Lorenzo has been helping me for the past 5 months and always super nice and does his job efficiently and fast. Tom is always super friendly too. Bought our first motor home and looked on Yelp for a propane station. We have passed this business many times, but have never stopped in. It is very easy to get in and out of with a 34' RV, the price for propane was less than the place we go to with our small tanks, and the man who filled our RV tank was efficient and friendly. While I have had good service before and their business hours state 8-4:30, I arrived just before 11:30 and unloaded two large RV tanks. No one around so look around for help. He will be right there they say. 5 minutes later. You will need to wait until 12 because he is on lunch break. Seriously? Isn't this a retail business? read more

The service guys are always helpful and knowledgeable and I'm small potatoes for them since I'm just filling my 5 gallon tanks for grilling... I'm tired of paying $20 for 1 tank exchange at blue rhino.... I just had two tanks filled for $17.50 - even being a little customer... that never factors in to how they treat me. Mutual Propane ripped us off. There was a leak in our tank for who knows how long and then never bothered to check or ask us why we were going through gas so quickly. When we finally pointed it out, they "fixed" the leak but never offered to compensate us. When I asked them for a print out of all the times we had gotten gas from them I got the run around and never received it. When the tank was empty we switched over to World Famous Propane. We have used less than 1/2 the gas in the last year than we used with Mutual. Gee, wonder why. My advise is to keep a close eye on them if you aren't going to switch companies. read more

Just finished the outdoor living area that included a new fireplace that was to be run off propane. I had the idea of getting a larger tank so I would not have to worry about it running out as frequent as with the Big box store tanks standard size. These guys were great and very helpful. Where do I even start. First if you can get somebody to pickup the phone without choosing billing from the phone selection you're doing good. We tried for multiple weeks to get them to come out and do a re-valve job on my propane tank. At first they were oh so nice and said they could do it, I know it was around the holidays so I wasn't expecting much, but when you tell me you are going to do something, do it. Time after time it got pushed back, I know i was asking for a lot around the holidays, but man 2, 3, 4 times how many times can you push me back. Then the last straw was they called and said they were 30 minutes outs, I was like GREAT! 50 minutes later I got a call "ummm, i've been called off to the day we can't come out today" I don't even know what that means? Your boss doesn't want to pay you overtime? I don't even know, I said forget it, I'm done with you. I found Ferrellgas, they are PHENOMINAL! Picked up the phone each time every time, got out here quick, re-valved the tank, filled it up, seamless. If you want a real company go with Ferrelgas, avoid this yahoos read more

I know that it sounds like I am heaping on the compliments here but they are really that good. Over the past several weeks, I have made 3 phone calls and filled out an online form...to try to open a "new" account with Mutual Propane. I have not had any return calls. I told my pool guy about it and he said "aren't they in business to make money? Apparently not. Whoever is in charge of setting up new accounts should be fired. The customer service we received from this company was bar none. Absolutely the best we've ever been treated by a business. Long story short, our water heater failed at our rental property and drained our entire tank of propane... this happened on a Thursday evening, and unfortunately there were no trucks available to fill us up with that short of notice. The manager himself called me back and offered to have a service man come check our new water heater as well as fill our tank enough to get us through Monday. The service man Chris offered to relight our pilot lights for us as well, while here filling propane. I cannot explain how grateful I am, they both absolutely went out of their way to go above and beyond my customer service expectations. Could not recommend this company more.
