Following a rousing game of Mini Golf in the mall, my friends and I decided to go for sushi. Sushi Omiya has bright booth seating that reminds me of a 50's diner for some reason. The style is conveyor belt style - you see the roll you like and grab it off the belt. How do they know how much you ate? The plates are color coded and depending on the color is the price you pay. I got kind of a mix of different rolls, I couldn't tell you all the names but my share was a little under $20 and they allowed us (party of 4) to pay separately so not a bad deal. I had 5 or 6 rolls. If you prefer a specific roll or otherwise a train will deliver it, which was fun to watch it whiz by dropping off orders. If you're looking for sushi while spending some time in the mall, Omiya isn't bad and thanks to the conveyor, service is fast, just don't hesitate if you see one you like.

You can see on right side where I scratched and the film forms little balls. This has never been properly washed.

My review apparently disappeared. It's a cute concept with the little car that runs back-and-forth with the fact that are filthy cannot be overlooked. Update: yes, I have food poisoning :( I want to emphasize here that I'm not new to the conveyor concept. I've been doing conveyor Sushi for 20 years or more, but this is the first time I've ever seen. We're just the plates are covered with a film of filth. One possible cause of the film is that they do not use the right rice for Sushi, which is with a slightly starchy short grain polished rice. (Calrose is a good example) This is made with a very very starchy short grain rice with minimal if any seasoning and it's very sticky and if you're not scrubbing the layer of starch this rice leaves or not washing in hot enough water then it's not gonna come clean. But it's frustrating because also if they just used the proper rice, this shouldn't have been a problem? The rice shouldn't be so starchy that it stick to everything it touches Anyway, it seems to have built up layers upon layers and if you scratch it like I did in the lower right corner of the photo with the red plate you see that it comes up. I don't understand how nobody in the kitchen notices this. How other people dying here how could they miss this? I've included the photo of the red plate, but it was literally every single plate some of the conveyor some of the little car and how can the staff not see that this is just not clean ?!?! I'm not sure in the cause but what I am sure on is that I have food poisoning now and all of those plates were covered with a dirty film

I was thoroughly impressed about the sushi conveyor belt place! The place inside is very clean and neat, the price is here were amazing, service was good, everything that we ordered was delicious, my favorite was the seared salmon Nigiri with miso mayo. Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back.

My experience here was honestly disappointing. The sushi itself was of poor quality and did not live up to what you would expect from a sushi restaurant. The fish lacked freshness and the overall preparation felt very basic, more focused on speed than quality. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of service. There was absolutely zero interaction from the staff throughout the entire meal. No greeting, no explanation of how the system works, no check in during the meal. The only moment we saw anyone was at the very end, just to process the payment. We even ordered water through the tablet, and it never arrived. If you are looking for a place to eat quickly, with a wide variety of options and fast service from the kitchen, this might work. However, if you are a sushi enthusiast or expect any level of customer service, you will very likely be disappointed. I would not recommend this place for quality sushi or for the overall dining experience.

This is a fantastic, family-friendly spot with tons of variety--there's truly something for everyone. My kids loved almost everything they tried! While it's not the most authentic Japanese cuisine, it's excellent value for the price. The service is also top-notch; when my kids made a mess, the staff handled it quickly and kindly. Highly recommended for families!

We were shopping in the area and decided to stop by for an early dinner since we weren't super hungry. We put our names on the wait list tablet near the mall entrance and noticed there were a lot of names on the list but still open tables. After waiting a few minutes, we decided to go wait at the seating area at the front of the restaurant and sure enough, after a bit, the server asked us how many and sat us down at the table - good thing we didn't stand at the mall entrance any longer. The flavors of the fish, oden, and udon were better than anticipated. The price for quality/quantity was also not bad. We'd be down to come back if we're in the area and looking for a quick bite!

The sushi is a great for conveyer belt sushi. Service was a bit slow but that's fine. My favorites were the scallop & California hand roll. Great place for a quick sushi fix.

Decent food, sushi is fresh. Came on a weekday lunch time, no line. Only one server, but service is still good.

Conveniently located in Factoria. Limited nigiri on the conveyor belt which was ok since I prefer to order and it's delivered on a fast track overhead. Lots of booth or counter seating. Staff is friendly but limited. Would come back for convenience.

We had a really good dinner at Sushi Omiya. Everything we selected and ordered was quite good. In addition to the sushi offerings on the conveyor, that hubs are, I ordered Udon, a seaweed roll and avocado rolls. The udon broth was creamy and had good flavor, and included bamboo shoots as well as the noodles. A little bit salty for me, but I'm more sensitive to salt than perhaps others. The avocado rolls had large fresh pieces of avocado in them, which was a nice surprise. The seaweed salad roll was good, but I can't do any spice and it had red pepper flakes in it. So I only had a bite before giving to another at our table. The rice was perhaps a bit softer than I'm used to with sushi, but it still worked okay. We ran into a neighbor family while we were there who said it was their favorite neighborhood place to eat with their children. I can see why, we'll definitely be back.

Was walking by and discovered this sushi conveyor belt restaurant. We were quickly seated and given the instructions on how to order, service was great. The selection of sushi and food is diverse with good options for raw fish or non-raw fish. Also a large variety of drinks including Japanese sodas, probiotic drinks and drinks to order including hot tea. The quality of food is good and the flavors are great. Prices are very clear and we felt like we got good value for our dining experience.

Hits the spot after a long soccer game! Fish is fresh and you can order off a tablet at the table. Reasonably priced compared to other "conveyor" sushi in the area, especially considering the portions are big.

I also liked how straightforward everything was. It's mostly self-serve with the kiosk, which makes ordering quick and easy, but the staff are still around and super helpful if you need anything. The food does take a little time to come out, but it's clearly made fresh so it's worth the wait. The environment is clean, organized, and has a chill, no-frills vibe. It's not super fancy, but it's comfortable and perfect for a casual meal. It can get a bit busy and seating is somewhat limited during peak hours, but that just shows how popular it is. I ordered online and I wish it was a little clearer but I watched a chirashi bowl , instead I ended up with salmon only bowl with hotate upgrade and ikiro. I also got a couple of toro nigiri and hama rice dish. The fish was pretty good for the price. It was fresh, firm and taste good. The hama was dry and almost burned so I didn't care much. They didn't use sushi rice and just plain rice. I asked that my chirashi bowl comes with no rice but there was rice They were pretty busy when I was there so it's probably better if you order takeout. It was crowded and feels claustrophobic. SUSHI ME @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is available in their lot, and there were plenty of spaces when we arrived. It's shared with other restaurants and businesses in a small plaza, which makes it pretty convenient. I had been craving sushi, and my family and I specifically wanted conveyor belt-style sushi. The usual spot we go to in another part of Bellevue had over a two-hour wait, so we decided to try something new and found Sushi Me. It was only about a 15-minute drive, and when we got there, we were seated immediately in a booth, which was a great start. However, the experience didn't fully live up to expectations. One of the challenges with conveyor belt sushi is that your selection really depends on where you're seated. We were closer to the end, so by the time plates reached us, a lot of the better options were already taken. Because of that, we didn't get much variety, and many of the plates we saw were either repeats or already picked over. We ended up trying a few items, including salmon nigiri, seared salmon, and calamari. The salmon was decent, but the calamari was disappointing it came out cold and was about $6 for just four pieces. Another thing I didn't love was that many of the plates, including the calamari, were uncovered. It didn't feel the most sanitary since the food is just circulating out in the open. Overall, the quality of the sushi was just okay. Some items felt cold or like they had been sitting out for a while, and we kept seeing the same rolls like crunchy rolls and crab-based dishes over and over again instead of a wide variety. They did have some fun extras like donuts, desserts, and edamame, which was nice to see. In the end, the experience was decent, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. I was hoping to try a wider variety of fresh sushi, and this just didn't quite deliver on that.

Fun experience visiting Sushi Me…read more I dont remember the last time I visited a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Sitting down and taking a look at the items on the belt, some immediately popped up to me. The garlic seared salmon was one, the toro, the spicy tuna, the rainbow, dragon (eel), are some of the ones I remembered. Some were better than others. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of some of the fish. The service is great, as you sit there you might not see an item you want, they are happy to make it for you. The different are served on different color plates, each color signifies a different cost. The cost can be anywhere from $3-$10. The place was very busy when we visited. Lot's of dates, families and a few people eating solo. Thanks Sushi Me for reminding me conveyor belt sushi can be fun!
