I needed to replace my upstairs A/C unit. I decided to go with a heat pump a/c unit…read more I met with several companies, and decided to go with Fuse, their bid came in competitive with the other estimates I received and I decided to go with them based on their reputation. This a a company where their positive reviews are real, not enticed. They did not disappoint, they were excellent to work with every step of the way. They are very responsive when you have question and very thorough about the details of the job. I was able to get an appointment for the following week. Dem and Ace were my installation guys. I could not be happier with them. They were a pleasure to work with and did an incredible installation job. I highly recommend Fuse you will not be disappointed.

The tech was on time, professional, and actually took the time, professional, and actually took the time to explain what was wrong with my furnace and AC instead of just rushing through it. They recommend the best option for my home, and the installation crew did a duper clean job, no mess, no hassle. The new HVAC system runs quietly, keeps the whole house comfortable. and I've already noticed a drop in my energy biils. If you're looking for reliable HVAC repair or installation, this is the company to call. Honest, friendly, and dependable - I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I purchased this Louis Poulsen PH 5 pendant a while back but my husband never got to install it. So…read moreI figured to find a professional to help out on this one. Mikhail responded to the project pretty quickly via Yelp and offered to see the situation before giving us a quote on the following day. On the next day, he came over and looked at where we needed to replace the light and gave us a very reasonable quote on the spot. And I agreed to proceed with it and he removed the existing ceiling light with the new pendant light. The whole process, from discussing the quote to he setup to he completed the job (including adjusting the pendant multiple times for me to figure out the most ideal drop of the lamp in our living room) and to pack his stuff, only took 40 minutes! I appreciated his quick turnaround on this! There are always some small projects I want to try doing it myself; but now I know who to reach out if I have a complex one or when I do not know what to do even after watching multiple Youtube videos :)

Unfortunately I discovered I couldn't remove it, so I put out a request for an electrician on Yelp. I received four responses, but Mikhail was the only one who was willing to talk to me over the phone. We set up an appointment the following morning, and he was punctual. Mikhail assessed I have a ballast which required dismantling the fixture and inserting a ballast bypass tube. He did the entire job in about 25 minutes because he bought the necessary 48-inch tube beforehand. He even helped clean my dusty ceiling ventilator. Total cost was $200. I'd definitely recommend him for handy jobs beyond the grasp of an electrical luddite. Yes, I'm talking about me. RELATED - Interested in other services I found on Yelp Project? Had a positive experience with Max Electric and everything went smoothly. Both the initial…read moreinspection (unfortunately didn't get the name of who did it) and the actual work were great. Rigo did a great job with the 3 things I had done: replacing an electrical panel, replacing 2 light fixtures, and installing a smoke alarm. He was on time, knowledgable, and efficient. I don't think it is necessarily the cheapest option around but with something like this, quality and experience matters and they did a great job and handle permits and such. They did exactly what I asked them to do and were responsive over email and able to ask the exact questions they needed which made things seamless. This is not necessarily a bad thing but they could have probably done some kind of "walk through" around the place and found some additional work for me. Upselling is obviously not always a great practice but in my case, there were some things that I wish I had done and I think they could have suggested them and left it up to me to say yes/no to during the initial inspection. For example my kitchen could definitely use at least 1 additional outlet, I should have probably replaced a 3rd light, and so on. I do respect that they don't try to take you on a ride but since it is probably efficient to do things all at once, may have been helpful to discuss (this was also my bad for not noticing these things before). Rigo did a bunch of smaller things that made a big difference too like taking out the packaging for the lights and the old ones as well as the old electrical panel, clearly labeling all the switches very neatly which was not well done before, answering my questions and explaining things in a way that I (someone with little knowledge about most of this stuff) would understand.

Told us we wouldn't be charged for his time but we got a $400 bill for "diagnostics and troubleshooting." On top of this, communication was a mess. Manager called me at 6pm on a Friday and couldn't get two words together, not sure if he was high or just exhausted but it was a super unprofessional call and left me with more questions than answers. Finally got some clarity in an email, but jeez what a mess. Maybe their work quality is good, but I won't be sticking around to find out. I'll be working with someone who is more up front about their work, better at communicating, and doesn't charge so much.

They opened the outlet and found that the wiring was knob-and-tube, which meant replacing the four outlets with GFCIs was not an effective solution, so no work was performed. My main issue was with the billing and communication. Before scheduling, I was told that an estimate and diagnosis would be free. However, after determining that the work could not be completed as originally discussed, I was still charged $150 for the visit. I understand compensating someone for their time and travel. That said, I wish the diagnostic fee had been clearly communicated upfront, especially since the original message specifically mentioned a free diagnosis. The lack of clarity around pricing was frustrating.

We got a free quote from Saul to fix some electrical issues in our home. We also asked Saul to properly rewire the furnace and to add a C wire so we could install a Nest thermostat. He explained everything clearly, including the possibility of needing to open up some drywall, but said he would try to keep any damage to a minimum. They did a fantastic job. Everything feels much safer now, and the work was done really cleanly. We're very happy with the results and will definitely call him again for future electrical work.
