First time I came here was to get some coilovers installed and a muffler delete; Alex was communicative with me about time and updates. I've been going to them ever since for any help and opinions I need as they are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I am grateful to have found people who are so reliable in all aspects. This review is long overdue, I've been bringing my car here for 4 years now and every time was a good experience. To keep it short, their service is amazing and they are super communicative and open with what can or needs to be done and what it would cost. They make sure your car runs great and stand by their work. Your requests and concerns are always heard here and they take the time to explain the what why and how of things. You won't be sold a product or service you don't need. For context of my experiences at Muscle Tuner Auto: I have had various engine bolt ons and suspension parts installed and other specific requests like custom exhaust, aftermarket horns mounted in a particular way, a hardwired dashcam with a custom on/off switch, and others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I encountered issues or strange noises whether it was rattling, clicking, or clunking, they would easily diagnose and sort it out. Somewhere along the way I started coming for routine maintenance of things like fluids and filters. Don't hesitate to reach out for what you need and see for yourself how they do things.

I couldn't find anyone who would do my exhaust swap. I called up Muscle Tuners and they swapped my intake and exhaust. The guys installed the Borla S Type on my stingray! The Muscle crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable! They delivered! My vette sounds amazing now! No issues with fitment on my newly installed parts!

I tried to leave a question, but told me it was to much.... so I have a 2003 BMW 330i that I would like to tune with a possibly of making it a daul exhaust with the blue tips, and maybe a meater hood with door window panals in possibility a light blue carbon fiber, (3 car in neighborhood are identical, want mine a tad different),,. Alex and his brother did a great job on my Mustang ecoboost. I was looking around to add some modifications to my mustang and not a lot of people around South Bay are good with muscle cars specially a turbo one. I called them after reading good reviews on Yelp. It was easy to set the appointment and everything was done accurately as I asked them to. They even assisted me to give me a Cobb tune 101. I wanna thank Alex for an awesome experience, I'm excited for future mods. I'll be back guys!

They did it again! Alex and Angel worked on my E500 by deleting the resonator and straightening out the exhaust for a great price. They are honest peeps and go above and beyond to making sure customers are satisfied.

I brought my Infiniti Q50 red sport here to get some HKS Blow off valves installed. I was skeptical at first cause I did not see anyone else get one installed based off reviews but I gave them a shot and they did not disappoint. Upon inspection it was a clean job and they did not cut any corners and did everything correctly. I will definitely be coming back when I get my down pipes!! Thanks guys!

This is a great and professional shop to go to, especially for tuned, modified and performance vehicles. I've had problems with other shops turning me down or messing with aftermarket parts because they refuse to work with them or don't have experience with modified cars. Shops like these are becoming more rare, but this one truly is a gem. My bf had been coming to this shop for his supercharged Camaro, so I gave them a try when I was in LA for an oil change. Totally reasonably priced and allowed me to bring my own oil (I am particular) and got it done in a timely fashion. I'll be getting another repair here soon as well which they gave me a transparent and reasonable price for. They are extremely knowledgeable and while waiting you can check out the many project cars floating around the shop. (At one point had a Datsun z swapped with a bmw power train).

Recently had the pleasure of doing business with Muscle Tuner Auto. They did the custom exhaust on my 1980 Pontiac Firebird. Made my appointment ahead of time so I was just able to drop my car off ( I highly recommend you do the same ). Alex was extremely helpful and the work on my car was done quickly and nicely at a relatively fair price. i am a owner of a 2005 c6 corvette i took it in after i had seen all their existing reviews and i could not be happier not only did they stay on top of updating me but they also did an amazing job. my car had a bad harmonic balancer which is a part that over time tend to wobble and cause internal damage that part is now fixed and so are others parts i will definitely keep them as my corvette mechanics

Workers Ignored me and even closed the left hatches.

Showed up and immediately felt like I wasn't taken seriously, all the employees just stared at me and made no intentions to help me. I get it, they were possibly busy. However, the lack of attention to detail for a serious customer is what caused me to leave the shop. I was standing there for half an hour and not one employee approached me. These men just stared as if I owed them money. Not cool. I went to get my Camaro SS 2018 worked on. I had lowering springs in the trunk. Instead of leaving a satisfied customer I left with a bad impression. Will never come back. Do not bring your car here. Very unprofessional and rude workers.

I brought my car in over a year ago to install performance lowering springs, but noticed almost immediately the amazing service. I've been to other shops over the years, but this was the first place I've been to where I did not feel like simply a ticket number. Alex and his family treated me with patiences and kindness which seems to be a rarity in the crowded landscape of car shops in Los Angeles. They completed the installation quickly and the price ended up being very affordable. I was so impressed with this service that I have been going back for more than a year now for most of my car needs and for any aftermarket modification. Totally recommend this shop. Spoke to Alex about an H-pipe install. Gave me a quote. Gave me recommendations for which brands. And even answered my questions about potential future projects I want to do with my car. I arrived early and he quoted me an hour and half for the install and he finished it even quicker(30 mins quicker). Sat in a comfy and cool area while he worked on my mustang. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a performance shop, Alex and his team did an awesome job on installing my performance Muffler. When I arrived I explained to Alex I wanted a good sounding muffler but wasn't really sure which muffler MagaFlow or FlowMaster so Alex said let's do a comparison of the 2 before I install it and you can hear the difference and make a choice. These guys are good mechanics. I've taken both American and German cars here and they have never had a problem working on either cars. I have had complex installations done here for a very reasonable price. Today I needed to come in first thing in the morning because I messed up my tail lights trying to do my own installation. Alex got me in right away so I wouldn't get a ticket, and I still made it to work on time afterwards. It's very hard to find a good family owned business like this shop and I feel lucky to have stumbled across it. I recommend all my friends to go here. read more

Brought in a company vehicle because it died on the road. Alex took excellent care of the vehicle. He called with updates on the maintenance progress and was so courteous and polite. After all was said and done, for the amount of work being done, the cost was really low and the turn around time was fast! This is place is good for installing exhaust systems. My friend bought a Borla Cat-back system for her 2010 Dodge Challenger SE and this place installed it for $80, including the dual exhaust rear lower fascia. I came here to install my MOPAR by CORSA performance exhaust for $60. I haven't gotten other services, but I'll look into it in the future. As far as the Body Shop is concerned I do not see an area for curing, for that service I would go to another place that would guarantee their work; but to each their own. read more

I highly highly highly recommend this shop! I've interacted with the whole team but mostly Alex. His customer service is great, he gives great suggestions and listens to what you want. I brought in my 2017 Dodge Challenger 3 times to get worked on. The first time I brought it in, i had them remove my resonators, the second time brought it in to remove my mid mufflers to replace them with some flow master super 10's, and the third time they painted my silver wheels a nice glossy black. Everything they've done to my car has been great with great quality work and also at a really good price as well. Going back to install my lowering springs soon! read more

I'm not normally one to write reviews but Muscle Tuner Auto is a fantastic auto shop tucked away in South Central. a hidden gem!! I brought my 2022 Genesis G70 after speaking with Alex over the phone and making an appointmen. These guys are busy - make an appointmen!! i had an appointment for installing an ANDRO kit and a VelassoTech LED intake. They listened to my concerns and answered each question. They quoted me a price and when I showed up to pick up my car(finished installation the same day!) the same was still the same. Okay, so Muscle Tuner Auto doesn't seem all that impressive on the outside, but there job quality speaks volumes. They are friendly, honest and fair priced. Alex was very polite and professional. This is a father-and-son-owned shop, and you can tell they take pride in doing things the right way. The photos I've posted show the old exhaust parts that were cut and removed, the replacement components, and the finished install underneath the vehicle. Everything was fitted cleanly and solidly--no shortcuts, no sloppy work. They replaced my muffler and repaired the damaged section from the theft in just a little over an hour, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The car sounds right, drives smoothly, and feels properly repaired--not patched together. What I appreciated most was their honesty and efficiency. They explained what needed to be done, got straight to work, and delivered exactly what they promised. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.
