I will come here again. 4.3 miles from home. Indigo is across a parking lot from a strip mall with grocery store. The facility is pleasant and comfortable. Everything looks new. The staff is courteous, efficient, pleasant. I was always told what would happen next. I was here on a Monday as a walk-in. I was given a wait time of 90 minutes. The "paper work" arrived on my mobile phone which I completed. Rather than wait there, the check-in person would call me about 15 minutes before my waiting-list opening. After I got home, I was called and given a firm appointment time. The labs were quick. Saw the Doc. Rx was called in to my pharmacy. My Rx was ready for pick-up before I got home. This is a great alternative to going to the ER. My husband has used this clinic for different needs and it is a lot better than sitting in an ER. It is a very inviting environment and staff here are so compassionate in what they do. They even offer a snack during your visit : water, juice , nuts or crackers. That was a very kind gesture to keep patient and family comfortable as they prepare to see doctor. They offer virtual visits as well. I have used them virtually through the Solv app. It is very user friendly and medical provided is just as friendly and kind. After visit's medication is sent to your preferred pharmacy. We recommend trying it if you do not have an emergency but feeling sick or hurt yourself. read more

This is by far my favorite Indigo I've been to. Overall the best urgent care as well. Staff is always kind and welcoming and I feel heard here. I've visited other Indigo clinics and received subpar treatments. I always find myself coming back here in the end. Thank you to everyone here for always helping me feel my best as soon as possible. If you're on Aetna Insurance, stay away. I came here after confirming with multiple people at this facility that Aetna Insurance, which is the insurance I'm under through my job, was covered here, but a giant bill later revealed to me that this whole facility and ALL of their services are out of network, and I was lied to. Do not trust what their attendants say. Don't trust what their site says. They probably are lying about taking other insurances, too. After visits by both myself and the spouse in the past two weeks, I am surprised by so many negative reviews. Our visits definitely fit into the category of what clinics like this serve, and our experiences were positive. Spouse urged me on a Saturday night to try getting into urgent care for the following day. He had visited Indigo for a similar respiratory issue a week before and had been impressed with the ability to schedule and handle all of the advance paperwork online. I was impressed they had Sunday hours and was able to book and submit all of my information through the system they use (Solv) which also has an app. I arrive about 15 minutes before my appointment, paid my copay and was informed of the wait time, which would be by my appointment time. You can also track the waitlist online, which is helpful. After I checked in I received an email to connect to the clinic's MyChart, which I can now view in the MyChart app, along with my other medical records. I am mentioning a lot of tech convenience, which may not feel as accessible to everyone, but it's important to note that spouse and aren't exceptionally tech savvy, and found this all pretty easy to navigate. I was taken to an exam room on time and had my basic vitals taken and a description of symptoms. A few minutes later I was given an X-ray and by the time I was dressed the ARNP came in for the exam. She was attentive, friendly and informative. She sent prescriptions out for me and let me know she would do a further consultation of the X-ray, which showed up in MyChart by the time I got home (it confirmed the ARNP's assessment). I was out of the clinic within an hour and home with my prescriptions within 2.5 hours. Our household will definitely continue to use this Indigo site for our urgent care needs. read more

We had an OK visit awhile back at this clinic when it was just my daughter's sore hand. The next visit I was really dissapointed. I was in severe pain for my gout with my foot and made an appt. for a weekend date to have it looked at. Friday night I was feeling so bad I thought maybe I would try a walk in and wait appt. I went in and lobby was empty. They said it was a 3 hr wait. I was unsure why and looked in pain and at the front desk was a receptionist and Dr. standing there and no patients waiting. The Dr asked me what I needed and I told him my situation and he said there was no medicine he could offer me or any comfort or anything he could do for me, so basically I would be wasting my time waiting in an empty waiting room for 3 hrs. I canceled the next day appt online when I got home and felt very ignored and still needed to see a Dr, but realized it was no use at that clinic. If it's something simple like a cut or bruised knee, you might be ok, but if you really feel terrible, don't go there. read more

The guy who checked me in was very nice but told us we would have a 30 minute wait. Then they told us we have were next in line about 6 times. The girl Christina was incredibly loud, unprofessional and horrible patient care. She absolutely raised her voice to tell me I needed to take my sick child to a children's hospital if I was concerned. She gave me an attitude and I had to take my very sick, vomiting child home because after an hour and a half (though I was told it would be 30 minutes) she told me she didn't know how long it would be anymore. read more

Not really seeing how this place is for urgent care. I checked online before I left home, the website said that walk-ins were welcome, and that there were 3 people ahead of me. I get there and there were more like 7, and that's only those I could see. When it was my turn to check in, the receptionist seemed kind, polite and caring, but also said it was very likely that I wouldn't be seen today. She noted my phone number and said that they'd send me a text if something opened up and I could come back, but that they were closing in 3 hours so it would likely be tomorrow at best. So if you really do need urgent care, save yourself some time and skip MultiCare Indigo. read more

The staff at the Burien clinic were faced with an overload of people wanting care and handled themselves with grace and professionalism. They demonstrated concern for everyone coming in the door and went about their work as efficiently as possible. I felt Covid-safe and competently cared for. Billing was a snap. The kind front desk person brought me coffee while I was waiting for X-ray results - very nice. This was my third visit to two different clinics and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Insult to injury! Went in for pink eye. The doctor told me to go to the ER for PINK EYE! Didn't get any antibiotics or care other than to tell me to go to the ER. Which I didn't because my kids had pink eye so was pretty sure it wasn't that serious.... So then I got a bill that I tried to pay several times (apparently Multicare doesn't accept payment via a HSA card in 'Pay my Provider'. My insurance cut Multicare a check and mailed it which was cashed BEFORE final notice and THEN Multicare sent me to collections!!! WTF. Insult to injury! Called Multicare to try and get to the bottom of the check that was cashed by their bank (JP Morgan Chase) and I requested to be called back once Multicare could verify what's going on with the cashed check. She said no and then hung up on me. Of course I was frustrated but not once did I raise my voice or get crazy with language - this has been a HUGE waste of time between calling back and forth between the insurance company and Multicare, and then being sent to collections all for an office visit that gave zero help. Omg!!!! I called after a flight frightened about my ear. Major anxiety!!I thought I had pushed a scab or something small further in my ear. I thought I had to wait. I'm a flight attendant- I needed to fly the next day. I was taken to a waiting room immediately, I literally was seen and out in under 30. I had just been to my ENT and the wait there is months... I forgot the awesome man that answered the phone- he put my mind at ease from the moment he picked up the phone. The receptionist greeted me with amazing kindness....Sejela and the provider Sweta were amazing!!! Mentally they took a load off, as I left on a 3 day and didn't sleep well. It was just dry skin. She adjusted what I was doing as my ears had dried- there was loose dry skin- it was easily removed and she sent me to purchase debox and stop the regimen that caused the drying. I went home and slept well, and the itching is relieved. On my way out, the attendants in the aft office truly cared, were so kind professional and encouraging. They treated me like family!!! I had an appointment at 2:00. They put me in a room at 2:30. At 3:30 they came in to say it'd be quite awhile longer because they had emergency cases that came in. Called this am and inquired about making an appointment- "no appointment necessary sir it's walk in!" I drove to the tukwila location- closed. Google maps had them as open. Ok- I called again, nice lady on phone apologized and said yes that locale is closed. She sent me to Burien. Arrived there and had a curt receptionist explain to me to come back in 5 hours. I said that "I thought it was walk in- why do I have to come back in 5 hours? Why don't they say that on the phone?" She explained to me people Like to walk in and make the appointment then go shopping. I replied I could have made an appointment and slept in. I'm never going back to this indigo operation. (Story ended great- called Franciscan across the road in Burien and they said it's walk in- I walked in and was at a doc in 5 minutes! Went to see my new doctor for my yearly check up. The doctor had me get some blood work done which came back with high PSA numbers. He said I would need an appointment with a urologist and that the front desk would set me get me a referral to see one. After about three or four days I went by and asked the front desk when I would get my referral. Front desk ladies said it is on hold for my insurance to approve. A few more days went by and I asked the same question and they gave me the same answer (lie). Then I called my insurance company blue cross and they said they have not received anything from Multicare and they don't need anything from MultiCare. They said I have a PPO and the "Traditional Plan" they said I don't need a referral. I shared this over the phone with the nice ladies at Mutlicare and amazingly 30 minutes later I had a referral. Oh wait, it gets a little better. I then called the referred doctor Linda Hsu office (in Seattle) and they said why did you call us we don't have your referral yet. I said it was only approved 30 minutes ago and I was following the instruction on the referral, which said "If you don't already have an appointment, please make an appointment." That rude lady said she would call me. Here we are about five days later and no call. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to the urologist (Dr Caruso) office two blocks from my house in Burien and they were happy to make me an appointment without a referral. Jessica was very nice and helpful - multicare should shadow Jessica and take notes. My appointment is one week from today . Not bad, much faster than relying on MulitCare Indigo in Burien. Then I went back to MultiCare Inigio in Burien and asked them to cancel my referral to Dr Linda Hsu and explained to them that I don't need I referral and called them on their claim they were held by my Blue Cross insurance. MultiCare Indigo clearly are not keeping the patient's best interest in mind. 1) Why say you are waiting for my insurance to approve a referral that you did not request and is not needed. What if this was for something important my issue is only elevated PSA number which I think will turn out to be noting. 2) why send me to Seattle when I live within a 1/2 mile of MultiCare and two blocks from the urologist Looking forward to my appointment with Dr C Smith and see if he is aware that his front desk needing some training. I came into the clinic about 4 weeks ago, with what turned out to be bronchitis. The office is clean and I was the only person waiting. I only waited for about 15 minutes and got right in. The girl at the front desk was pleasant, however not very talkative. Like she didn't really explain the process. Since it was my first time in, I had not idea how this place worked. After sitting in the waiting area and listening to her on the phone, I figured it out pretty quick. The nurse/assistant took my vitals, then put me in a room to see the physical. Dr. Lawrence Ready, PA-C came in, introduced himself and ask me what my symptoms were. After examining me, he sent me on my way with meds and a note for a few days off. On the quick I would definitely come back in. However, I do understand that waiting time is hit or miss and you should be prepared for that. read more

ATTENTION: DEAF PEOPLE - Do not go to this place. This experience have terrible for me. I'm shocked at their process. I called on phone call with asl interpreter to let them know that I'll come in 15 min ahead to informed that I would like to have asl interpreter so they can prepare for when I'm here. After arrival and to find out they don't provide asl interpreter and rather me to send ER right away. I don't need ER unless I have been diagnose by doctor. They already wanted to call ambulance on me which I'm fine and rather to check in with doctor first before going to ER. They VIOLATED ADA law by not proving asl interpreter access for doctor visit so I was really disappointed in that way and decided to go another urgent care which they have provided great experience for me. This probably was the worst experience going to Indigo. I made an appointment for Tuesday, August 3rd. All paperwork done online but when I arrived, they needed my ID and insurance to complete everything. Told I was early, okay. My appointment was for 1:40pm and by 2:35pm, had not been seen. When I first walked in, was informed two walk-ins ahead of me. The young woman at the front desk was nice, took quite a while to return my ID and insurance cards but finally did. There is a young man, Art is his name...I believe. This young man was loud, conversing with a woman who works there as well, I presume, the doctor discussing patients and what brought them in. This is all happening while Art is at the front desk and the doctor(?) is behind the wall partition. The young woman walked away but told me that they were getting a room ready and would let me know, shouldn't be too much longer. Great. Art approached me and asked for my ID. When I asked why, he told me that the young woman had not done the update in the computer, this would make everything go a lot quicker. He also took the other woman's ID, again, who came in after me. She was also checked in by the young woman. Seemed like he made himself extremely important. While this was frustrating for me, what was most bothersome was the fact that patients issues were shared in the open while others were in the waiting area. I believe that there is to be some discretion, could be wrong. Art told people who walked in, a mother and her daughter; a young man who inhaled something and was feeling not so great, that no more appointments were available but could call them later and be here in five minutes they receive his call or make an appointment for tomorrow or go somewhere else. I'm not certain if he was just a receptionist or thought he was trying to be a doctor but the unprofessional conduct of this person was over the top. There was another woman who had an appointment after me and she asked how much longer. He totally ignored her question. After sitting there over an hour, I decided to leave...cancel the appointment. If this urgent care is what is available to people who really don't need the ER, then there is a problem. Art deciding that the mother and her daughter could come back the next day, was not a good idea or wait for him to call or text. I'm not certain if she came back later but her daughter had a swollen face and a very bad rash on her face. If anything, someone should have stated that the little girl needed to be seen and sorry for the delay. I could have gone with that. Art is overbearing and apparently everyone at that clinic believe he walks on water, which he does not. The being overly loud, ignoring a person's question, maybe it had something to do with being older, having gray hair who knows. I won't go back. I've seen other comments and people rave about how great the staff is. This clinic is not any better than the Immediate Care that was there previously. Show professionalism, be quiet about others issues, the doctor(?) and front staff do not need to be conversing back and forth, go to the back if necessary or pick a room. I hope that Art decides to pursue another career, like a circus barker, that's how loud he was. I get that trying to impress others is important and apparently more so to him. The goal of going to urgent care is to be seen for a non emergent issue and for the staff to ask pertinent questions and move on. My time like anyone else's is important. Nothing impressive about this clinic. Not really certain why scheduling an appointment is really no different than a walk in, just that a time was reserved. Truly does not make a difference. Suggestion, don't go there. If you do, I hope you can take the wait and the additional dissertation on other's various illnesses and complaints. read more

They advertise that you can walk in, I was told there was no line. They lied, there were 6 people ahead of me. Your supposed to fill out paperwork on line. Their system doesn't work. I haven't even seen a "doctor" yet and this place is terribly mismanaged. Hopefully my "treatment" won't kill me. Would not recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else if you value your life and limbs.also they are taking people out of order. Yeah supposedly there people have more "important" issues. But they seem to be able to walk in fine. This place is awful. But one doesn't have much choice. So one is stuck getting substandard care at substandard facilities. Ok I waited outside for a bit, was told I would be texted when it was my turn. Now I see that they have taken back people that came in after me. Am stuck here because I need an X-ray. This place is HORRIBLE! Another person who came I. After me has just been taken back. Love how they help people in pain Ok they only have one provider, people are being told it's a 5 hour wait. I've had bad experiences with UC clinics before and was ready to be treated like a nuisance by everyone upon arrival. I was blown away by how KIND and UNDERSTANDING everyone was. The front desk was a little brisk but honestly that's because it's a busy medical office. They don't have time to slow down if they want to get everyone processed and back to the medical team. They were still welcoming and fast at getting paperwork processed and insurance checked! The wait was just as quoted. Just about an hour from walk in until I had discharge papers. Everyone introduced themselves upon meeting you. Absolutely outstanding bedside manners by the admitting nurses aid and the nurse practitioner on staff that day. I love that the NP introduced herself by her first name and I could tell she understood my concerns, even though most were driven by my anxiety flaring up at the time. Needing urgent care is scary and frustrating at times. I'm relieved that this spot is so well operated and staffed. I can't thank them enough for taking good care of me and giving me their expert advice without sounding condescending or as if my health concerns were bothering them. I pray I won't need these services again but the peace of mind I have that I've got somewhere to go when my PCP is backed up or my health starts trolling me is priceless. read more

I had an excellent experience here this week. From past experience I knew I probably had a bladder infection and needed a test and prescription. Fortunately an appointment was available and I reserved online. Check-in was easy and prompt, as was being seen by an assistant. Both she and the doctor were caring and efficient. I realize I was lucky the office was not busy that morning so I was in and out quickly. The professionalism of the staff was excellent and I will not hesitate to use this location again. Absolutely horrible. I went in for a skin issue but while there I got chest pains and low oxygen levels. The Dr was really stern and said "we don't have time for other health problems" like I had a choice. I started crying because I was alone and scared. The nurse then told me to knock it off, she didn't have time for me to be upset, she was trying to do an EKG. Then after all that, the Dr sent me home with an abnormal EKG, and never ended up calling in the prescription for my skin issue. Horrible!! read more

This is the second time in the past 6 months that someone from my family has been to this Urgent care and has been told basically to leave due to there being a 2 hour wait. I have also heard the same exact thing from others who have been there recently.My wife was in extreme pain today and told they were unable to help her, told her there was a 2 hour wait and she might not get seen today, and that she could make an appointment for tomorrow, and refused to even take a copy of her insurance.And of course it was the same lady. Thank god there is Franciscan Prompt Care down the street who are always willing to do their job and assist people in need of immediate assistance. I have been to this clinic twice. Once with my elderly mother and once with my adult son. With my mother, they charged medicare for all sorts of procedures they never performed. My mother"s primary Dr. alerted me to this fact. A couple years later I took my adult son to the same clinic for a tetanus shot. I called the clinic before I took him in to find out the cost since he has no insurance. They gave me a price over the phone. We went in to get the shot. I paid with a credit card and left. A month or so later I received a bill from the clinic for $133.00 more. I contacted the billing department. They told me to write an email to dispute the charge. When they got back to me another couple months later they told me that the clinic manager had said that "I wasn't able to pay the bill at the time so I agreed to be billed later." That was an outright lie. That never happened. Do not go to this clinic. They scam people on Medicare and people without insurance. read more

I should have known from the minute I called and got the one person in the world who should NEVER be allowed near a phone to help people in crisis. Maybe it should have been made clear during phone training 101 that part of the job description is to be helpful when someone calls who is ill and in need of a kind heart. I wonder if the opening line on his resume stated "Snarky individual with amazing ability to make demeaning comments seeking job" Why do we NEVER listen to our gut instincts? I could hear my inner being screaming at me GO TO THE ER!!!! Did I listen uh....no. I should have gone to the ER. I made an appointment at 12 40....joined the waitlist at 9 30 just in case I could get in earlier. As Mr Wonderful instructed I watched the wait list with bated breath. Mostly because my asthma was kicked up to defcon red and I have a raging bronchial issue going on. For hours I watched my phone. I never moved from 10th place.I called and (lucky me)got Mr Wondeful again. I asked him if I had been placed on the waitlist. In his most superior tone he informed me that I was on the waitlist but I should just plan on coming in at scheduled time and be prepared to wait. He reminded me (for the 8th time) that this was urgent care and this was how it worked. So I drag my broken sick self down to urgent care. Appt at 12 40 well I am a team player so I showed up at 12 20. See I have worked in the med field in a clinic setting for 12 years. I am always the early patient. Big mistake! I checked in...and waited....There is an art to avoiding eye contact and these people definitely got high marks in the avoidance classes. If you don't acknowledge a person by making eye contact then you dont have to be accountable for how that ill person is treated. I could practically be dying in the lobby and no one would notice. I did get to witness some inappropriate behavior from a male staff member to a newer female staff member. He was really gross and a major douche. She handled herself well and shut him down. But I digress. It is 1:30 and I finally get up the energy to ask when I might get to be seen. At this time I am met with a surprised look of "your still here? or maybe it was your still alive?!" But that finally got me called back. The MA took my weight asked if I had been out of the country....exposed to covid....taken a covid test....etc. But before iI was even asked what I was being seen for or any vitals taken to see if I was in acute distress she comes at me with "Oh by the way you have not met your deductible for the year so we need you to pay 200.00 before you can be seen. So you mean to tell me you know exactly where I am at in my quest to reach my family deductible but it takes you 4 hours to get someone seen. And I was the lucky one...there was a woman who had been in their lobby since 8 30AM. I am heading home now without being seen. I am going to Google home remedies and try to get my symptoms under control. Is it just me or has the medical field lost it's moral compass? read more

I wanted to schedule a COVID test for my son, but when I called, the rep assumed that it was an elective test... that the visit wouldn't be billed to insurance, and I'd have to pay $200 out pocket... all before I could I even ask my question. We went into the clinic on Sunday, 6/23/19. The receptionist was kind; however, she advised us our insurance could not be verified as active. Because it was a Sunday, we could not reach our insurance company. We ended up paying the full amount of $175. My husband was in a lot of pain and this was the quickest and closest location to us. When we called our insurance company on 6/24, they reached out to the clinic and discovered they were unaware of a specific website and logon they needed to verify whether or not a beneficiary had active insurance. This is quite concerning, considering the clinic is part of the multicare organization. Perhaps it was just a training issue? Our insurance representative was advised to contact the billing department and she spoke with Jennifer. Jennifer assured her she would call me to refund me the difference from what we paid vs what our copay was. Unfortunately, I never received a call back. I submitted an email to immediate clinic today requesting assistance and follow through. I'm waiting. I look forward to having this rectified. I'm just trying to understand why be an urgent care, but solely care only for patients with appointments? The purpose of an urgent care is to see patients for concerns that aren't life threatening, and we obviously don't know when they're going to happen hence why I didn't call to schedule an appointment. How does someone schedule ahead for a concern they didn't know was going to happen? Why punish a patient for that? But to walk in to an urgent care, to be told we needed to wait over 3 hours for the appointments to be completed prior to seeing walk ins? After being told there are no patients currently in the building for their appointments, but we still had to wait for all 5 to be seen? Seriously? I work in health care, so I COMPLETELY understand appointments having sole priority, but not in an urgent care setting.. it's ridiculous. If the patient is there, see the patient, don't have them wait the full time for people who aren't even guaranteed to come in because patients no show appointments all the time. So, if you feel like wanting to be placed on the back burning for an urgent care visit, then come here. If not, I suggest going to the Franciscan Prompt Care that's kiddy corner from here. They got us in and out in less than 2 hours. read more

Next time I'm just going to the ER. Seriously, if you've got anything more than a bad cold, and your doctor isn't open, find another solution. I came in here with a crushed foot that a car fell on. I had to fill out a decent amount of paperwork, wait quite a while, and when I asked the front desk guy how much longer it would be I got excuses and a snippy attitude. I understand there was a line, and they were short-staffed, but in my condition I really didn't care much. After I got taken it back, the attitudes changed considerably. People were more pleasant, and they seemed more interested in getting me looked over and out of there. While I've had worse experiences before, and I realize that my perception was very colored by the fact that I was in a decent amount of pain, I just wasn't terribly happy with the result. I'm not likely to repeat the experience in the future. If I'm going to wait, I'll do it in the Emergency Room my Primary Care Physician is affiliated with. read more

Literally the worst immediate care clinic. If it's immediate care why do I have to make an appointment???

I never thought i would write a positive review for anything medical, but it is good that i get the chance at least once in this lifetime. Visiting from another city, I hurt my back. made an online appt (highly recommend), and after the paperwork was quickly handled. The RN, PA, and receptionist were not beaming lights of joy, but were efficient, and good at their jobs. I was diagnosed, treated (shot), and while i waited for possible reactions they efficiently called my scripts in to a pharmacy across the street. All said and done, i was processed in 55 minutes including prescription pick up. who needs smile with edfixiency like that. read more
