My new favorite boba spot! I came by yesterday and ordered the Peach Perfection fruit tea and beef bahn mi sandwich. Wow! The drink was sweet and flavorful, boba was chewy and cooked perfectly. We ordered multiple types of food and drinks. The food was ok, definitely not the best I've ever had but would take it over subway. The milk tea were very bad. They ran out of boba and didn't post it on the self ordering machine. Being told they didn't have what I paid extra for after the fact was annoying. My friend and I stopped by today and we loved our food and experience there. Service was friendly and warm. We appreciated the younger male employee who offered us recommendations when we asked. So I was with the wife and just finished up shopping when I noticed Munchy's, never heard of it but noticed they sold Bahn Mi, had to check it out. The first thing I noticed was how dope the music was and next, how hella nice the staff was. I can't remember her name but she was hella nice. I got the special Bahn Mi and the wife got the chicken. I feel the reviews for the actual food are over rated. We had the pork sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The sandwiches were very light on actual meat, mainly filled with the veggies etc. the only flavor is the meat, and then sauce on the side, so was dry. First time in here. The combo banh mi sandwich and strawberry matcha latte both so good. The sandwich was made like how it's supposed to be made, no substitutions or Asian fusion thing. Delicious. For the drink, I taste a little more of the strawberry than the matcha, wish there was a bit more matcha than strawberry, but still delicious! Coming back again to try other stuff! the food here is good it's a boba shop and has Vietnamese food! the service here is amazing such nice people. The inside of this place is so clean and nice its modern and very cool. I've came here a couple times and it was good when they had non-family employee. They have young girls working the front almost too young to work and orders are always wrong now and they are not welcoming. I placed an order to go and let me tell you I am so glad I checked my order. I ordered salmon sashimi and a poke bowl with salmon, half rice and half salad and a beet heart juice. I ended up receiving tuna sashimi and the salmon bowl with just salad and no juice. I asked where is my juice she told me she didn't add the drink she had forgot and told me I would have to buy it if I still want it and giggle about it. When I told them that they gave me tuna sashimi not salmon sashimi the girls argued with me, telling me that the tuna was salmon, I explain that tuna is not red and salmon is orange with white lines, then told them they didn't give me rice, they said it's in their, I handed over the food and asked her to show me where is the rice, she just looked at me and looked at the other girl with an irritated look, They took the food to the back and I can hear arguing and then they said clearly annoyed they will fix it. It was pretty good! The tuna was really fresh and they were quite generous with it. There was a ton of rice. And i asked for extra spicy mayo and they gave me a pretty big side of it so that made my day. The ladies at the counter were all very sweet and smiling.
