Even though I live nearly an hour away, I still will go to them for all my auto repair needs (except oil changes, but even then if I can make it happen I'll go to Car One). There is almost no company or business I can think of that is better at customer service. If I was to right a dissertation on a PHD for "What makes a small business great" it would be about these guys. 1. They never lie to me. I trust them so much that I literally tell them "yes" to anything they say needs to be done to my car. This is due to them building up trust with me over the years to where I don't need to think about if they are trying to rip me off or not. They can see this review, so next time they see me, they COULD rip me off but I know they won't. 2. The customer service skills - they always seem to remember who I am the moment I say my name, even if I have not talked to them in over a year. Now, look at the attached picture. They literally filled out my mail-in-rebate for the tires I got from them. They even included the stamp!! They didn't have to do it, but they offered it without me asking and took care of it for me. 3. Loyalty. Read the other reviews on here. There is one guy who says he drives from Des Moines, IA because he refuses to go anywhere else. That's what it means to be loyal to a business. In Summary - there's no one better out there to work on your car. If you don't go here, it's your loss.

I pulled in the lot a half hour before they open (open at 7:30am). Even in a blizzard, there are folks lining up outside the door 10+ minutes before they open. With a handicap, you might not be able to stand in line for 20 minutes. It would be a great thing to have some number system or way to make an appointment (where that doesn't evolve into a half day thing for an oil change). 2. The parking lot is always choked full of cars. And driving in circles to find a spot isn't the easiest in this lot. Still, this is a great place in terms of value and quality of work.

Over the last four and a half years I've brought in four different cars including family members cars and all have been handled with premium care. Jeff and Jim have always been overly communicative, never do any work that they don't talk to you and get your approval first, and their team does great work. The pricing is very fair. They will even give a new car a full inspection and give you honest feedback. We had a family member buy a car from Carvana that had some issues that were covered under warranty. CD Jr dealt with the third party completely and updated us every step of the way. If you want your car worked on by honest mechanics who won't talk down to you (a complaint my wife certainly and justifiably has) and treat you with respect, go to Jeff and the gang.

They were kind enough to lend me a loaner car for the weekend, and to my surprise, I got a call Friday evening that my car was ready for a pick up! Walked inside the store and was this employee (dressed with a green sweater with a hoodie) counting money on the front desk. I explained the situation and all I wanted is a quick check to know if I could get home. In a very rude manner he replied "we are closed". I asked again if he can please do an exemption and please take a look and he replied "I already shut down the compressor... learn how to read the sign" and I replied: "the sign said you're open!" Unbelievable the mistreatment at this business by this man. When j heard rumors they were doing downhill I ignored it because I didn't have any issues with them till today. I called to get my oil change and was told to come today after 5pm for their special deal. I asked to make an appointment and was told no. I got there and they worked on it, but while waiting I asked how much will it be and the front lady who stated she is new didn't know the price depending on the oil. I thought it was weird as my last oil change was 43 dollars after I just checked. When the kid comes out to talk to me he states there is a leak and stops talking. I said yeah and? And he stated he is not a mechanic and doesn't know where it is coming from or what to do but to have me come back when their mechanic is in. I thought that was even weirder. THEN they are charging me 75 dollars for and OIL change. I asked them to pull up my previous tickets and she looked for 2 seconds and said she cannot find it. I had her call her manager and she said that's the price. I called midas and they are charging 40. They blamed the cost of oil. I literally said if I knew this was their special price id have just done it today on my day off myself. The front end girl and the non mechanic need to be trained better and should not state idk I'm not a mechanic while you are working on my car. Idk what happened but this place went to hell. And to clarify my car uses a synthetic(don't know if I spelled it correctly) blend which is the cheaper kind. We will be no longer recommending this place and going to another mechanic who is an actual mechanic.
