Great spot to grab a burger and a beer after a day of hiking. I got the Pilsner on tap and a beef burger. Don't remember the name of the burger but it DID have the thinly sliced onion rings on top. We then topped it all off with milkshakes. I got the peanut butter one and it had peanut butter cookies broken up inside. I basically died and went to heaven and am now salivating on my couch thinking about that milkshake. Wasn't too crowded at 3PM on a Tuesday afternoon. Good spot overall. No complaints. read more

Love this place! We go to Murphy's occasionally. Their food is always top notch and their staff is always super friendly. Their short ribs are to die for, and they seem to use seasonal local veggies when possible. Their cocktails are also fabulous. Finally, the owners are committed to the Evergreen community. My husband and I ordered takeout- when we picked it up, we decided to eat outside instead. The place was pretty dead, it was early afternoon on a Friday. My hub has anxiety so he is rarely comfortable eating in public. But not that day! So we asked the waitress if we could sit outside, and she seemed SO unbelievably inconvenienced by our request. She didn't say anything then walked away mumbling to herself. Beyond rude behavior towards us. Then she came back and we asked "so, can we sit down outside??" She replied rudely "yeah, I will need to wipe it down," then walked away, mumbling to herself again. Her demeanor and behavior was seriously unreal. We are nice people, and she had a TERRIBLE attitude. She wiped off the table, and walked away. She didn't say anything again to let us know the table was okay to sit at, so we asked her as she was walking away, and without even turning around she just says "yes." We sat down to a wet table, the cushions on the seats were all messed up, and we dried it off and fixed the seats so we could enjoy our meal. No waters, no interaction. So my husband got up and asked for waters. Once again, beyond rude at his request, she came over with two glasses and poured us some water. We said thank you and she didn't even acknowledge us. This girl had brown hair in a bun, glasses, and looked fairly young. Homegirl- you have a JOB, when a ton of people are out of work. And you have the NERVE to be rude to people??? You should be replaced with someone who will treat people with respect, I am sure there are plenty of people who would be more than grateful and do a WAY better job. Not only that, it makes people nervous to even go out around others now- this was our first time at a restaurant since the pandemic. No one wants to be met with this kind of crap attitude. We didn't stay for long, we were both so turned off by her behavior that it put us in a bad mood, so we left. For the food- it was good, but not great. I got the chicken pasta and it was drenched in butter and oversalted. My hub got the blta and that was tasty, but the fries were chewy and tasted old. read more

Delicious! They're wings are some of the best I've ever had! Great location right in downtown evergreen. It's small, so call ahead for seating if you can. We had a big party of 8 and everyone loved what they had! They are known for their burgers, but you can't go wrong with anything. I started my meal off with a special version of an old fashioned, amazing! We then had the wings, I think I could have just eaten three plates of these for a meal, so insanely good! I got the Epic Sandwich, which was one of the tastiest pastrami's I've had. My wife had the apple Brie burger and "died". We will be back many a time. Thanks guys! read more

Staff was very nice, but honestly the place smelled a bit. The bathroom lock was broken so they set up a hook eye slip. Bathroom was lined with mirrors and had a TV inside? Little weird. LOVED the food here! I was craving an elk burger from Colorado for so long and it met my satisfaction. I got one of the specialty burgers and it was amazing. Fries were better than most restaurants I've been to although I wished they didn't come separately from the burger. We were completely full afterwards but enjoyed it enough that we went back about 2 hours later to get a shake. Also one of the best shakes I've had. Very good food. read more

It's been a year and we finally came back. Not perfect but pretty dang good! Bartender was slingin some excellent drinks (mandarin old fashioned was on point). Live music was excellent (mellow enough to still hear the creek and relax!). Food was good. Service was pretty good. Waited until the third time visiting to review, since you know, new places need time to work out the kinks! Well, the kinks are still there. They've got all the pieces to the ypuzzle but nobody putting them together - meaning, where is management? Why is there a teenager with a crumpled up piece of scrap paper controlling your wait list (our 15 minute quote was actually an hour, thanks). Service is nice/friendly. Food is good. Just a cluster like they are surprised when they're busy each weekend. We will be back since it's still the best option in evergreen... but I hope they figure it out! The great location right on the creek creates such a wonderful atmosphere. The entire staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to eat. We started with the plantain nachos, which were out of this world. If you have room, I recommend a milk shake, which are original in flavor and taste amazing! This use to be one of my family's most favorite restaurants. That was until our experience today. We are so disappointed in not only our service but the food was absolutely horrible. This location had a 30 min wait which turned into over 60 mins. The parking was horrible and we couldn't find parking until others left the establishment. We waited and actually asked (50 mins after putting our name in) if we would be seated soon and the reply was "we have one other person/family in front of you". We finally got seated and I got the Bloody Mary. The drink wasn't bad and it was a good way to pass the time. We ordered the ins and outs burger with sweet potato tots, the French man and the "when in Mexico". All food was good, the tots were great, but the apples in the Frenchman burger were too big. They didn't have the wonton tacos and didn't have any ice cream for the milkshakes that we specifically came to the establishment for, Very disappointing. Third time eating here and I must say, this is a nice little place! The menu is very unique for featuring burgers, but there is pretty much something for every different kind of eater. The cocktail list is tasty and fun and the beers are all local. I've eaten on the patio all 3 times and it's so nice to have a spot right next to the creek! Great spot to eat, but it's very casual so if you're looking for a fancy date I would go next door to creekside. Oh and the shakes are good if you're willing to wait a while for them! read more

We love Murphy's and were frequent patrons before the pandemic. We have ordered take out many times since everything started and their online ordering service is great & you can get sangria to go - what more do you need?!? But really they still offer their kids menu which the Mac and cheese might be our toddlers favorite meal. So, we ate here once before the food was good and the service pretty decent considering how incredibly busy it was. Today we hit there about 2pm...not nearly so busy but once we were "finally" greeted we did get an apology "we're a bit under staffed" and I get that. HOWEVER, over the next 15 minutes, while there were several table open and all set up, at least three times we were told by two different staffers "we'll be right with you". Finally we got seated...eventually we got some water and after receiving our water and menus the wait person spent no less than 5 minutes gabbing with a patron who had brought their dog (I actually like dogs..a lot) but after petting the dog and allowing the dog to lick her repeatedly and letting the dog jump all over here she went directly to another table, then to the back and out again far, far too quickly to have done ANY handwashing and carrying food. We freaking left after seeing that had it not been for a positive experience on our one other visit there I probably would have only given one star. Hopefully the management will see this and take it up with their staff. read more
