She explicitly stated that due to high demand, my original booking was displaced because I had not purchased an "extensive, expensive package." Essentially, my confirmed slot was given away to a higher-paying customer. ​For context, financial cost is not the issue for me; the issue is basic business ethics and quality customer service. This practice of prioritizing appointments based on spend volume is not disclosed anywhere in their online marketing or booking policies. A reputable business should honor its commitments to all clients, regardless of whether they are coming in for an initial consultation or a premium service. ​Because they choose to treat appointments like an auction rather than a guarantee, they failed to deliver a basic level of professional service. My Cosmelan Experience - Costly and Traumatic Mistake I'm writing this review to warn others who may be considering getting the Cosmelan treatment with Muse Maven. I had the treatment done on February 15, and three months later, my skin is worse than when I started--marked by blotchiness, rough texture, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. What was meant to be an investment in my skin and self-care has turned into a painful and expensive regret. I followed every single instruction to the letter. From adjusting the amount of product to taking breaks when advised, I kept close communication and shared pictures throughout the process. I endured weeks of burning, tightness, itching, and discomfort--at one point, scratching my face in my sleep from the irritation. When I first mentioned not seeing results she said I wasn't using enough. Another time, she said I wasn't using the right cleanser so I had to purchase her brand cleanser. It was always something, but none of those reasons helped. At my follow-up appointment, I raised concerns about the second jar of Cosmelan 2, which seemed off in texture and color, but I was told it was fine. After using this jar, my skin got tight and very red. When I sent her the pictures, she responded saying to take 2 days off and she'd get back to me with a solution within 24 hours. I was freakin out at this time, but guess what? She didn't get back to me. I followed up with her 6 days later and finally got a response. Despite all this, my concerns were not addressed in a timely or supportive way. I received no meaningful guidance beyond "take a break" or "use a different cleanser," while my skin continued to worsen. To make matters more frustrating, there was a delay in follow-up each time she'd ask me to keep her updated. When I finally expressed my disappointment and shared how emotionally distressing this process has been, the response I got was that she'd be willing to provide me with free hydroquinone-based brightening cream. If I wanted to bleach my skin, I would have chosen that route from the beginning. I was looking for long-term, sustainable results--not a band-aid. I invested over $1,500, and now I have to work with my dermatologist to recover the damage that's been done. It's clear to me that there was a lack of transparency about potential risks and insufficient aftercare. If you're considering this treatment, please consult with a board-certified dermatologist first--and think twice before trusting this provider with your skin. A scam, sham, & money grab!! I will never purchase another chemical peel. After trying multiple different med-spas to correct hyperpigmentation, trying everything from superficial to medium depth peels I stumbled upon this esthetician advertising cosmelan peels. Cosmelan is supposedly one of the best peels on the market so I decided to give it a go. I told her about my previous terrible experience with vi peels etc stating how I thought they were a scam because they simply do not work. We proceeded with the cosmelan peel in- office & I got the post care kit. I was hopeful to see some type of results after I paid $1099. My skin began peeling and I waited 3 weeks to see if there's a difference. No difference whatsoever . Just mild peeling. At that point I file a dispute with my bank & she sends in her paperwork & no refund policy to shut the claim down. This is honestly a joke ... I might as well sell scam products too & have people sign a no refund policy right ? Atlanta is truly home to the scammers. Ok fine I give it another chance because there's a touch up included so I booked that and then came in . Skin began peeling again and no difference at all. A literal waste of money. I would have had understanding if there was even a 20% reduction , give me something to work with!! 0% difference. After spending over $1k and the marketing of the product promising atleast some results after even the first week this is just very disappointing . If the peel doesn't really do anything atleast reduce the price . Cosmelan should be no more than $5.99 at the beauty supply store. Because the costs don't match the results. I'm usually not a cheap or pain in the a* customer and like to pay for quality . But I mean seriously !!! Ugh ! I'm done with chemical peels and will not be returning here or any other med spa and will just go to an actual doctor. Ridiculous and misleading !!! Will also go to small claims court & see what the outcome will be she is standing her ground and digging her heels in the sand for the $1k but regardless of the outcome the universe will ensure the $ is returned to me ten fold like it always has. read more

I've been to Muse twice now and have had an amazing experience both times. It's been years since I've had a facial and the last time I just remember the business trying to sell me a line of products I didn't need. I had quite the opposite experience at Muse. Scheduling was easy and when I arrived Jas was very nice. For the first visit she did a custom facial according to what she saw was needed. She explained each step of the facial and every product she used and why those products were necessary. In all honesty, I was hoping this appointment would not end with her trying to sell me all these products. And she didn't. I mentioned how much I appreciated that she didn't push a line of products. And the one product she mentioned she explained why it would be useful. She took another 5-10 minutes after the appointment to give me an overall assessment of my skin, which to my surprise she said was really healthy. She also discussed my current routine and products and explained the difference in OTC products versus clinical strength products. She also suggested returning for a few oxygen facials and explained the benefits. Again, I did not feel pressured to schedule additional services immediately. So I returned for the oxygen facial! As with my first facial, she explained each step of the process and checked throughout the facial to make sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. I've definitely noticed far less, if any, dryness on certain areas of my skin after my two facials. I highly recommend Muse for facials. Also, be sure to read and pay attention to the emails that are sent out ahead of the appointment for directions. Entering the office park behind QT is the best way to get in to the office park, but you'll definitely miss the driveway near Boston Market if you're going to fast. read more

Loved Jazz and my lash lift! She explained each step she was taking very well to both me and her assistant she was teaching, which made me feel confident that she knew what she was doing. I just started using lash boost, but my eyelashes are blonde at the ends so it basically looks like I have no eyelashes without makeup. She tinted them dark and lifted them and they look great! Although the procedure wasn't the most comfortable process in the world, she made sure to make me as comfortable as possible. The process took a little over an hour and is located in an apt complex. I really went back and forth about writing this review because I know she is a small business owner and I understand the power of internet marketing. I am gonna keep this short and sweet. I found her on Instagram, loved what I saw and booked an appointment. There is a similar review around the same time I got my facial. I'm not sure if it was chemically burned or infection but it took a long time to get my skin back right and it still has not fully recovered. After our appointment together I made her aware and she blocked me on social media --which is so silly and immature. I would never harass someone via social media and I never did. She did offer to help me repair my skin before blocking me (I guess blocked me when I dbut I couldn't even imagine going back after I was so torn up walking around with my skin like that. My skin is now still red/blotchy in the areas that were initially burned. Please be more aware when clients say they have sensitive skin. I have had plenty of facials/treatments before and never had anything like this. There will be no back and forth under this review but looking at my skin close to a year later I was moved to make this review. I came to muse maven for a microdermabrasion and ended up with a bacterial infection on my face that Jas does not want to be responsible for. The customer service while I was there was great. She was very nice during the process. My skin did burn with the steps following the cleanse which she claimed was normal because "the mouth area is sensitive" so I allowed her to continue. But instead of apologizing for her mishap, she blamed me for the infection and tried to say it was a viral outbreak. According to a dermatologist (which I'm sure knows more than an aesthetician) the infection was caused by the service. My skin literally peeled off of my face and my skin was raw for days and still is. I did not even receive an apology. Instead, I was told that other clients enjoyed their service. Which I don't understand why she thought I would care. Go at your own risk. In response Jas: Like I told you... idc about someone else! This is MY face! I do not want you to touch my face if you already messed it up. Stop talking about other people. They have nothing to do with me. Period. I went to a dermatologist, a DOCTOR, who said it was NOT a viral infection but a bacterial infection that came from the service.
