This morning my 2 1/2 -year-old son dislocated his elbow and had excruciating pain in his wrist I've never seen my son in so much pain and wasn't sure what to do my sister and other people had told me about indigo care and I wasn't wanting to spend 5 1/2 hours at Saint Pete's hospital as usual. Upon arriving to the Tumwater location they directed me to the Lacey location because of the x-ray technician there. They made an appointment for me and asked the other location if they could get me in sooner than my appointment. The MultiCare indigo care in Lacey was amazing! The customer service from the front and the nurse that triaged my son was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The nurse put an ice pack on his area of pain and It wasn't long before the physician assistant Teresa saw my son and treated him immediately. Teresa knew exactly what was wrong with him and fixed his dislocated elbow. She also gave him and icicle ice cream pop and some stickers. It was incredible how fast he was healed *and was able* to attend school. Office staff does not know how to view or process insurance. Tried to bill me for a $200+ copay even though a month before I went to the same urgent care and 100% was paid by insurance. Instead of listening the front desk is focused on different ways to say no. I will never try to work with Multicare for my urgent care needs. Well turns out I had COVID, so that made this a little less enjoyable. BUT I will say that they made me feel welcome and cared for from the second I walked in. The nurse Sarah offered me coffee as soon as I walked in and was so kind. The receptionist got me checked in quick, and the doctor got all my vitals and gave me reassurance. I have had many experiences with walk ins and this was by far the best, would definitely recommend. read more

Wow, if I could give them a zero star, I would. Stay clear of the office in Lacey at Hawks Prairie because they don't know what they are doing. First, they billed my insurance incorrectly so now I have a bill to pay. May I add that I received a bill ONE YEAR after my visit. Second, the PA I saw was very rude and and insensitive. Third, she gave the patient who was in front of me their prescription instead of mine. Would NOT recommend this clinic at all. I am now currently trying to sort out insurance after one year. Their system is great. I checked in and they gave me a hour wait time. I left and 45 minutes later I received a message my room was ready. It was nice to get some chores in during that wait time. The facility is modern and immaculate and the staff were great. read more

Zero stars if I could. complaints go nowhere. doctors charge 20 minutes for saying they don't have enough time to take care of the issue and you need to go to primary care and wait for dermatology. Come to find out the urgent care doc was too lazy or time crunched with only little ol me to care for in the entire clinic that day and just did not want to do what needed to be done. primary care did it five excruciating days later and urgent care still charged me over $200 to take my blood pressure. I paid primary care $250 to do the ACTUAL work. Doctor at Indigo actually told me if I were in my own practice and had thirty minutes available, I could take care of them for you today. oh, okay? so I call patient financial services and it is just lip service for corporate medical BS. if you dont pay, they'll send you to collections and if you do pay, they get rewarded for being useless fiends. never again. read more

I love that Indigo moves people In and out quickly, but frankly this last time it was to my detriment. I had a very painful mass on my back that needed to be taken care of. After touching it briefly, the doctor said t was for 100% sure a lipoma and my primary care doctor could maybe take care of it in office or refer me to dermatology or plastic surgery for removal. after five incredibly painful days where I could barely move, I went to my appointment with my primary care office and the PA drained what was, in fact, a nasty cyst and took care of the wound. I can actually stand being alive for the first time in a week and this all should have been done by Urgent Care facility five days ago. I WILL be fighting the bill I get for this visit. For absolutely certain. I have been taken care of by Indigo for various reasons and always been happy. I really needed help and medical care and was basically turned away so a quick visit summary could be claimed. read more

I needed a referral for a specific procedure and did not have a primary care physician, so I went to the Yelm Hwy Indigo Urgent Care (IUC). The PA or Nurse Practioner (I apologize for not remembering her credentials) who saw me that day was very kind and helpful and gave me the referral I needed. But it was what happened afterward that made the biggest impression on me. I went to my "special" appointment at another facility...and the results were not what I'd hoped for. Additional tests were required...needless to say, that information wound up on my Multicare online chart, which of course, the folks at IUC can also see. It had already been 2 months since my visit to Urgent Care. But that night, I got a call from the on duty PA or NP (Again, Apologies for not catching her credentials either) Leslie, who wanted to check on me after reading my results. It was well after closing but she said she felt she needed to reach out. She talked to me about the findings, answered questions that I had, and made sure that I was (emotionally) OK. Leslie was not the person who originally saw me, but she reached out anyway. She didn't have to do that, but she has no idea what an impact it had on me during such a scary, lonely time. She genuinely cared about someone she'd never even met, and I will never be able to thank her enough for taking the time to make that call. I just hope she knows how wonderful she is! Took my son there because he sliced his thumb open. My fiancé and I were there, and I was on the phone with the place my son is having his birthday party the following day. She kept asking ONLY me questions while I was on the phone when my fiancé was right there. Like she didn't trust his answers or wasn't capable of answering her questions. Then she said could stitch him up but he's little and he might move around so she kept pushing the fact to go to another place where they can "sedate" my son so they can do the procedure. She basically didn't want to do it, but made it sound like he would do better at the address they provided. Come to find out, she sends us to another Urgent Care that does NOT sedate the children, just numb their finger and sew them up like what the nurse from Indigo said she could have done. So the nurse from Indigo Urgent Care basically lied cause she didn't want to do the procedure and made us drive further out cause again, she didn't want to do it. My fiancé and I are very nice people and wouldn't start an argument or anything, so when we left Indigo Urgent Care, we politely thanked them left. But we were NOT happy. read more

Showed up at 2:45pm as a walk in and was put on the standby list and was told we would get a text message to be seen and wait time is 3 hours. Checked the portal with updates and was next in line with no other patients ahead. It is now 6:30pm and Get a notification that it was canceled. Went back in to the front desk and questioned why it was canceled. Front desk said a text message was sent. Showed proof that there was none sent. Mind you were were sitting in our vehicle directly at the entrance door. As we were told to have a seat and they will be with us shortly. 5 min goes by and they come bearing bad news that they are unable to care for our needs due to being backed up and it's close to closing time. Look around the room with 1 patient sitting in the waiting area. So tell me where this "backed up" with patients are?? Very poor service and poor communication!! I would never go back again and go straight to the ER if "Urgent Care" is needed. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS. If you're military or retired please go elsewhere and save some time. Now off to the BBB to put in my complaints. read more

The web says they take walk ins, but when we tried I was told "by appointment only." That's not a walk in policy. That's a regular doctor's office. I'm not sure how they can have the words urgent care in their name. It's very disappointing that they haven't figured out how to operate as an actual urgent care during this time. read more

My 7 year old isn't feeling well. Walked in at 6:45pm and the lady at the front desk asked us what was going on, what we needed to be seen for. Told her my little one wasn't feeling well, he's been coughing and wheezing. She then said, sorry they were no longer taking anymore patients for the day. (They close at 8:00pm) Why even ask me what I needed to be seen for if you knew you weren't taking anymore patients for the day. And why is the cut off time more than an hour before close? Had no problem with the cliniciAn but the front medical assistant sucked!! I asked to change my script to somewhere closer to my home as it was early Sunday morning and no pharmacies were open when I was done and she acted like she had a problem with that and told me no pharmacies are open til 10am!! Not true, the pharmacy down the street from me opened at 9a.m! Then she waited til the last minute to change my pharmacy preference causing me to have to wait til 1pm before I could get my antibiotic!! Mind you I was at urgent care at 8:30am!! So this place will tell you to do an e visit which is covered by only a handful of plans, cost is $40. They will tell you they don't take walk-ins but 3 hours before closing they absolutely will take a walk in. Don't call, just show up! Save $40. The staff will roll their eyes and be the most unpleasant experience but save yourself the cash. P.S. I am a front line healthcare worker in this pandemic and THIS is how MultiCare has chosen to be respectful of my service. Absolute garbage! read more

I'm writing this as Stephen's wife. Without going into too much detail, PA Leslie LITERALLY saved my husband's life. She actually listened to us and was as thorough as she could be with the examination. She recognized his symptoms (which many doctors would have dismissed) and sent us to the ER stat! The ER told us that if we had not come in when we did, he would have been dead by morning. I shudder to think that had we not gone to Urgent Care, I would be a grieving widow today. Went in for the first time this morning, and I'm so impressed! More than adequate parking, got checked in quickly and was even offered a beverage while I waited (and the tea was great BTW). The office is so clean, and everything seemed very efficient. All of the staff made sure I understood what they were doing each step of the way and the nurse practitioner made sure to answer all of my questions thoroughly and never made me feel dumb or rushed. Came in Saturday morning for the first time. There was no wait and those that came in after me were all checked in quickly and helped promptly. Quick, professional, clean and convenient! Didn't feel rushed when answering their questions. Staff was friendly, courteous,and helpful. Didn't feel judged or anything negative from the staff here. Staff conversation over heard was job related and professional. Great clinic and available on weekends. Definitely will come again next time I need urgent care. Had great service here. Making an online appointment as a guest was super easy, and I was able to get an appointment right away. The tech who brought me in was great, as was the doctor who saw me. I want in and out in under 40 minutes - and that includes registration and chest x-rays. They called two days later to follow up and gave really helpful advice! Service was outstanding, came in 5 minutes before closing with my daughter who was very sick. They offered me something to drink and I asked, " do you ask all the patients here for refreshments or you just being super nice??" I was in a car accident. I went to the clinic at 7:55. The receptionist made it very clear she was greatly annoyed that I walked in. I received zero compassion and she kept trying to find Mr in their system even after I told her I wasn't in it. I was in pain and she just kept saying things like "Do you still live on Crescent?" She had my license in front of her. Finally I just left, but I forgot my license (or she forgot to give it to me is more like it). I went back in the morning to get it and they'd lost it. Finally after 20 minutes they found it. I will never go back there. It clearly has communication problems. They need to retrain the front desk. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called them twice to make an appt to be tested for Covid-19 and both times I was hung up on. So I drove there to go get tested because "they accept walk-ins" and was immediately turned away before taking 3 steps into building. The man behind the desk was short with me and could hardly recommend any other place nearby to be tested. I will never even attempt to reach out to this branch again. What horrible people! I call the clinic at 7:50pm because my 3 year old had 105 temperature. The woman on the phone advised they close at 8:00. I told her I'm on my way, throw the kid into the car and sped all the way there. I arrive at 8:01 abd the door is locked. She comes to the window and shakes her head. I told her I was the one that called and begged for them to see my daughter. She said no because it's the rules. I said I appreciate what you do and that you are all over worked right now (during covid 19) but please! My daughter is really sick and I'm only 1 minute late. She replied "it's 8:02." Then I got furious. "Who the fuck cares if it's 8:01 or 8:02?" I left. In the morning I called to make an appointment. She asked if I had been there the previous day. I told her I'd arrived at 8:01 and they refused to see my child. To which she replied. "It was 8:02 and it was me you were talking to." (Again what's the difference of a minute?!) She said we were not welcome there. I asked for a supervisor and she refused and ended the call. To me this is a huge lack of care or concern especially in her line of work. Where's the humanity? Took my son here today at 8am and was out by 835am. The staff here are excellent and very caring. My son is 6 years old and Dat took such good care of him and took him step by step when he was taking his pulse and getting his oxygen levels he kept telling him "I promise this won't hurt" The provider we seen was Dr. Aledo and he was also awesome! Very thorough and listened to everything. It's also beautiful in there and so clean! I will defiently return here if need be and recommend this to anyone! Wow this place great! As soon as I entered the facility I was greeted with water and smiling faces. They only had to ask a few personal questions, everything else was done online. They've taken all the nightmare paperwork out of it. The lady that took my bp and temp. ect.. Denise was soooooo nice confident! I had an apt. at 8:30am and I was in the room at 8:27am! Dr. Aledo was very thorough with what was happening with me. He is a very personable Dr. He called the prescription in to the pharmacy about 100 yards away. After 10 years of sitting in a waiting room (every time urgent care has been needed) for 6-8 hours to get in to urgent care at military treatment facilities, this place blew my mind when I was in and out within 20 minutes. My husband, daughter and I have all been to Indigo Urgent care on separate times for various issues. They are very helpful, speedy, professional and have a beautiful office and exam rooms. We appreciate the convenience of them being open 365 days a year as one of our visits was on Thanksgiving weekend and another on a Sunday when most offices are closed.
