Pretty solid ramen place in Hoboken. The broth was so flavorful and delicious. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and the chashu was tender.

Delicious Ramen stop for a no-frills, comforting experience. The Bao buns are fire & their ramen is perfectly slurpy goodness. The ambiance is ok & lighting could've been better but food service is quick. This should be the stop for your next craving.

Got the black tonkatsu ramen and it was ok. I think both the noodle and the broth could use some improvement. I prefer the noodle texture to be more chewy, and was hoping that the broth would be more flavorful.

Dining experience was great - you order on your phone and pay on the app as well. The food comes quickly and served to you. My ramen was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Truly one of the most aesthetically pleasing and best priced ramen places I have been too! This spot on Washington St serves up authentic Japanese ramen and bao buns. I ordered the Muteki Ramen and for $18, the bowl was bigger than my head! It was loaded with toppings such as bean sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms, bamboo, scallions, eggs and more. We also ordered the Karaage Chicken Buns and Chasu Pork Buns and they were so delicious - the perfect addition to this amazing comfort meal. The style of this restaurant made me feel like I was back in Japan with the seating arrangement and open kitchen - it was so cool being able to see the cooks preparing the dishes. Truly an amazing find and recommend trying your next night out in Hoboken.

perfect spot to get all warmed up and satisfied especially during these cold winter days! we started off with their takoyakis and cucumber salad and they definitely worked up our appetites! i thoroughly enjoyed the cucumber salad-perfect dressing and very good crunch! All the ramens we ordered had delicious broth, chewy noodles and savory meat! Portions were perfect too. I appreciate the space and that we were comfy enough to bring our baby's stroller in without feeling so tight. Service was timely and efficient too! overall a very good experience!

One good ramen place in Hoboken! Have been here multiple times. Went for my usual vegetarian creamy ramen- loved the texture of broth. Less salt but overall good. The veggie tempura buns were out of the world . Loved the sauce and the crunchy spring onion topping on the tempura. My husband ordered the spicy tonkotsu. It wasn't hot enough and had a bland taste. However, he enjoyed his karage buns! We ordered a lychee sparkling drink- yummy loved it! They are a byob place and their service has always been impeccable. Will definitely go here again just for my veggie ramen.

Pretty bad broth. The ambiance and service were great, the food was just not good. I got the Muteki Ramen and it was really bad. Noodles were good, but that was some very unbalanced broth. Out of respect, I try to finish what I order, but this was one really bad bowl. The garnishes were good too, but bad broth = bad ramen. It's my first time leaving a ramen place without finishing from flavor alone.

Cozy little spot on Washington. It was a freezing cold day and a hot steamy bowl of delicious ramen was just what we needed to nourish our body and mind. There are many restaurants and Asian dining selections in town, but this place got exceptional ratings for their ramen. It did not disappoint in the quality and creativity with their selections. Service was prompt and friendly.

I really like this place. I went here yesterday and I like the aesthetic. They have great customer service and food.

4.5* Wanted ramen on a cold night and this was one of the options! Partner and I walked in and there were only 2 groups. As the night went on it definitely got more crowded and there's not too much seating so I think there ended up being a bit of a wait. Started out with ordering the chicken karage which was alright! Not the best thing ever, but tasted decent. Then I ordered the kimchi ramen which was AMAZING. Super rich broth & the pork was super good. Noodles were a bit thinner than I'm used to but still tasted good. Great and hearty and so yummy. Loved their ramen! Definitely would be back to try more of their menu. Definitely a great spot to check out!

Always very quick with their service Food is always tasty Tempura buns were a lot better this go around. Shio koji chicken (not pictured) was a couple pieces of chicken breast smothered in sauce. While they were very tender, I am not sure I would order again. Thai green curry ramen was delightful and would definitely order again.

.Came in town from LA and love ramen so of course I had to find ramen while on vacation. Cute Ramen place in Hoboken with good service, kind staff and yummy food. Close walking distance to lots of shops Love the flavor of the broth and meat. I love noodles and thought the portion of noodles was perfect with option to pick thin or thick. Goyza was super delicious too. Not many people on a Monday night at the time we went but steady flow of people coming in for their to go orders! Would definitely come back if I'm in town.

Seafood Curry Rice was super satisfying: two large tempura shrimp, whole shrimp pieces, and squid, all covered in rich curry topped with crispy garlic chips. I ordered medium spicy, but honestly it barely had any heat. The Rose-to-ppoki (rosé tteokbokki) was a standout--fish cakes, rice cakes, and glass noodles coated in a creamy, spicy cheese sauce. It's rich, slightly addictive, and I seriously considered getting another order to-go. Cheese Don Katsu had that dramatic cheese pull moment. Surprisingly not greasy or overwhelming--the crispy pork cutlet balances the creamy cheese really well. We also got the fish cake soup (twice!). Light, warm, and not too salty--perfect comfort side. And the fish cake skewers soak up the broth so well. Don't skip the seaweed rice balls--mixing and shaping them yourself is oddly satisfying, and they taste great too. Everything pairs perfectly with rice--definitely come hungry. Around $25 per person, and it's even better if you come with a group so you can try a bit of everything. Bonus: there's a parking lot on the side of the building, super convenient.

I got back from Japan 3 weeks ago, and the abundant access to high level Katsu ruined me. I can only equate it to growing up on Dominos Pizza, and then you have that first real quality brick oven pizza and you're like "oh there are really levels to this..." It takes a piece of your innocence that you will never get back. Big bro put a hand on my shoulder and said, "Lil Bro, I've already walked a mile in these shoes. We are going to Katsu-Hama." Next thing I know, we are on 47th street walking into what I can only describe as a wormhole straight to a restaurant in the bustling streets of Tokyo. We ordered the Berkshire Pork Loin Curry, with an extra cutlet each because we are big dawgs. Upon first bite, hope was restored. I could breath again. Beneath delicate crackles of the crisp golden shell, the pork was impossibly tender. The curry came in over the top with a gentle sweetness and depth to tie it all together. I hate to be a prisoner of the moment, but this was just as good, if not better, than any katsu I had in Japan. I've been 3 times in the past week, and Katsu-Hama is currently my favorite restaurant in New York City. SHOUTOUT TO MY BIG BRO! IG @johnny.novo Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

There was a short wait, but from what I could see, a variety of tables here and seating. Not the biggest place, dark, intimate, wood accents and small spotlights over tables. We ordered buns and spicy edamame to start. It seemed like we had just ordered when the food came out. Love that. Buns were incredibly good - a close second to a joint in Chicago we ate at last weekend. Succulent meat, plenty of sauce, and just the usual pillowy bun. The edamame didn't seem spicy at first - then my face melted. Still good but a deep burning spiciness to them as advertised. For my entree I got the beef miso ramen, adding corn and an egg. The corn wasn't just a pile of kernels - but a side slice of a cob. Cool presentation. Beef was good and the broth soothed my soul. Top 10 ramen places I've been - well done.

We tried the spicy shrimp (coconut based broth), spicy tonkatsu, and salmon miso ramen. The tonkatsu and salmon were both cooked well - tender and moist. Ramen noodles were thin and well cooked - more al dente. We also tried the karaage which had a thick crispy batter and a sweet glaze, with an optional spicy side sauce for dipping. They had a variety of sake and beer options. The inside is small but turnaround is fairly quick. Lots of two seaters and a large table that we were able to snag after just a few minutes of waiting. There was also bar seating. Pretty dark inside to add to the ambiance for a quick date or catch up with friends. Checked in to the waitlist via Resy because we didn't have a reservation, and it was a short wait. Service was prompt.
