Twin Filet over garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus

Went on Valentine's Day and it was packed. Food was delicious, service was amazing, drinks were made well.

I have been to Mulino's in White Plains, NY a few times, but never here. The service was a bit slow. We waited over 35 -45 minutes for the main meal. The appetizers (salad and mussels), as well the Aperol spritz were great. So check that out. Everything we ordered was good. Some of us were dressed casual and that was fine as the dress code has changed over the years...now it looks more casual. Pretty decent sized menu to choose from.

The food is always fantastic. Service professional and prices reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I recommend any dish with risotto!

The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. The menu highlights locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavors, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Whether you're ordering seafood, steak, or one of their creative vegetarian options, the flavors are balanced and satisfying. The cocktail list is equally impressive, with well-crafted drinks that complement the menu nicely. What really sets Homestead apart is its consistency and attention to detail -- from the quality of the ingredients to the comfortable ambiance and polished service. It's the kind of place that feels special without feeling pretentious. If you're in Northampton and looking for a restaurant that blends farm-to-table quality with a welcoming atmosphere, Homestead is absolutely worth a visit.

While our table was being set up outside, we enjoyed a drink at the bar--the 15-minute wait was absolutely worth it. The outdoor setting was beautiful, with greenery creating a relaxed summer vibe and live music playing under a small tent, adding to the atmosphere. Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible. We couldn't resist finishing with the "Little Mason Jar" dessert, which was indulgent and delicious. Everything--from the service to the food to the ambiance--was exceptional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area

Amazing 3 course Dinner Deal Sunday Night!!…read more Yesterday my best friend and I ate at Spoleto and chose the Three course Dinner Deal!! For about 30 dollars we were able to pick an appetizer , entree and a desert from quite a long list of items. We both picked the same things and the meal was not only a bargain but delicious. We both had the brick oven calamari to start. The appetizer portion was perfect for one person, and the calamari was as good as I have ever had. The calamari were fresh and tender without a ton of coating...delicious. For the main entrees we picked the pecan encrusted salmon. Again, the dish was plentiful, the fish perfectly seasoned and the there was an ample arrangement of sides included. I am often disappointed when a restaurant throws a single small potato on a dish...this entree was delicious and well accompanied. Desert was tiramisu...perfectly sized as I don't always eat desert. But when it is homemade and fresh it's the best. All our plates looked good on presentation and the difference between the quality of the ingredients in Spoleto's Dinner Deal compared to a chain restaurant was very apparent. This is a must stop on a Sunday Evening! Service was also very good and we enjoyed a great recommended bottle of wine. With so many choices I will have to try this another time but easily could end up picking the same items!!

(Apr 2026) For dinner, we had a baby-spinach salad with crushed walnuts, moist dried cranberries, crumbled gorgonzola, and sweet zingy raspberry vinaigrette. And rich tender spinach, basil, and tomato tortellini, in a creamy garlic sauce. Their Mussels Fra-Diavlo were fresh tender and juicy, sauteed in garlic olive oil, with crushed red peppers and rich Pomodoro sauce. We loved their brightly-flavored chicken piccata, pan-sautéed in light fresh-tasting olive oil, with white-wine lemon-butter sauce, tasty little capers, and melt-in-your-mouth artichoke hearts. Served over creamy risotto. So good! Our server, Maybelline is the nicest best ever, with a great sense of humor. We were happy to see Dario's busy in the early evening on a Friday (Apr 2026). Their dishes are so good, each perfectly prepared and delicious. They rival any we've had in that big Olde Towne on the harbor :-). We hope that Dario's Ristorante is part of a resurgence of good food spots in this part of town.

The bruschetta was different than most, but okay. The dessert, tiramisu, was the best part of the meal. The atmosphere was lively, the decor was on the heavier darker side, which I actually prefer. Things went downhill from there though. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come by the table, and another 15 to get our menus and finally place an order. It seemed as though there were several staff on the floor, but only one was actually waiting on tables. Our server started out seemingly a bit perturbed with us, but they eased up as the evening progressed. I had a decent glass of red, and we also ardered some non-alcoholic beverages which were festive looking and tasted nice. We ordered the foccaccia appetizer. It came out just shy of burned. It was dry, bland and flat tasting, but heavily salted. I had high hopes for the the Spezzatino di Manzo, a beef stew. It may have been rich in taste at some point, but all I got from it was salt. The beef was edible but not as tender as it should have been, and what few vegetables and potatoes survived were mush or nearly pulverized. There were also quite a bit of chewy gristle. The Roasted Mushroom Risotto was unexpectedly watery and flavorless, almost soupy. The Alla Vodka Fettuccini was cooked properly, and wasn't bad, but was tomato heavy for an alla vodka. The chicken in this dish however was overcooked and dry. For dessert, we got the lemon sorbet which was perfectly fine, but it's really hard to mess up sorbet. I don't know how this place has as many stars as it does. Our experience was an expensive disappointment.
