We stayed there in the Daffodil Room in early October 2014, while attending the nearby Cranberry Harvest Festival. Dave and Megan are the consummate B&B hosts: helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of guests' privacy. They were able to give us a lot of information on local activities, including great restaurant and destination tips. Their breakfasts were tasty and sumptuous. Their warm, generous, and humorous demeanor made us feel comfortable and relaxed. They welcomed us into their home and even allowed us to join a small party they were having one night with friends. The Daffodil Room was lovely. Dave told us up front that this room has two beds together to form a queen sized bed - we did not notice any difference. Bathroom is clean and well-maintained, with modern plumbing smoothly integrated with the charm of the old home. The living room is well-stocked with books and cozy furniture, and has a fireplace. Dave and Meg built a wonderful fire for us there, and we were glad to pass a lazy rainy day in front of it, reading old classic books from the shelves. We cannot say enough good things about this place, and we cannot wait to return and be with Dave and Meg again!

It's so peaceful here as we sit around the homey kitchen table with spectacular views of the ponds and cranberry bog. The grounds and gardens are beautifully peaceful and relaxing with little areas on the porch that are so comfortable. The Proprietress, Jeanine, is very warm and welcoming. Had the upstairs room on the right. The ceiling sloped at a sharp angle so that side of the room (where the bed was), can feel small and crowded especially if you are tall (I'm 5'3" and I had to crouch). The rest of the room was spacious enough for me and my bf. Plenty of places to put our bags and other small items. The first thing I noticed when entering the room was how hot it was! Fortunately there was a small AC unit on the window. Unfortunately the inside was lined with mold so we had the AC off the entire time we were in the room. Plenty of lamps and hooks in the room, which I was grateful for. The upstairs restroom has amazing natural lighting. A decent sized space but only has a tub. There is also a very small sink, a chair, a table, and plenty of hooks to hang your items up. Downstairs has the shower. Didn't like the vibe of the downstairs restroom, so I ended up using a cup to bathe upstairs and honestly it worked out fine if you're open-minded. Be sure to bring toiletries because only towels were offered here. The host, Fran, was sweet and welcoming. There are 2 cats, but my bf and I barely saw them while we were there. Would stay again if we needed an affordable stay, but would try to book another room.

In fact, the owner loves cats so much that she can't keep her hands off them...even while cooking breakfast! Our room was fine, but others staying on other rooms weren't as ok with theirs as we were. Were also disappointed because when we called to ask about the facilities, were told that there would be a separate, private bathroom (which there wasn't) -- only two bathrooms available (one with a shower, the other was a bath tub). The location (Wareham, MA) is a nice central location for trips to the Cape, Boston, Newport, etc. Also, I would recommend skipping the 'breakfast' part of this B&B.

There was coffee ready to go in the coffee pot. All we had to do was push start. There were breakfast items in the fridge and plenty of coffee items. We had the full room and there were mermaid paintings throughout the room and the cottage. Everything was so beautiful. The bathroom was a little small side, but we were fine with it. Linda is so hospitable and communication is excellent. She even accommodated us last minute for a late arrival when we needed a place to stay. We were in Salem for Haunted Happenings Halloween festivities. Everything in Boston and Salem was booked up so we decided to take the drive out to Cape Cod for the night. This turned out to be a wonderful experience! We are so glad that we did. In the morning, we went to the Monument beach and marina area. We would definitely recommend Linda's beach cottage and we would certainly stay here again! We can't wait to return to beautiful Cape and Linda's Beach Cottage!

My wife and two girls (4yr & 1) arrived for…read morecheck in and were rudely turned away because as the"inn keeper" who smelled of booze said my wife lied to them about having kids they weren't allowed. He flat out called her a liar and told her she didn't know how to book hotels. To top it all off when she told him that he should be very thankful that I was not there he lost his mind or what was left of it and started swearing at her in front of my two children.
