Some things can wait as I am just learning in my free time but others like a separating fingerboard are important for playing in general so it was nice to be guided a bit on their necessity. Ultimately it is my decision what to fix and took them up on the fingerboard and it looks great! Really love it. I was also surprised that they cleaned my case. Because I just got it, I hadn't taken the time to clean the inside yet and was pleasantly surprised to see it had been cleaned. Feels like a nice personal touch 10/10. Will def go back for any more work I get done or if I want to upgrade instruments

You get a $1 "Pawn Buck", lol wait wait that's not a loan offer, its a bill, we actually spoke to a customer??? Ok ok heres your imagination participation trophy for showing up with something valuable. The ticket says I'd need $64+ to redeem it after 90 days, highlighted by a big purple-circled $16.25 "itemization of the finance charge" that feels like they just made up a number and hoped I wouldn't notice. Storage fee, doc prep, the whole menu of "because we can" charges. Meanwhile, another buyer on Pacific Ave offered $68 on the spot. $68 vs $48, and zero chance of my coin becoming their new wall mount. This isn't pawning....this is comedy hour with your assets as the punchline. Washington has rules on these fees for a reason, and the $16.25 line smells like it's doing the cha-cha around them. If you're in the olympia area and enjoy losing money with a side of creative accounting, go right ahead. Everyone else? Take it to a legit coin shop to at least get spot prices... I must tell you how wonderful of a school this is…read more Each and every teacher (Angela, Sarah, Trent, Eli) demonstrate conventional and non conventional teaching methods, kindness, warmth, approachability and passion. My daughters are all in piano and my littles picked up an additional instrument. My daughter is learning flute and loves it, even if right now it is just a year of learning to blow correctly. My five (now six) year old picked up drums and will randomly start beating a tune using different surfaces where ever we find ourselves. She is hearing music in everything around her. Music 1st/Tuned In also demonstrates grace when I have mommy meltdowns, when I am late on payment because I am waiting on paid medical, and when I try to work the schedule around a second job. It is a little cramped in that big house, but it is a house of love in our family. I can't thank you enough.

After trying several used pianos, none of which had the sound I wanted, I played 3 different Kawai models--used and new--to compare how they sounded and their key action. I don't know how anyone can buy a piano without playing it or being able to compare it with others. I told Rick what I was looking for and he showed me the used pianos and the brands I was interested in, mainly Kawai and Yamaha. He was encouraging and helpful. I didn't feel pressured for time or to buy. Ultimately I chose a new Kawai 200. Rick and I agreed on a price and my piano was delivered within a week by the piano movers that Prosser uses. Fortunately Rick had prepared me that the piano would get increasingly out of tune until it was ready to be tuned 6 weeks after acclimating to my home. After it was tuned, I don't think I could have loved its sound more! Any of you with an instrument you have loved can understand how hard it is to finally give it up. I tried pianos at Tacoma's and Seattle's Prosser's but put the decision off for about 2 years because I was afraid I'd regret my purchase, that I wouldn't love its sound at least as much as the piano I'd played for 40 years. It's been a year and I couldn't be happier with my new Kawai 200! They just rolled it into my garage. My warehouse is directly across the street from my house, on the same route back to their shop. I offered to grab a piece of paper, write and sign a waiver releasing them of any liability, and even offered one hundred dollars for the quick drop off. The crew told me it was an insurance issue, but when I spoke to the owner, he said it was not insurance. It was simply policy. He was matter of fact and showed no interest in helping or even listening. They were perfectly willing to take my old refrigerator six miles away to their warehouse and deal with it there, but when it came to dropping it off at my warehouse, right across the street from my house and directly on their route, suddenly it was a problem. I tried to reason with the owner, explaining how simple it would be, but he just was not hearing me. I was the last delivery of the day, and it would have taken no more than two minutes. We spent more time standing there talking about it than it would have taken to make it happen. So instead, they left it sitting in my garage, where it has stayed ever since. Every time I open that middle garage door and see it sitting there, I am reminded that it could have been in my warehouse where it belongs. It takes up space and serves as a daily reminder of how this business handled a simple, reasonable request. That decision cost them the sale of the oven and microwave I bought elsewhere, and probably more through word of mouth. They lost a loyal customer, and for what? Two minutes of time. It is his business, and he can run it how he wants. I respect that. But common sense went right out the window. This was never about insurance. It was about policy and a lack of flexibility. The owner's public response did nothing to change that impression. I am keeping this at one star because his reply only confirmed my experience. Instead of owning the situation or acknowledging what really happened, he repeated an inaccurate story that does not reflect the facts. That response alone speaks volumes about how this business handles customer feedback. Sometimes the coldest thing in the room is not the refrigerator.
