My wife and I were recently looking for a new optometrist. We have continued going to our optometrist in West Covina for years, but wanted someone closer to home. I called a number of offices and was not impressed with their customer service. After calling Temecula Creek I was referred to their other office Murrieta Creek, because I wanted a specific frame. Well, I love my dog, and my dog loved my glasses ....So, much so I needed to replace them. With my experience at Murrieta Creek Optometry, I now love them too! I was unhappy with my previous optometrist so I decided to give Murrieta Creek a try... I'm so happy that I did! The staff are all very warm and friendly, scheduling an appointment was easy, no wait at my appointment time, and Doctor Diana was great. Well my first experience here was simply outstanding. I came here because I was seeking a VSP Premier provider. I already had a recent prescription, but my previous Optometry Office just didn't have enough of a selection. The selection here is quite good. They carry all the popular brands as well as Spy sunglasses which I like for the safety glasses. But here's the real kicker. When I chose my frame, I was told the glasses should be ready in two weeks, which is standard. A few days later, I get a call that my glasses are ready! What? Very unprofessional I went in and got an eye exam ordered glasses and when I received my Glasses I was an able to see clearly. Went back in to check my glasses wrong prescription was placed in my glasses Waited another 2 weeks for my glasses and they came back with out the Transitional. Had my eyes checked By another doctor. When I told them that the prescription was wrong they refuse to fix the problem and told me that I need it to go elsewhere very bad customer service. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I made an appointment here based on closeness to my house & insurance coverage. My first appointment started out all wrong as it was a full hour before I was even taken back to a room. Everyone has days where they're behind, but a phone call to let me know would be great considering I have 4 kids all at different schools, so my time is very scheduled. When I came to reviewing my treatment plan, I paid for everything up front and made sure to ask if insurance covered my glasses and contacts. Today was contact fit day & Im surprised to find out that my insurance does NOT cover my contact exam, and only covered a small portion of the lenses. When I asked Alondra, the rudest most passive aggressive person in customer service I've ever met, she replied with "You should try to stay longer after your appointments to get the full details next time!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! If you guys didn't take me back a full freaking hour after my appointment should have started, I would have had optimal time. I can't believe this woman, what a joke! It's too bad because the Dr was wonderful. read more

This was the worst experience I ever had at an eye doctor! They are really overpriced and they spoke of their experience multiple times but had no clue what they were doing! They were scatterbrained and unsure of themselves, with every question I had their answers would change. Here are some examples... they told me antiglare would be $150.00 and I said no then magically they had a cheaper option for $65.00. He kept saying poly lenses are better than trivex lenses and that they are thinner and when we looked it up, it turns out he was wrong! Then he said a test that I needed would be free of charge. But would be scheduled later. After 2 business days no call then I called them and they said it would be $85.00. I told them I was told it would be free and they agreed that they did say that but insisted there was nothing they could do about the price! I then told them that good customer service = standing by their word! Again they refused more than once!!! I then told them can you at least meet me in the middle and do it for half price and the manager Kathy then told me that it was unreasonable to ask that of her, as if I had created this problem! Then she said if I wanted the info about test that I needed to call back later and hung up the phone!!! As if I had no reason to be upset and as if I was creating a problem for her!!! This was ridiculous! I'll never go back to that place again! read more

I waited 3 weeks for an appointment that went very well. After 2 weeks they are not able to give me my glasses. When I called they said all they could tell me was they were in progress but could not give me a revised estimate as to when they will be ready. Update The Dr called me to resolve the issue and made a pair of computer glasses for me free of charge. My glasses came in 3 days later. With insurance the cost of the frames and lenses was 900.00 my part was more than 300 of that cost. After 1 week with the glasses the nose pad on the frame just fell off. I took them back to the office and they had to order me a new frame. This's took another 3 days to get. The office replied as if this was an insurance provider issue. It very well may have been but as the end user I hold the office responsible after all they are the ones who accepted the insurance, ordered the glasses and eventually fails to provide the services. They did try to help but in the end I was the one who paid and was delayed in receiving. I had been with this office before the new owners took over and was very happy with the prior service. Not so much with new. As it has been said. There are many providers to chose from and I will try another for my next visit. read more

My daughter had broken her glasses last night. They would not stay on and she can't see very well without them. We went to this business and asked about repairs, temporary until I get my vision insurance information from my new job. The employee, Kim, looked up the glasses online. The replacement glasses were not available until next week since she would have to order them. Once she realized the glasses would not be available, she went around the shop looking for a matching, or close to, set so my daughter could see. Most employees would order and tell you to have a good day. Kim went above and beyond as she found a pair of frames that would work until we could get a more permanent set. I have never seen this type of service at any other business in Murrieta. This type of service speaks volumes. Thank you for not giving up and helping my daughter to see immediately instead of later.
