This one is located inside a food court but they have their own designated seating area. May be this change is recent, if you are doing dine in you don't need to order at the counter. We were seated immediately and offered menus. We ordered noodles, fried rice and fried chicken momos. Momos were so delicious, meat was juicy and skin was crispy. Noodles were ok but fried rice was good with a little spice kick. They also have some house made sauces, definitely needed for noodles. Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambiance: 2.5

I have been craving for anything curry. This place has an interesting menu of Nepalese, Indian and Chinese dishes. So I narrow my order to Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and mango lassi. Masala had plenty of sauce and of course there's never enough though for the rice and naan dipping. Surprisingly the naan had a cracker consistency throughout rather than doughy bread consistency. For most part it was alright. Overall I had enjoyed the tikka masala. The mango lassi could have a more thicker consistency with more mango flavoring but it did satisfy my thirst. Service was limited to ordering at to counter and delivery of food to my table.

I've been here two times now and both times were delicious. This location is easy to park at and the service is good. The food comes out pretty quick and is really flavorful.

Got the Veggie Paneer Momo Chili and Paneer Tikka Masala for pickup. Both were fire. The momos were large and had lots of tasty paneer filling. The paneer was nicely made and rich. My only concern is that it costed me more than $30 bucks for an experience that I'm not sure matches that price point. I'm not saying the food is bad. The food is stellar: it's just...I don't know if I'd pay that price point. Lucky for Urban Momos that the local Everest Momos branch went out of business hahaha.

Urban MoMo takes over the defunct Bandao beef noodle space in the Ranch 99 shopping center food court. They did minimal changes to the interior seating area just adding a mural and hanging some Nepalese flags. The menu is Indian Nepalese food. Plastic laminated menus, paper plates and disposable plastic utensils reflect the style of the restaurant. We ordered the following items: Chicken Manchurian Samosas Garlic Naan Chicken tikka Masala The food is good but overall ambiance, messiness of the interior and cheapness of the utensils takes away from that. Minimal service plenty of parking.

Urban Momo opened in Bandao Beef's space in Pacific Food Hall. They have their own dining area. Decor limited to a wall mural & menu listings on outside walls. Offerings (Nepalese): appetizers, Indo-Chinese, Nepalese specialities, sides, tandoori meats, drinks, rice & breads, biryanis.... Was assigned a table quickly. Ordered. Food arrived piping hot in 10ish minutes. Lunch biz was slow.. Eats: Chicken Vindaloo (13.50) served with rice. -lotsa fluffy steamed long grained basmatic rice. Goes great with the Vindaloo sauce that's similar to Indian curry but not as spicy hot though they share common ingredients: tumeric, vinegar, garlic, cardoman, coriander, chilis, cumin & mustard seed. The Nepalese version is less spicy, more subtle flavas with a bold edge. -5 ish semi-tender medium sized chicken pieces were mixed in with some potato pieces & cilantro. 4ish stars. Didn't finish. Saved for later. Food too "heavy" for warm weather. *May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Nice, decent Indian food! The place has a lot of seating and the staff was friendly. The menu was straightforward and had a solid amount of options. We ordered to go with butter chicken, tandoori chicken momo, and mango lassi. The butter chicken was amazing and had the most buttery texture and taste! The butter flavor was so rich and matched so well with the rice. It does get a little overwhelming if you eat too much though. The fried tandoori chicken momo was on their special menu and surprisingly delicious but toward the salty side. It got salty when I ate a second one, but the dipping sauces added a nice kick to the dumplings and enhanced the flavor. Mango lassi was good and refreshing for the meal.

This restaurant is situated inside the Pacific Pearl food court next to Ranch 99. We tried the Chicken Tikka Kebab & Chicken biryani today. It was delicious and satisfying. We ordered online. Our food was ready when during out pick up time. Thanks to the yelpers reviews, we found another gem near home. I'm not going to give it 5 stars today, but I will say this......We will be back and hoping we get a little more chicken on the biryani. I will update my review on our next visit.

Urban MoMo, a great addition to the Pacific Pearl food court! We ordered a variety of dishes to share and they were all yummy: * gobi manchurian: my favorite - crispy cauliflower in chili sauce, hot and fresh, 9/10 * egg chowmein: second favorite - 9/10, flavorful, perfectly tasty even though there was no meat (speaking as a carnivore) * chili momo: we got one chicken and one vegan, they were both good and came in different shapes. You can also adjust the spice to be mild if you can't tolerate too much spice Overall, everything was slightly spicy but doable for me with some water to stay hydrated. The flavor profiles were similar for the dishes that we ordered (all chili lol). Not necessarily a bad thing, but would love to try their other stuff next time. Staff was nice. We went for lunch on a weekday and service was speedy :) pay at counter after you eat.

My hubby and I like the food here. Easy parking. Good location and service. We ordered the chicken kabob, chicken vindaloo and salt and pepper cauliflower. Clean and good vibes. I don't have a picture of the kebab.

This is a new eatery that opened in the food court in the Pacific Pearl Plaza. I have walked past it a couple of times and finally decided to come try it today and I am really happy that I did! I really recommend anyone to come and try their food that is full of flavor. Even the price is very reasonable. We ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikki masala curry, gobi Manchurian, and steamed chicken mono. Love all the dishes, especially the gobi (cauliflower) that is fried and coated with a slightly spicy and sweet sauce. It's like eating the Korean chicken wings except it's veggie and healthy! The chicken momos are dumplings and the fillings consisted of a nice mixture of meat and veg with a comfortable level of curry spice. Large portion of naan went perfectly with the masala curry; and it was a great lunch date for my wife and me! Plus we still have plenty of leftover for later. It wasn't busy at lunch, which was super odd...food this good should be known and enjoyed by many. Service was very pleasant and our waiter kindly recommended us some of his personal favorites. We plan to visit them again sometime soon.

Welcome Urban Momo to the Pacific Pearl Plaza in East Pleasanton! It is located in the Food Court to the left of 99Ranch, and to the right hand side as you walk in. We tried Urban Momo for the first time and they had just opened for 2 days! By the way, they are also offering Grand Opening Special at 20% off all menu items through 2/29/24. So come and try their good food. :) We had a larger party and tried a variety of dishes... everything tasted great, flavors are on point and service was very friendly. There are plenty of roomy and comfortable seating. * Steamed and Fried Momos: both very good. I always prefer the steamed vegetarian momo * Fried Rice - very nice and flavorful * Chow Mein - very good * Chai (tea): very good * Fried Goni (cauliflower) : flavorful with a mixture of spices... very good Overall a very delightful experience and we will be back.

I was not even aware that any such existed so close to my place. I was surprised when I see it and tried couple of dishes. The service was quick. Not crowded and the food was amazing. The Nepali momos were fresh and yum. The chicken fried rice(it has a Nepali name) was so good. My son loved it. Non spicy and tasty. Will visit them again

It tastes exactly like the vibrant street food you'd find in Kathmandu or Darjeeling. The Standouts: * Veg Steamed Momos: These are perfection. The dough is rolled thin enough to be delicate but strong enough to hold the generous filling. The vegetable mix inside is finely minced, juicy, and seasoned with that distinct ginger-garlic punch. * The "Momo Achar" (Dipping Sauce): You can't talk about these momos without the sauce. It's a spicy, roasted tomato and sesame chutney that provides the perfect acidic kick to the savory dumplings. * Street Style Chow Mein: This is a nostalgia trip in a bowl. It's got that high-heat "wok hei" (breath of the wok) flavor--smoky, savory, and slightly oily in the best way possible. The noodles have a great bite, tossed with crunchy cabbage, carrots, and onions. This is the ultimate comfort meal. Fast, fresh, and bursting with authentic spices. I absolutely love it!

Over the last few years, I've worked my way through nearly the entire menu and brought numerous guests here; every single one has left impressed. The interior is peaceful and welcoming, but it's the owners who truly make the experience. Their warmth and genuine hospitality--whether we are dining in or picking up takeout--make it a genuine pleasure to support this business. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. The curries are rich and deeply flavorful without ever being greasy. Here are the standouts I find myself ordering on repeat: Himalayan Goat Curry & Himalayan Lamb Curry: Both feature incredibly tender meat in aromatic, rich gravies. The goat curry, in particular, is a less dry version of Sukha Gosht--you can tell it's been slow-cooked for hours. Fish Coconut Curry: Perfectly cooked salmon in a decadent, and beautifully spiced coconut curry sauce. It ties with the goat curry as my absolute favorite. Aloo Bodi & Tama: This Nepalese dish was a new discovery for me. The contrast between the crunchy bamboo shoots and creamy potatoes/black-eyed peas is superb, and the spices never overwhelm the vegetables. The Classics (Dal, Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala): The Dal is pure comfort (exactly like my mother's!), and the Palak Paneer tastes like it came straight from an authentic Punjabi dhaba. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is a close second to the famous version at the iconic Chor Bazaarr restaurant in London--tangy, spicy, and delicious. A true local treasure!
