Great service, food, and atmosphere at Mulligan's! Happy hour is awesome too. Love that there's lots of shade on the patio!

Tee Time Baby Brunch at Mulligan's Cafe If you're dreaming of the perfect baby shower, let me paint you a picture of pure brunch bliss - because Mulligan's Cafe in Santa Barbara just delivered a celebration that was nothing short of magical. From the moment guests arrived, the charm of Mulligan's set the tone. Nestled beside the greens of the Municipal golf course, the indoor space offered a cool yet sun lit setting that felt both intimate and festive. The staff welcomed everyone with warm smiles and seamless service, making the entire event feel effortless. The Star of the Show: The Brunch Spread The buffet was a breakfast lover's paradise. Fluffy, golden waffles -fresh off the iron - were served with maple syrup. Crispy bacon and perfectly scrambled eggs added savory balance, while the cafes signature breakfast potatoes with biscuits and gravy brought a satisfying crunch. Endless coffee, mimosas, and Mulligan's Arnold Palmer to toast the mom-to-be Whether you're planning a baby shower, birthday brunch, or just a weekend gathering, Mulligan's Cafe proves that great food, thoughtful service, and a stunning location are the recipe for unforgettable memories. Five stars, big smiles, and one very happy mama-to-be. Thank you specifically to Melissa and Danielle who made all my baby shower dreams come true!

What a great place to go for breakfast or anytime good food, good prices and the waitress are super nice too! And the view seating outside is really nice too

Fat on the right, meat upper left. Not so Prime Rib

I am very sad having to write this review as I have never been disappointed with their food. But... as a trusted Elite Reviewer I am compelled to be fair on ALL my reviews, not just positive ones. I chose Mulligsn's for their incredible baby back ribs. But when my friendand I saw they had a prime rib special, neither of us could resist. When we were served, my jaw dropped to the floor. You will see by the pictures, that it was half fat!!!! We had to ask for an extra side plate to put the fat on. It took me a long time to cut it all out and off. By then, my food was cold. Thinking back, I should have refused it at $33.99! Darn. The baked potato had about a teaspoon of sour cream. The wait staff was so busy we didn't ask for more. The best part of dinner was their banana cream pie. Yum. I filled up a to-go box with the fat and gave it to two gentlemen for their doggies. At least THEY enjoyed it! I hope you have a strong stomach when you see the plate of fat. My friend and I both agreed we would never order that again! We were so disappointed. It was actually nauseating. Trust me, get the baby back ribs!

I moved near Muni-Golf Course and remembered that Mulligans served up some good food. Popped in for a Sunday breakfast. Had some great service and food. The views of the golf course from the patio were great. This a great little spot. Come check it out! Also. Some Serious Senior Discounts available if you fall into that category.

Where's my Spicy Avocado Cheese Burger I paid for? This burger on the right is a Cheeseburger which is cheaper than the one I ordered
    Jennifer K.

I ordered a spicy avocado burger to go and came home to find that I got only a cheeseburger burger! I paid an extra $5 dollars for a burger I didn't get and I also paid tip.....ugh wasted money! And every cent counts with inflation these days so right now I'm pretty upset and don't want to drive back and waste gas either. I should have opened and made sure my food was correct like I usually do but today I didn't feel like it and well I paid the price for it.

Horrible quality of food!! Enchiladas with rice, which I didn't order. Bacon and cheddar potato skins that looked like a pile of slop!

I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous desserts like the orange, mango guava, limoncello, yogurt berry square cake, yuzu curd with blueberries and coconut, and lemon raspberry tart. These little works of art were not only gorgeous but tasted delicious as well! Their pastries are also a must. I love their Bacon Cheddar Chive Scone! Their Squash Blossom pastry is seasonal, but I hope they bring it back because it is so good. I'm also huge fan of their brunch! Their Blue Crab Crepe is incredible. If you're only going to get one entree for brunch, get this one! It comes with two delicate crepes, the tastiest lemon hollandaise, chives, and lots of crab meat inside! Soo good! The Duck Confit Hash was another winner. It comes with crispy potatoes, hollandaise, pickled fresno chile, cilantro, and poached egg. I enjoyed the Parmesan, sundried tomato, and basil quiche as well! They also offer a Seasonal Handcut Pasta Dish which changes. It's from Aperitivo, and they make such good fresh pasta! The Lemon Spaghetti Pasta I had during my visit was spot on. Definitely worth visiting!

They sell lots of flavors of Turkish coffee, and I was used to a sweetened and cardamon flavored version I had had in Egypt, Jordan and Israel, so I opted for the cardamon version. They have a myriad of flavors here, using various Middle Eastern nuts and spices as flavoring. They have the traditional cubed gelatin version, along with a rolled version that is a little softer and less chewy. It is all sold by weight, so you can mix and match.

We tried multiple other places that didn't have outdoor seating (so not dog friendly), but then we found Caje on State Street. It's on a protected set of streets where there are lots of shops and stores. There's common outdoor seating just outside the store, which met our objective of hanging out with the dog. Granted it was a hot day, but this store was really really hot inside, like unpleasantly so. I felt bad for the barista! The coffee is reasonably priced, all things considered (fancy flavors, Santa Barbara, crowded location) and the flavor was nice and not one I've personally had before. I asked to go light on the ice and they did a good job there. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was all fine. Good place to stop and relax and have a good tasting coffee.

Most of our group seemed to be okay with their coffee choices, but overall no one was overly enthusiastic about their drink so we'd say it's about average. I ordered the iced chai latte and it was probably the worst drink I've had at a coffee shop. It was pretty much a big glass of milk with some chai spices mixed in. Very disappointing. I ended up throwing most of it away. Their staff was okay, but nothing stood out about their service so the experience here overall was pretty mediocre at best.
