We just celebrated my husband's birthday at the Museum Club (The Zoo ) and can't say enough good things. We were originally going to use their large patio (with new rain/sun cover) but due to weather moved inside. The staff was friendly and SUPER helpful. We had our own bartender and decorating was encouraged. Used Artisan's kitchen as our caterer and hired the house band The Zookeepers ( They are awesome!!!) If you're looking for a place to host an event I would definitely recommend the museum club!

Favorite bar in town! My parents used to go here years ago and recently it became a favorite of mine! They have awesome line dancing classes during the week, really good live music, and a few pool tables. I love the decor too!!

Way back in the day when I first attended NAU, during freshmen orientation week, we gathered in the old men's gym and administrators met with us and provided a verbal walk-through of the campus and City of Flagstaff. No BS, we were told to avoid going to the Museum Club because it was too rowdy, and we would likely get in trouble there. Therefore, it was not until April 10, 2021, after the Covid thing had calmed down, that I and my old high school buddy rode our Harleys there and stopped in when they opened at 11 AM and had a cocktail. I forget our bartender's name, but she talked about the facility and explained how she came to work there. Very nice lady; interesting stories. Cannot wait to return and sample some menu items.

    Slow night in the bar

It was a last minute thought to stop into the Museum Club on a Monday night. It was too early to head to the hotel, and my wonderfully adventurous wife and I decided to just take a look. It's slow on a Monday night, and guessing from the random guitar & singers it's Amateur Night @ the Museum Club. We easily found a seat and settled back to listen to these folks pour their heart & souls out through their guitars. Their skills were pretty darn good and, definitely better singers than me. The bar is so old school cool as is the entire place. I can only imagine this place is hopping Friday & Saturday nights, but tonight the laid back vibe was the perfect ending to a busy day. Hand in hand with my wife, we sipped Guinness and enjoyed the atmosphere, people watching and of course great conversation. The volume level was absolutely perfect to hear them and hear each other talk. I'm not even sure if they have food, but the beer was cold... 'Nuf said. So, if you're looking for a laid back Monday night, point your car towards the Museum Club on a Monday night to hear the locals entertain you for free. Will we be back? Yes, you can count on it!

Well it's been at least 20 years since I spent a Saturday night at the Zoo Club, and not much has changed. I was in town and went with my daughter so she could experience it. What fun. We had a great bartender who made a mean watermelon Moscow mule for me. There was a great band up from Tucson that was fun and had a great harmonica player (self taught we are told). Not much has changed except the smoking patio and security cameras. Still an entertaining place to be on a Saturday night. Way to keep it going Museum club.

Okay, I admit I'm a tourist, in Flagstaff for my nieces graduation from NAU. I LOVE Flagstaff. What a great town...very impressive. We basically stumbled upon Museum Club because my niece had such fun there over her years there. This place is unique and epic. Historic and unusual and fun and AWESOME. Dirt cheap drink prices and an environment that might not exist anywhere else...and we travel extensively! Have I gushed enough? I read these 1 star reviews here and I think...this is a bunch of whiny NAU freshman who's fake ID was exposed and they're unhappy being given the boot. As to the persistent "racist" label I've read....I gave a young African American guy my cover charge money. The band the night we were there was the Hopi Clansman. At least 70% of the bar attendees was Native American. I suppose I was there on an unusual night...but I suspect not? A racist bar that occasionally has "diversity" night? Hmmm. My opinion...this place is unbelievably wonderful. I wish I could come here a lot and I don't even like Country and Western music! Plus...the drinks are insanely strong!

The Museum Club, this log cabin was a Hot-spot for locals & tourists alike. Country Music & Southern Rock until midnight, then the Thump Thump of House Music / Rap begins. As a touring Band, we were unaware of the late night metamorphosis, the whole crowd changed and the club turns into a Teen Club complete with No Alcohol Served. During this change over was when I noticed the Spiritual presents within this historic location. You never know who may stop in at the Museum Club as this is right on Route 66, this road has been known as the Mother Road, heavily traveled over the years from Chicago to Los Angeles. About an hour ride to the Grand Canyon scenic Southern Rim Views. My visit was in 1992

There were pull pork, salad, corn bread and butter, mac & cheese, some kind of purple-ish cold slaw, mash potatoes and gravy, and a homemade cinnamon apple cake. Several different bbq sauces. They served some alcohol. You have to buy it, of course. The entertainment was funny and great. Loved all the songs they sang. Dinner started at 7pm. Entry to dinner started at 6:30pm. All the young servers were great. They were busy and helpful. They had animals, birds, mini golf, this 4 table ping pong table, escape room, axe throwing, old photo shoot ($15pp), mini museum, big chess game, connect 4, etc. But we didn't get to enjoy all the games because we accidentally took the long way to get to Blazin' M Ranch. Instead of 30 mins, it took us like 45 mins ish. By the time we arrived, everyone was starting to go in the barn for the dinner and show. We really enjoyed this event. https://blazinm.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=gbp

The best is to grab a strong beverage of choice or two at the saloon beforehand to make it all so much funnier. A few extra fun touches before the dinner show:: a mini rail ride around the property and hanging out with the petting zoo animals. We paid for our old west portraits to get taken and at $40 for a couple to try on the costumes and make it happen was fun. As far as the petting zoo, bring some fresh produce in your pockets for the goats and the absolutely charming mini horse Gucci. He steals the petting zoo show. The dinner: soooo much great BBQ and dessert. We had delicious smoked chicken and pulled pork. Sides of Mac and cheese, homemade slaw, honey glazed corn bread, homemade mashed potatoes and the award winning grandmas apple cinnamon powdered cake. They encourage you to grab seconds. We couldn't even finish our firsts. Ok the show: it was outright hilarious. The owners and hired gun Eric Wildman Williams absolutely put on the next comedy and music infused hour show. You won't want that to ever end. I cannot say this enough: it was well worth the VIP package price we paid. If 10/5 stars were available, that's what they would get.

There is a visitor center and two trails here. The Rim trail at a pretty even 0.75 miles is great for people who want a stroll that follows the canyon rim (out and back trail). You can see the structures from the rim, but it's even better with binoculars. The Island trail is slightly longer at 1 mi, but a steeper 185 vertical feet into the canyon with a whole bunch of stairs at the beginning, and returns the same way. I guess people get too tired to climb back up since there are numerous signs warning of the steep climb back. The trail begins at the back door exit of the visitor center, which they close at 4 pm (the entire monument closes at 5 pm, so they don't want anyone to start the trail and get locked in). Both trails were great and they had informational signs along the way. I really liked the Island trail since you get up close and personal with the structures. The visitor center was standard - offering a gift shop, bathrooms outside, and information about the history and significance of the area. The ranger staffing the information desk was pretty patient with the group of tourists and determining if they were fit to do the Island trail. It's a totally different vibe from the Grand Canyon, so don't expect huge views.

Our tour guide, Marco, was fantastic and great at answering questions for our little group of 4. The mansion really is just a showcase of how a wealthy person's home from the early 1900's. You get a glimpse into their business and personal lives as well as the type of furniture employed in the household. The tour was interactive and nice. The self guided tour is just literally walking around the mansion so there isn't too much to see but it makes for a nice, short walk.
