor terrace. So charming! We used a Groupon for our meal and while it was a great deal, I felt that our service suffered when we told the waitress we had a Groupon. There were a few service missteps, which were disappointing, but didn't color our experience. For example, We had to ask for an extra knife for our meal after appetizers and bread service. Meals were good. That salmon entrée was far better than the pasta. I would definitely come back here and would dine indoors because that looks lovely too. read more

As noted by others, the service was wonderful. The room feels a little corporate, but also like a special occasion restaurant. We were prepared for a lovely evening. The menu is very heavy on cream sauce and spaghetti/linguine, so I chose the seafood risotto. I like a chewier pasta. The fresh rolls and garlic olive oil were tasty. First warning sign was the chocolate martini on the specials menu. A chocolate martini is not a respectable adult beverage. I ordered a Lagavulin, my favorite scotch, and I I swear it came watered down, like someone was trying to stretch the bottle. The risotto was pretty good - the scallops were delicious, and the rice was properly cooked. However, the menu said the sauce had a "tiny bit of cream" and it was covered in a cream sauce. Risotto doesn't usually have a sauce, the flavor is all in the risotto itself. Despite all that, it was an enjoyable dish. Mo's meatballs were very dry, however. All in all, it was a mixed bag. OH also there is a constant soundtrack of the most cliché Ratpack-era, red sauce joint "Italiano" music. It felt really out of place, very Buca di Beppo, not a contemporary Italian restaurant. Dean singing "Volare", "Mambo Italiano", etc., etc. The poor staff, having to work with that every day! So not necessary. read more

I booked this table for Valentine's Day and it was absolutely perfect! The restaurant really made sure to look at my reservation requests, put my partner and I at a back table in a quieter area of the restaurant due to our sensory issues, and the manager was the one to seat us, making sure to walk me through their gluten free options (some that weren't even noted on the menu!). My partner had the seafood risotto and it was absolutely delectable! The restaurant had gluten free rolls to bring out before the meal, but they were accommodating enough to make those rolls into garlic bread! And then the shrimp di frivalo was TO DIE FOR! Went here for my birthday dinner and the food was excellent. I had the Caesar salad and salmon piccata, and my bf had the caprese salad and a shrimp/chicken pasta dish with creamy tomato sauce. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The atmosphere was nice, good style and lighting. And the service was attentive. Excellent food and service! Have eaten there multiple times and it's always delicious!

The chicken franchise was pretty good, I wish the bruschetta had smaller cuts of tomatoes and had a little more oil and spicing. The carbonara was bland if there was salt on the table we would have needed to add it which you probably shouldn't need to do in a dish like that. The waitress was pretty baseline in terms of service, checked in after the app and entree came over to us but didn't offer drink refills. The place was cute and the outdoor dining balcony is cool.
