Waited ten minutes for a cup o'joe. Pretty terrible coffee. Yes I am interested in a better cup of coffee but this "cafe" is not the place to enjoy one. The help at front was friendly, and he ordered the coffee from the back. I suspect they had a pod machine producing stale coffee as I saw an empty pot at the front of store. But holy hell it took them ten minutes to make this stale, nasty tasting Joe. While waiting I figured out that this was a sandwich shop and Not a Cafe. If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't. Lol The service was great and I was in and out under 10mins and there were a few people a head of me. I love to stop by the cafe, and this is the first place I will call in the Bay Area for catering. Mike and Lori make the experience so personal and really feel like family after sharing so many events with us over the years. Most recently they made a beautiful picnic spread for my mom's retirement party. They were careful to bring everything and set up early in order not to spoil the surprise and the food was perfect. With almost hour to kill before an appointment on the next block and not having breakfast or lunch yet I was hungry. I worked in Concord for years and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby, but I was worried that either the service would be slow or I would dilly-dally and be late. Cafe Oasis looked like it would be the ideal place to have a BLT minus the lettuce. The interior is small with only a few tables; there is an outdoor seating area that would be nice on warm days. I imagine that most of their customers work in this industrial park. I ordered my sandwich from a very friendly person behind the counter. I like bacon on the thin side and do not like really crispy bacon. Surprisingly, that is how this sandwich was prepared; you would think I would have been happy. I wasn't. The bacon was paper thin and barely fried. I could see through it. I did not say how I wanted the bacon cooked. My sandwich was saved by the pickles that I added. There were several specials, and the sandwiches I saw on other tables looked good. Perhaps BLT was not the best thing to order. The BLT was a 2.6 but the other food looked better, the service was pleasant so I am rounding it up to 3. read more

I really hate to do this! I used to come to Cafe Oasis 2-3 times per week, as I used to work in the building next door. The food was delicious, well-prepared and reasonably priced. The customer service was always fantastic too! Granted, this was all pre-pandemic (4 years ago). Sadly, the last few times I've attended here in the last 6 months has each been a disappointment. The service is still great though! But oftentimes I get home and my sandwich isn't what I ordered, or like my experience this week, the sandwich bread was warm, but half of the chicken inside the sandwich was still cold. I really try to spend a little extra money to support local businesses, and I'm just not really sure what happened here. It's unfortunate because it's a cute spot (indoor and outdoor seating) with nice employees - I just can't see myself continuing to pay $10-$11 for half-cold/half-warm sandwiches or sandwiches without the ingredients in them for which I paid. I hope they are able to rectify some of these concerns so they continue to stay in business, as the employees really are very nice. read more

Found Oasis at the concord farmer's market in Todos Santos last night. Smoked Turkey legs!! That's all I need to say. I work down the street from here. I don't know why it is rated so highly. It's small and stuffy. The food is acceptable but not delicious by any stretch. But my primary complaint lies with the "Ahi Tuna Sandwich". This is clearly canned tuna with a single piece of cheese. Yet it is labelled as Ahi AND it comes with no additional items HOWEVER, it is the most expensive sandwich on the menu. The least they could do is throw a pickle on the plate for the price. The staff is super friendly and the location is convenient. The food is okay but this tuna thing really irks me. read more

For very basic food they are okay. The folks are super nice and very accomodating. We have used them a couple of times for private catering for private events. The food is 'okay' - middle of the road and pleases most average folks. The veggies are a little disappointing - clearly frozen and reheated with very little seasoning. Reasonable price and pretty decent food. I ordered the kiki sandwich which was relatively simple, yet the kicker for me was the warm environment and friendly staff. Apparently you get complimentary chips and a pickle with dine-in orders so that was a plus. This place is down the road from where I work and I will definitely be returning to try other items for lunch. I'd say that it's biggest downfall is that it's only open until 2:30pm. We used Oasis Catering for our son's wedding in August. Wow, where do I begin. Chef Mike is outstanding to work with. From planning the menu to executing the event, they are definitely five stars. Even when a personal family matter occurred mere hours before our event, Chef Michael's wife Lori was there with her team; happy and ready to make our event special from top to bottom. Their food is delicious, from appetizers to dinner. They were very considerate working in our kitchen, went above & beyond to help with our own dessert stations, and were a God send to help with bringing in the rented dishes and prepping them for return to the party store the next day.
