    Cider flight

A cozy, low key taproom with an impressive selection of beers! My friends and I went on a cold, icy night and were happy to see a toasty fireplace. They are styled as an Irish pub, with warm wooden paneling and bartops. The servers were polite and efficient. They had 124 beers on tap, with plenty of flights to choose from. I got the cider flight- loved the Downeast traditional and seasonal blend (cinnamon, nutmeg), as well as the Citizen Dirty Mayor (ginger). Also thought their meatloaf was moist, with lot much of the flavor provided by the salty garlicky mashed potatoes. Their vegetable of the day was asparagus, which was tender and also salty. Their clam chowder was thick and hearty- great for a winter night.

This place was absolutely cool! We had nachos in buffalo tenders and they were all very good. The Dries hat on point in a staff was Professional, courtious and on it! If we have time we will definitely come back here!

After over an hour weight still no food

They are to slow with bringing out your food. They also give your food to different tables

Its a a nice clean place with 120 beers to choose from so you can have anything you can think of. The food was very bland, but the service was good.

I've passed Murphy's Taproom several times, and it's always kind of loud/busy with bikers - but I was surprised how good the food was! I'm not sure if it's because of Covid, but the service was a little bit slow. I think they didn't have many members on stuff. The menu is it OK for a vegetarian, they have a sweet potato burger but I ended up going for a salad. The Irish nachos were really good, the beer cheese was is very unique. Outdoor bathrooms are what you'd expect.

Bartenders are very kind- they definitely make the experience. I would recommend coming on a Friday rather than a Saturday.

She was able to find us a table after a short wait at the bar. By the way, at the bar I had the best Guinness I have had in a while - a great pour. Once we sat down, Rachel was right there to welcome us and get us started. This exceptional level of service from her continued throughout the evening. We started with the sharing platter and each item was fantastic. Everything was hot and delicious. Of particular note were the pigs in blankets - the sausage is fantastic. The only disappointment was that it came with one scotch egg instead of two. For supper, two of us ordered shepherds pie, one Guinness pie, one Guinness stew and one Fish & Chips. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Great flavor/seasoning, good portions and perfectly cooked beef and fish. We continued to enjoy the Guinness and Smithwick's on tap until the end of the meal when got a round of Irish Coffee which was delicious. Rachel was spot on with her service and attitude and even engaged in a conversation with us about our next trip to Ireland and she reinforced our desire to go the north of Ireland including Donegal where she is from. At some point my wife told Rachel that it was my birthday and that I am not a cake person. Rachel managed to get the kitchen to make a personal size apple crumble which was scrumptious and happens to be a favority of mine. In fact my wife commented after that she would have ordered it but it was not on the menu as a dessert. Another example of Rachel going above and beyond the call to ensure we had a great experience. And we did. Thank you to Rachel and all the staff and chefs for a briliant evening. I can't wait to go back!!

Everyone loved their adult beverages too! And yes, their pint of Guinness IS actually a Perfect Pour! (We've been to the Dublin distillery in Ireland!) We kept trying to make eye contact, but it didn't work~eventually we had to wave someone down. Even then, the response from the bar felt like it was an inconvenience just to send our server over. That said, the food was mostly good. The bangers & mash and the burger were spot on. However, the "Taste of Ireland" pies were disappointing~2 in particular missed the mark. The shepherd's pie had no mince (just potatoes and peas), & the Guinness pie was more like a beef stew than a proper pie. Overall, some strong dishes, but the service and a few key items would make me hesitate to return.
