    Chrisshi bowl

Great spot for a decently priced chirashi bowl! I like that they allow substitutions of different fish. I also enjoy the hot tea that's provided. I asked for spicy mayo the last time I went and it was not like what I'm used to. It tasted kind of gingery? It wasn't bad, just not what I was wanting (literally just kewpie and sriracha!). Service is decent.

I come back every week. The sushi was super fresh and you can really taste the quality, especially in the salmon, it just melts in your mouth. The rolls were simple but done really well. I also liked how straightforward everything was. It's mostly self-serve with the kiosk, which makes ordering quick and easy, but the staff are still around and super helpful if you need anything. The food does take a little time to come out, but it's clearly made fresh so it's worth the wait. The environment is clean, organized, and has a chill, no-frills vibe. It's not super fancy, but it's comfortable and perfect for a casual meal. It can get a bit busy and seating is somewhat limited during peak hours, but that just shows how popular it is. Overall, great spot if you want high-quality sushi without spending a ton. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

Chirashi Bowl: This had a great variety of fish and lots of food. The salmon, scallop, eel, and shrimp were great. However, the tuna, albacore, and yellow tail had a mushy texture. The rice was good. Fresh Salmon Roll (+ Avocado): Great rolls, good portion of food, especially for the price. The food portions were big and filling. You can sit down and then order via QR code, or order via the kiosk. There was complementary tea, which was lovely. The disposable chopsticks were not the greatest quality, but they sufficed. I would probably come back to have their salmon or cooked protein options.

Amazing sushi place to try! I usually get their salmon rolls and they're always fresh and delicious. Their spicy mayo is pretty amazing as well. Definitely the best spicy mayo I've ever had. The service was good. It's self served though their kiosk but if you have any questions, the employee will help you. The sushi took a bit of time to make but it was definitely worth it! The ambiance was nice! It was clean and organized and I liked how they decorated the shop. The seating can be limited during rush hour though.

This used to be where I would go to pick up super cheap (and decent quality) sushi about 10 years ago The prices have gone up significantly since then but this place still provides the best value when it comes to dining out for sushi. I chuckle though when I see reviews here saying this place offers "authentic" sushi. No disrespect but this is a typical Korean run Japanese restaurant. I don't mean that as negative because this place is quite good for that type do restaurant. I have been to most of their other locations as well and this Bellevue one used to be a bit different in that they did not accept credit card. Now They do. You can also order delivery using Uber Eats. Prices are a lot higher via delivery though (fyi). Their rolls are good but I recommend getting the chirashi bowl (best value). Their kama is also surprisingly good as well.

My go to for fresh, not-splurging, sushi fix! Usually we have it to go but decided to eat in since they have renovated a while back. Like the self service kiosk as a secondary option to ordering at the counter with friendly staff. Though place is small, it is well designed for different party sizes- from single person counter to joint 2 or 4 tops over bench. Love they always have complimentary hot tea ready to go. Very efficient operation. Had the bento box, always a great value and most importantly tasty. The fatty tuna nigiri was delicious. Tried the grilled spring onions, simple, tasty and refreshing and my favorite of all time- grilled yellowtail collar Hamachi Kama. So satisfying and filling. The citrus soy sauce is perfect with rice.

My first ever chirashi bowl and it was so satisfying! All the seafood paired so nicely together. I don't get sushi often, but when I do, I definitely am a salmon fan. This bowl's salmon was also my favorite, and I was so sad when it was over. Definitely more of a casual eatery- you place your order at the kiosk in the front and seat yourself. There is hot tea at each table and soy sauce. Worth a visit :3

I'm back. For probably the 500th time. Crazy to believe the last review I did for Musashi's was 9 years ago! The service is still stellar. Options are tried and true. There really is nothing more to say. I will be continually supporting this biz and am so happy to see they're doing well. Hands down best bang for buck sushi in Seattle.

    Salmon Chirashi Bowl

Musashi's has some of the finest, freshest fish around and is a top recommendation for sure. This location has better spicy mayo than the Wallingford one. Plus it's in a large plaza so there's ample parking. What makes each chirashi bowl so wonderful is the ability to customize and tailor to preferences. Regardless of how many fish you specify (or get the standard bowl), it's the same amount of protein. Skipping the chirashi feels like a mistake, but honestly you can't go wrong with any item here. Chirashi Bowl with Salmon, Seared Salmon, and Roe - I always get salmon and seared salmon, but usually include other fish. Just to err on the side of caution, I skipped the tuna due to mercury awareness having had poke a few times earlier. However, I think this puts into perspective how custom and beautiful each bowl can be. Salmon is so fatty and thick and the spicy mayo is magical.

One of my all time local favorites! Been dining here for the last decade, and the quality and freshness never disappoints. I usually order the Chirashi bowl and the Musashi roll, which are a couple of the most popular items on the menu. The chirashi bowl comes with a variety of fish, and the quality always taste top notch. The Musashi roll is a california roll topped with spicy tuna and spicy mayo, which makes it so delicious and more filling. Both items have such good portions for the price. The service is quick and efficient. You just order up at the front and sit down at a table, so it's pretty straight forward. I enjoy the cozy ambience but there is very limited seating. I will continue dining here whenever I want to get a chirashi fix in!

Wow!! The salmon is SO good here. I was surprised to see how big the salmon is on the nigiri. It tasted really fresh and good. It's the perfect fish to rice ratio in my opinion. The chirashi bowl is also worth it. We ordered a side of noodle salad and beef skewer, those were good too. However the rolls were just ok, they were my least favorite so I wouldn't order the rolls. I would come here again just for the salmon nigiri!! The seating area is a bit small. I wish there was an area to grab utensils and napkins, as there were none on the table when food arrived.

Musashi's really is the loml. I frequent the Redmond location many times, but this time ended up at the Bellevue one. It may look closed on the outside, but as long as the open sign is up they're there! The inside is really small and cozy, and they have complementary tea at every table. I absolutely love dining at Musashi's as the environment is so comforting. While I typically go for the classic rolls and nigiri, this time I decided to get the Musashi roll instead. It was gigantic and extremely value for the price. I loved the abundance of spicy tuna and spicy mayo, and the fish eggs added such good flavor to it. The rice was cooked perfectly as well, and this roll was absolutely delicious. I'll always be the biggest fan of Musashi's!

We stopped in on our trip through Seattle. It's a neat concept where you can order on the screen or sit and scan at the table to order on your phone. Sushi and food was good and pricing was affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We all smelled like fried food after leaving which we didn't like though.

I honestly wish the Tukwila location had some of the same options as the Factoria location because they both have their pros and cons. I still think I like the seared salmon better at Tukwila, BUT the uni at Factoria?! SO GOOD. It wasn't overly fishy at all, which I loved! And out of all the sushi rolls we tried, the sauce on their California roll was FIRE. Like... I was not expecting it to be that good! We also tried their yakitori chicken thigh and chicken skin. We went with the chicken skin, and honestly, I expected it to be a little more crispy and crunchy. It was definitely different than what I was expecting, but still worth trying! We ordered some much good rolls. The scallop salad wasn't that great wouldn't get that again. And of course, we had to get dessert! The mille crepe cakes were actually really good--light, creamy, and thankfully not overly sweet, which I loved. Definitely a nice way to end the meal! Service was good, although they were a little forgetful here and there. But there were only two people working, so I totally understood. When I first stepped in the door, I was so glad I brought a light jacket with me even though it was 80 degrees outside. I'm not sure why, but the restaurant had the A/C turned up so high that even the people eating next to us had their puffer coats on. Even with my coat on though, I was still cold. The interior is small and modern. However, the tables and menus were extremely and unpleasantly sticky. The soy sauce bottle was also empty at our table. I ordered the HAPPY HOUR CHIRASHI BOWL ($22 which is half the size and price of the usual $44 Chirashi Bowl off their main menu). It came with two pieces of salmon, two pieces of albacore, two pieces of hamachi, and two pieces of some other tuna (or maybe it was mackerel) plus tamago (egg), and Ikura (salmon roe) on top of their signature purple rice. The presentation was nice, but the fish quality lacked. The albacore in particular was so chewy I had trouble biting through it and so I knew it wasn't fresh; I ate one piece but left the other in the bowl because I didn't want to chance it. Regardless, my stomach regretted it later in the evening and the next day... Service was fine, but we had to waive down the waiter both to order and get our check. When he asked if I wanted a box for my piece of albacore, I told him it was too chewy and he said sorry and walked away. Overall, I was unfortunately disappointed by my experience at Kuro. For a recommended place on Yelp, I expected a better environment and fresh fish. Overall: 2/5 for food, 3/5 for service, 2/5 for atmosphere
