My friend I introduced me to the founder, who has concocted recipes with all organic ingredients to help her customers feel better and heal. On Mama Chi's recommendation, I ended up purchasing Mango Kvass Beet Kvass Cocofir Fermented Roots Chocolate Mousse made with butternut squash and some secret ingredients. My fave! If you want to improve your gut health, this is the place. I first experienced Muun Chi at the MDR farmers market. I was skeptical (I'm not that indoctrinated into LA yet I guess). I've always had stomach problems, have wanted to try probiotics , but didn't know where to start. My boyfriend finally convinced me to talk to Manette. She has a world of knowledge and gives an amazing consultation. I tried the chia pudding at first and it has gotten me off of antacids and my pre-ulcer is finally healing. I first discovered Manette and muun chi at the Manhattan Beach farmer's market and I loved her enthusiasm for gut health and making delicious food that is so good for you. When I heard she was opening a store, I was delighted to be able to pick up my chia puddings and orange chew barks most days instead of just Tuesday's! Manette is warm and kind - she just radiates joy and passion for her products and her customers. The food itself is so delicious too, we regularly consumed the chia pudding made with her cocofir that is full of good pre and probiotics. And my 3 year old inhales her cracker-like chews which I feel really good about giving him because there's no added sugar, just nuts and seeds and all sorts of good for his gut ingredients.
