I bought a group on and scheduled a 4 hours appointment a week and a half in advance. Received email appointment confirmations they would be here at 9:00 am up until the night before. I called the company at 9:30 am to let them know they are not here and I need to reschedule since I have an appointment immediately after 1:00 and can't wait until they housekeeper is done cleaning past 1. The person who answered the phone stated we called you at 8:00 am and you did not answer, the maid is on her way and we cannot reschedule your appointment on a voucher. I told the person helping me I can't be expected to cancel my appointment or be late to my appointment because they could not honor their scheduled appointment. She went back and forth with her argument that she called me at 8:00 am stating they can't reschedule their appointment even though they were late on their end. She stated she would have a manager call me. The housekeeper arrived at 9:45 am and as of 10:45 am I'm waiting for the manager to call me back. I contacted GroupOn to file a complain and get my money back. I do not recommend for two reasons; 1. tardiness 2. Unwilling to work with customer when they cannot keep their appointment on time on their end 3. UNPROFESSIONALISM UPDATE AT 11:00 AM MY GROUP ON HAD BEEN MARKED AS REDEEMED. I used their cleaning services as a final cleaning before the new tenants moved into the house. The roommates I was living with had only moved out and left the house a mess. Okay,... so my experience with Munoz was good and bad all rolled into one. There scheduling is horrible BUT there actual cleaning services were spot on. Let me explain. I set an apt 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving to have MCS come and clean for an hour in my home to prep for having 20 people over. They were supposed to come over at 9-10am, they didn't actually show up to 3 in the afternoon. Now the good part. When they did show up they did a great job cleaning my house for my guests. The manager felt sooo bad about his scheduling conflicts that he actually gave me the 1.5 hour service for FREE !!! So, as I said before my review is a mixed bag. I don't think I would use them again for the day before Thanksgiving, but in a more normal time I would definitely use there services. read more

I received a call before my scheduled appointment time to let me know they were running behind but would send two cleaners instead of one to expedite the time. Between the two cleaners the got the majority of my 1,600 sf. house cleaned when all I asked them to do was clean the bathrooms and mop the house. Save your hard earned money! I never leave negative comments on sights like these, but I feel completely ripped off. If I could rate a zero I would. I received terrible service. I ordered a deep clean for a condo I was preparing for a new tenant. I had priorities that I specifically asked to be cleaned. 3 ceiling fans, the baseboards wiped and vacuumed and 1 1/2 small bathroom floors and a small kitchen floor to be cleaned. I had one room that desperately needed the walls dusted from where the ceiling fan shed dust. I have an 850 sq ft condo. I ordered 3 hours for $120. I thought that was a lot, but figured there would be a couple people doing the job. 1 girl showed up. She was very nice. I noticed she didn't have a step stool and asked her if she brought one. Nope! Really?? How do you expect to clean top of cabinets, cupboards or refrigerators AND my ceiling fans which I was very clear about when I called for services. We ordered the deep cleaning since our tenants already did all the basic cleaning. Tenants cleaned the bathrooms really good, except the floor and one shower. The house cleaner did the shower pretty well, but left both bathroom floors untouched. In the kitchen, I needed the refrigerator and inside the stove cleaned. The stove top, was already cleaned by the old tenant. I thought she did a good job cleaning the inside of the stove until I looked at it yesterday and noticed a lot of stove cleaner residue that was left inside of the stove. My husband had to go in, scrub and wipe it all down. He then turned it on to burn off excess toxins. I was horrified imagining if our new tenant would have experienced that the first time they cooked. :( Microwave was brand new, just installed, nothing to do there. Inside the cupboards were already cleaned by past tenant, but needed the outside wiped down because there were a lot of fingerprints. I don't know if the house cleaner even touched the cupboards or if she just missed them completely. There were fingerprints on every single cupboard. The fingerprints were hard to miss. And the kitchen floor needed a deep clean. I saw her mop, but it looked completely untouched once everything dried. My husband asked when she was going to vacuum the floors and I figured she'd do it at the end. When she was getting ready to leave, I asked if she could come back or stay another hour to clean the floors and the baseboards. She said she already did them. Say what?? She agreed to stay another hour, but I honeslty have no idea what else she did. I REALLY needed the baseboards vacuumed to clean up cat hair. Super important! Weren't done one single bit. I saw her vacuum the carpet using a small backpack vacuum. I can't tell you how poorly that turned out. I couldn't believe that such a basic cleaning task could be done so poorly. I actually went back over the vacuuming once she left and filled 3 canisters of dust and hair. My husband and I were so disappointed that even that was done so poorly. Ceiling fans were done, except the end of the blades were visibly streaked with dust. I had to wipe those over again. I asked her again if there was anyway she could come back to clean more. She said she had to go to another appointment but could maybe come back the next day. When I called Amy to tell her that I needed the house cleaner to come back, there were tasks missed. Amy seemed like she could care less that my place wasn't cleaned well, and my priorities were completely missed or done poorly. She just asked what still needed to be done, how much time was needed, without skipping a beat told me it would be $70 more dollars, on TOP of the now $160 (original 3 hours @ $120 + 1 extra hour @ $40) on an 850 sq ft condo which was hardly lightly cleaned NOT deep cleaned. Total rip job! I emailed pictures and explained my disappointment and received no response. Zero. No appologies, no concerns, no explanation, nothing. I did receive the next appointment reminder. I was so fed up, I cancelled the service. I was out $160 total, and had to do all the cleaning that I needed from the start. Unbelievable. read more

I don't know if there was a change in leadership or not, but now the response to questions is decidedly very slow. Additionally, the work has not been as stellar as it used to be. In fact, it has been sloppy. Recently, they attempted to clean the inside my oven (which they never had done in the past) and left chunks cleaning product that was never removed. I have asked them to correct this and a couple of other errors from that day; it has been over three weeks and they have not remedied the situation. Why is it so HARD to find a good cleaning service that is on time?! My appt was at 9am & they showed up at 10:30am. They sent 2 people to do 1 hour instead of the 2 hrs I paid for. Fine, but don't nickel and dime me for 5 or 10 mins over the hour when I've been waiting over an hour for you! The least you can do is do SOMETHING to make up for my time. It took them 45 mins for both of them to do 2 small bathrooms & I had to stop them so that could clean my stove quickly in 15 mins or supposedly 30 mins for 2 people. Never again!!!! read more

I've used Munoz cleaning twice now - when I moved out of my apartment and when I moved into my new one. It was in pretty bad shape when I moved in and I was very happy with what they got done in just 2 hours. Whoever the man is that answers the phones is VERY helpful. I think he really makes this company so pleasant to hire! Very professional. You can trust them to let themselves in with a key under the mat. We booked Munoz Cleaning through Amazon to come right before we had guests in from out of town. We confirmed for Friday at 9 am, I sent them messages two days and then a day before to confirm to no avail. My husband took the morning off to stay home and at 9am ... no show. Finally an hour later I got a text that no one could come until 2pm or later that date. Several frantic texts and calls went unanswered until finally someone called to say they found someone who could get there around 11:30. They did send a team of two at that time but my husband had to leave to go pick up our son since it was so late. I rushed home at noon when he left to be there but had to get back to work. When he called me to tell me he was 5-10 minutes away I raced back to work...big mistake...leaving them cleaning in our master bedroom. We noticed that night that the camera in my son's room had been adjusted to face to the ceiling, assumed that happened when the cleaned it. Two weeks later we found that someone had pried off the face to a locked jewelry drawer that was in a cabinet, ruining it, and threw the drawer face under our bed. Once we looked around to see what else was missing, I found my son's piggy bank in another cabinet in our bedroom had been emptied of over $200.00. Some jewelry was missing and I am not entirely sure what else as its not a drawer we used very often. I know it was this service as they were the ONLY people who were in our home alone during this time period. We were not broken into any other time, no iPads or computers or other things were stolen, just what appears to be a crime of opportunity since they were in our room in the house alone for about 10 minutes. I reached out twice to the company requesting the names of who was in our home and have been completely ignored. I also reached out to Amazon but no response as well. I am giving them one star for their business practice or lack there of and not their cleaning skills since they didn't show up on time and I never got my house cleaned. I bought the 4 hour deal on LivingSocial but they said I could have 2 people for 2 hours instead so I agreed. I called numerous times to schedule with no answer or call back. Finally someone answered the phone and she said, "I'll call you in one hour." She never called back. I called and left another voicemail. Then I got a call from a guy the next day and he said to text him my address and email him with it but I said I never got an email so I'll just text it (but can't you just write it down too??). So I confirmed 9am with him, hung up and texted him my address. Next day a call from a woman to confirm my appointment for the next day at 9am and my address so I reiterate that they have to arrive at 9am because I've got somewhere to be at noon. Normally being late wouldn't bother me so much but this day I had another appointment set and had to get ready and leave the house by 11:30am which I told them numerous times. So 9am comes the day of the cleaning and no one shows. 9:15am I call and leave message. Someone calls me back and says they don't have Internet on their phone so they can't find my house....I said texting isn't internet and then he explains their system and that the text on his phone is already deleted and he can't get the email nor gps. (Should've written my address down!!). You'd think the system would be to not delete the address until after work was done. Anyway then the woman calls and I said I just got a call from the cleaners and they said they don't have Internet and can't find my house and they're late (about 9:40am by now) so I'll have to cancel. It was such a hassle getting a hold of this company and not getting a call back I was already annoyed and then not arriving on time and having no working gps. I told the woman on the phone I want a refund and she said I'd have to call LivingSocial. Didn't try to resolve it any other way. Then like ten minutes later they show up!! I said it's too late now and I wouldn't get my 2 hours I paid for. They said their phone has no internet and their Tom Tom doesn't work and they didn't have my address...I wasn't mad at the cleaners I'm annoyed at whoever runs a business that requires people to find addresses and doesn't equip them with working gps units and a good old fashioned map for backup!! There were days before smart phones and Tom Toms and people found houses. If problems like this occur then the owner should print out a map with the address on it for every appointment in case the Tom Tom fails, their smart phone gets no internet/gps and texts are erased. And equip every employee with a Thomas Guide and a printed out list of all the addresses for the day. If they did, they would reduce their failure to show up rate to 0%. I was sadly disappointed by this cleaning company. I scheduled a week in advance, only to get a surprise text the night before saying they changed my appt time (without consulting me first). The time the gave me was inconvenient to my schedule and so we reschedule. Yet again, the time was changed and then they arrived an hour and a half late (no phone call to let me know, I had to call). The cleaning job was mediocre and my floors were still very dirty after they left. To top it all off, my experiences via text and calls was unprofessional. I never write reviews unless a service is extremely worth it, or absolutely terrible - in this case, the latter. I bought a Living Social deal for 2 hours of cleaning with this company, and I will never, ever use them again. I scheduled their services on 2 separate occasions, and BOTH times they were 2 hours late. I scheduled them around my son's nap and bed times, so after being 2 hours late, I could not welcome them into my house. I called them after 30 minutes had passed to see what was going on (both times), and they informed me that the person would be here any minute. After an hour I called back, and told them to forget it, it was too late and would be cutting into my son's nap time. They sent their employee anyway, who had to drive 45 minutes from the last house to my house even though I told them I would not let her in. I feel terrible that she had to drive so much and waste her gas, but when I make an appointment, I expect them to be on time. If not, then at least call me and try to reschedule! I can't comment on the quality of their cleaning services, since we never got that far. I can say that if you'd still like to try them after this review, plan on them being 2 hours late and you won't be disappointed. read more

Leticia Munoz, if that is her real name, came to my home an hour and 45 minutes late. Cleaning was not good and she robbed me of cash,wallet and jewelry. Police were called. I held her here until Sheriffs arrived. Had daughter with a kid in a car outside.Police couldn't search the car because it was the daughters and she had a small child present and it would infringe upon her 4th amendment rights. I am out 4-5 grand. I took licence plate a photo and filed a police report. She wouldn't show me her ID, she said she didn't have one and then later said it was in the car. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS BUSINESS!! My husband and I were moving out of our one bedroom apartment and were planning on doing the move out cleaning ourselves (and believe me, we wish we would've now) but after our neighbors found out I was pregnant, they purchased us a Groupon for Munoz Cleaning. The Groupon was for a 4 hour clean but we didn't know that it wasn't going to be good for a move out clean. We agreed to pay the difference of $86 for the more "thorough deep clean" that we were supposed to get. Not only was the customer service a constant hassle, the cleaner was late for the scheduled time, he only stayed for 3 hours, and after seeing our apartment, I honestly can't tell you one thing he did. We called the company and explained our concerns, they acted genuinely upset and scheduled for someone to come back a day later to finish the unfinished work. My husband and landlord waited at the apartment for them to arrive and no one showed. My husband called and spoke to someone at the office and they said they would call him back, 2 hours later and nothing. My husband called again and no one would answer. I do not know how anyone that has a part in this business can be proud of what their doing to people. All I can hope is that karma treats Munoz Cleaning the same as they have treated us along with many others. read more

BEWARE, SCAM! I purchased a Living Social voucher for a 3 hour home cleaning from Munoz Cleaning. When I tried to call to schedule, a person who spoke no English answered. Eventually, someone named Amy texted me back to set an appointment. It took many tortuous back and forth texts to finally nail down a date and time. I gave her my information including my Living Social voucher number. I thought I was good to go! At the last minute she insisted I provide a credit card number. I explained I was using a Living Social voucher and that she had the voucher number if she wanted to verify it. Amy then flat out refused to accept my voucher without a credit card number. This was not a condition of the Living Social voucher. She said that the credit card was in case I wanted additional services. I explained I just wanted the services outlined on the voucher. She again refused. So unless you are willing to buy additional services with a credit card, Munoz Cleaning will not honor your Living Social voucher. Living Social gave me a refund. I would not recommend Munoz cleaning. I scheduled an appt for them to come clean my house while I was out trusting that they would do the job I had paid for, which was $105 for deep cleaning of 2 restrooms and a kitchen. My restrooms and kitchen were not very dirty but two new roommates were moving in and I wanted a deep cleaning of counters/tubs/cabinets to be done, just to start fresh. I was told that deep cleaning involved using different chemicals and moving things in cabinets to wipe them down. I figured $105 was a reasonable price. None of this was done. The only reason I realized they came was because they took $45 of the $105 I left on the counter for them. The counters weren't even wiped down properly. I can only guess the cleaners believed that $45 was a good amount of money for the quality of work they had done (it wasn't). Not only did they not do a deep cleaning but they did not do a good job at a "regular" cleaning either. Simple things like sweeping was not done because there was still hair/dust on the tile. I called them the next day and talked to someone who could not give me an explanation as to what happened and said she would call me back, she didn't. I sent an email the following day and Luis replied. He was the only good part of this company and the reason I booked them in the first place. He was very apologetic and understanding but still could not offer me a reason as to "why" they did such a terrible job. I asked for either my money back or for them to come back and to complete the job at a discounted price. His boss said this could not be done but that they would come back a different time and finish the job and then I would pay them the remainder of the money. Why would I trust them to come clean a second time and pay them more? And receiving a refund was not an option. It was such a headache that I am now cleaning myself, which is probably what I should have done in the first place. Neyva and Bernice did a good job of cleaning the house. I scheduled for three hours, so it took 1.5 hours with a team of two. Courteous, professional, and polite.
