The food is consistently incredible we never leave without ordering the Chicken Shahi Paneer and the Lachcha Paratha (the perfect combo!). Their Chicken Kebabs and Chicken Curry are also staples for us; they have that authentic, comforting, homemade taste that you just can't find everywhere. But what really makes this place special is the people. "Aunty" is absolutely the sweetest; she is always so incredibly welcoming and warm. She truly makes us feel like family every time we walk through the door. Even my son loves it here! Whether we are dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is always positive and full of heart. If you're looking for delicious food and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be. We're so grateful to have them in our community!

I didn't try the chaat papdi but heard it was good. The paneer tikka was fine, but it was a little cold, and I wish it were crispier on the outside. For the mains, we got dal makhani, shahi paneer, and a bread basket of naans. We also tried the Amritsari kulcha with chole. I liked the dal and shahi paneer. The naan was soft and warm, and there was a good amount in the basket. The entrees were a little small, though. Service was fine, and the food was decent. It's an option you could consider if you're in the area.

Walked around the building looking for the entrance. Tripped at least once on uneven payment. Upon entering I was greeted, given a menu, assigned a seat at the bar. Seeing it was a drink menu, I asked for a food menu. After consultation with bartender, I ordered. He gave order to waitress. Never saw him again. 5ish minutes later, waitress came over to inquire what I wanted to drink. "Water" i replied. Water came 12 minutes later with my food. Offerings: South India fare: soup, entrees, salads, entrees, vegetarian, non-vegetarian. Also pasta, India habachi. Bites: Dakshin Chicken Chettinad (18.99) med. Spicy. Small bowl with big spoon -boneless chicken pieces slowly braised in a savory with many spices (garlic, cumin, black pepper, star anise, funnel seeds, kok slaps...), south curry leaves, and coconut. Every bite deliz. -very condensed savory mix with plentiful Unami. Hotness from peppers not chilis. Tandoori garlic naan (3.99) ordered this. Got plain. Tasted plain. Not spiciness. Desired garlic not to repel vampires but to lower my cholesterol. Didn't discover discrepancy till I checked receipt. When finished, I asked the new bartender for bill. He called waitress. She came over and asked can she clear plates? "Ok" I said. She did and disappeared. Asked bartender again for my bill. Decor is lots of bright lites, big dining area, 2 flatscreens tuned to sports. A fish tank with no fish, lots of hanging faux leaves from ceiling & the left wall. 3.5 stars Food wonderful. Service & decor underwhelming. Doubtful repeat.

Unfortunately, they shut down their lunch buffet during COVID and never brought it back. All the food at the other tables looked good so we decided to give it a try à la carte. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, and tandoori chicken. Since à la cart we als ordered two rice and one garlic naan to go with the curries. Serving sizes were good - not small at all but not huge either. Service was very friendly and consistent.. Tikka masala was thick and flavorful. Over the basmati rice was a perfect bite. Vindaloo was also juicy but felt that the sauce could have been a little thicker. Had also asked for super spicy vindaloo but it didn't feel that hot (but did make me sweat like crazy!). Tandoori was tasty but could have been juicier. Felt like it was precooked and warmed up versus being cooked fresh. The tandoori was a till very tasty though. Cost was a little on the high side since everything is à la carte (rice and naan extra). Three dishes, two rice and a garlic naan came out to $74 with leftovers. Lunch would have been $20-25 each if we only got two dishes instead of three. Overall we plan to return and try other menu items. The friendliness of the staff (I think she was the owner) alone would make us come back, but the food was yummy too! In fact, I think we will door dash some Ashoka for poker tonight!
