Update; Dec 30th 2025. We were sent to Studio City to sober living. We were in control of when we BAC and UA. We were allowed to come and go as we wanted and drugs were inside the houses, the house managers were behaving like a client without any order what's so ever! I reached out to Jose the director, Karina, and Jim begging them to send us home that I would relapse there due to the classes , the activity going on and the unstableness of this program, no one responded in my struggle and I actually relapsed while there and no one even knew it. It wasn't until my husbands kids were involved in DV in FL that they finally booked us a fight from LAX. Upon arrival we checked in and the program did not add any checked bags for our flight home!!!!! We called Jose and of course he took his time to get someone back to the airport to pay for our luggage. We waited almost 2 hours nearly missing our flight for someone to come meet us to pay. The only person who's been anywhere help along the way has been CORY which they fired when a client DIED at their program for their negligence but was fired for reasons that are pure bullshit when staff and Jose should've held accountable for these things happening!!!! Nikki, Logan, David, Joe, Johnny, Tyler, and Matt are great. Do not put trust or your life in the hands of Jose, Jim or Karina! My lawyer will make sure this place is held accountable. I was sent to muse Dec 1st. Upon arriving at the airport my husband and I got our tickets we got two complimentary alcoholic beverages on the plane! Of course we drank were addicts, we got to Milton house and from there I was sexually harassed by staff, my food got stolen, and I was hospitalized for the negligence of them promising they would accommodate my insurance from FL which wasn't true. I had to threaten to leave and sue before they finally paid for my insulin after me being hospitalized for my blood sugar being over 700. They nade me but my own syringes out of packet and handle them which I am a recovering iv User. Upon coming back, male staff are supposed to announce their self before walking in to the females rooms, and one of the staff did not fly to the director and file not one but two grievances and nothing was done. I then continued to beg them to send us somewhere else which they did and they landed us in A place called San Pedro, which is more like a hostile with tons and tons of people everywhere smoking weed and drugs in and out of the facility. They've been sent us to.Collett house with a man that beat his wife. I am also a domestic violence survivor and I reported it, and nothing was done. I was made to be the bad guy. Finally, one of the directors told us they would move us to a certain house so we packed our bags got in the van and was told we weren't going to that house. We were going someplace else. I then told him I was just ready to come home to get us a flight back home. The managers of the house are not licensed techs and they are handling my medication, my insulin was also lost for three days along with my insulin pump. It keeps me alive.. I do not recommend anyone going to this program whatsoever, and I will also be pursuing a little suit against muse and collete house and everyone involved! read more

While Muse may have helped some people they also neglect their patients. They could definitely work on listening to the needs of many and follow through with patients wishes. When I left messages regarding my sons transfer from detox to his next phase, I didnt get return calls. When he left detox the very first day he was allowed to go out without a sober companion same his second day. It was his 3rd day when I received the call no mother ever wants to receive. My son died while in their facility. I didnt get answers, I wasn't allowed to go past the front gate. I went there a couple time to pick up his belongings. One time they knew I was coming. Some young guy met me and my cousin on the sidewalk. He said he didnt know who worked that day. Come on it a small place. I couldn't get any answers. No body that has been addicted for a long time should never go to sober living after detox. This was my only child. I spoke to a worker there months later I got through to someone in the office. I was asking why they allowed him to go alone and got a response of he's an adult and makes his own decisions. Yet through my sons time with the detox facility they knew to call me about anything regarding my son. He told them I was allowed to be involved. Nobody from Muse Culver City has ever reached out to me about anything. My son should have just stayed with me. He would be still alive and with me. Very negligent. They dont check when patients come back from being out nor do a check out during the night. Be careful when trusting treatment centers with a loved one. Do your homework. Many places just want the money and many die in sober living facilities. Some even get high. So please do your research. read more

Grateful to Muse Treatment for helping save my life. When I got to Muse I was homeless, broken, lost and hopeless. I lost everything that ever meant anything to me. This was not my first rodeo but by far the most painful relapse. My time at Muse helped restore my hope and faith. The genuine love, care and kindness the staff shows is unparalleled. Shout-outs... (Mind you they are running 4 houses so when I say they are busy, THEY ARE BUSY) Thank you all so much your love shines through your work. My house manager Jenn, she is freakin' ROCKSTAR!!! Whenever I needed anything, this amazing woman made it happen, even on her days off. She genuinely cares and it shows!!!!!! Thank you Jenn I appreciate and love you! The case managers, Valerie, Mary Anne, and Keekee, not only were their groups extremely helpful, informative and interactive but they would come to the houses to meet with clients if ever a client was struggling (that is not something that happens in other programs and I have been to many). They are ON TOP of each and every clients individual situations, court dates, and any other important appointments. Personally I needed all my progress and UA's sent into my sons lawyer and the judge residing over the guardianship case with my son, and Valerie ALWAYS made sure everything was not only sent in, but sent in early even offering more positive reports then asked for. Thank you, I cannot express my gratitude enough. My incredible one of a kind therapist Evan, he has helped me work though some serious trauma in a gentle loving way. He listens, gives advice & suggestions. He has helped me repair important relationships in my life. He offers the option to do family sessions as well (which are extremely helpful). Thank you for not only helping me repair my life, but for the kind loving way you do it. Techs... Craig, Cassie, Kyle, Chassidy, Justin, Taylor, Zach, Shantel, Meghan, Mac, Brittany, Victoria I could go to any single one of them (and did MANY, MANY times) with any problem or personal struggle and each and every one of them either helped me work through it, gave me advice or were the ear I needed to vent to. I cannot express my genuine gratitude for them. They are not obligated to do that, but they actually care about ALL the clients and want to see each and every one of us succeed so anything they can do to help they ABSOLUTELY WILL DO. Their love and dedication shows daily! If it were not for ALL these unique, loving individuals I would have run right back to the streets when things got hard, because that's the life I got comfortable living. Change was (and still can be at times) uncomfortable for me, but these AMAZING people NEVER ONCE gave up on me. They constantly encouraged me, supported me, and uplifted me. Muse treatment center is a complete joke they don't have any structure at all.. I am currently here at the moment with my wife,, once you go through the detox strange which was okay...you go to a php level of care!! Which you go to sober living then you have to go to "process groups" everyday which is a complete waste of time from 9am-4pm.... The staff that runs the groups ask "US" the patients what do we want to learn today!!! My wife and I walked to the CVS pharmacy to get her meds,, which we had to pay for out of pocket... I personally handed her prescriptions to staff just for them to get stolen!!! read more

Stay the heck away!!! Anything tied to resurgence is a huge red flag. People die here, people get brokered and paid to be here, people get sick here, and people do not get better here! I've worked and been a client at muse and resurgence. This is one of the worst places you can go to if you're seeking treatment. The vilest dirtiest, most unprofessional, slack, rehab of all time. My daughter got pregnant there(!!!!!!), waited ten days for the proper psych meds to be delivered, never saw a doctor - just a doctors assistant who emailed the doctor-- spent 24 hours unable to use the vomit and diarrhea-filled bathroom which no one bothered to clean and was then shipped off to a sober living facility after two weeks with 20 minutes to pack! No structure, total lack of organisation, inexperienced rude staff and zero communication with parents. Once she arrived at the sober living place they immediately realised the mistake and said they had been told NOTHING by Muse about her and needed to send her to a higher level of care. DO NOT GO TO MUSE. read more

To begin MUSE let my nephew DIE of a drug overdose in his room in their "detox" section of their facility. I went to the facility to pick up his belongings and they tossed a big box of item thrown together which WERE NOT HIS ITEMS. Then they scurried around trying to find key & then claimed they took picture of ALL POSSESSIONS when a client come in, "we'll not all item" once we saw a few picture they claimed were his. ***This center is a joke, I am very fortunate I have never had a problem with drug but to me the open forum of the facility invites drug uses as I just walk into their backyard area to find my nephew's possessions and ANTONE could walk-in with whatever they want aka DRUGS. I do not want to put any star.......ZERO.... This was the worst worst place for the addiction treatment center. I do not strongly recommend this place at all. They are thief. When I could not handle there and decided to c/out, they didn't return a pill and money(change). So now I called them to get them back, then you know what they said...... money is a tip, and they already returned all pills. OMG.... I never said to them a tip!!!!!!! This is not a hotel, excuse me........!!!!!! They also told me that this is a business..... Why do I have to give one star? How about negative 15 stars? Horrible! Borderline fraud in my opinion. Unorganized. Ask a question and you get passed to someone else until you end up with the same incapable person you started with. I didn't witness any actual rehab whatsoever. I had to walk out and when I told them that they wouldn't even let me use the bathroom. I think I lasted 3 days and there was never soap in the bathroom ever. Another guy I met there also had to get out and went somewhere else. An actual doctor may or may not even show up each week and if you request one they do not provide, even though they tell you they will. I have visited friends at other places and they are much better. This place is a slight step up from jail. read more

I have been to a few treatment centers. Unfortunately, that is what it took for me. But Muse is where it all fell into place. The staff here actually care. Nicole, Dylan, Hai and Michelle are just a few of the names I can think of that truly cared for me and showed me love until I learned to love myself. Muse was so much more than just a rehab for me. They became family. I also made some forever friends there. If you put in the work and show them you want to change, they will do everything in their power to help you. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Muse. They truly became family and helped me rebuild my life and my relationships with so many people in my life. I cannot even express how grateful I am for you all. Thank you for loving me and showing me I was worth so much more than I was treating myself. read more

They lied to me about being in network with my insurance company, Nicole is a con artists, she also lied to me that they their facility had proper seating for a person who is handicapped with a total hip replacement. All of the chairs were too low to the ground, they have tiny cheap ice packs that do nothing for pain, I was in hip pain because of the low chairs. Feces on the shower floor, piss stained toilet seat. The staff fill out your survey here, the lady reads the questions to you from behind a computer opposite of you and she enters your answers to the questions, who know knows if she is accurately answering the questions. You never get to review the staffs answers to confirm that she answered the questions correctly, I was never allowed to see the answers or the questions on the survey. When they enroll you into the program they do not allow you to see enrollment contract they just tell you to sign whenever they need a signature, the staff person sits opposite of you with the computer monitor facing him. The do not sanitize the pill tray between clients, they do not sanitize the blood pressure cuff between clients, they do not sanitize the chairs arm rest between clients. A person with scabs all over his arm sat in the chair before me and the nurse did not sanitize the anything before she invited me into her small office to take vitals and dispense pills to me that I had no idea what the pills were that they had some doctor prescribe to me, I never met the doctor, nor did I ever talk to the doctor. When I was having severe hip pain they refused to take me to my doctor who was 20 minutes away. They refused to take me to the hospital so that I could have my hip examined by a physician. They charge $10,000 a week and when they talk you into coming to treatment Nicole does not tell you the cost of treatment. You can not take any photos of the facility because they search you and take away your cell phone. read more
