This company is amazing. I've used their services 2-3 times and they always have fair pricing. If the pricing is high, they tell you upfront it's not worth repairing. Egor is extremely knowledgeable and has the skill set to repair basic appliances as well as high end appliances. I've had many people show up and struggle with high end Viking, Thermador,Wolf and Sub Zero appliances but these guy knows them inside and out. He recently repaired a dryer for me and advised me to get a new dishwasher instead of repairing it. He also repaired my Thermador refrigerator a couple of years ago. I came across VP Reliable when I opened a project through Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We communicated briefly to set up an appointment for service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with them over the others because their license was verified, and they're guaranteed through Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I added a detailed description of what was going on with my machine and what steps I had already taken to remedy the situation, which I thought was a plus.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, let's get to why I'm only giving them three stars. My machine ended up needing a new drain motor. I was told the total job would be $350. $137.50 for the drain motor, and the rest was labor. $200+ for labor is insane! Especially considering it didn't take long to fix. I agreed because I didn't want to look for someone else because my machine had been broken for a week, and the laundry was piling up. I don't think they're worth the price. The second reason I'm giving them only three stars is because when it was time to pay, the technician, whose name I don't remember because I'm terrible at names, had to call the office to have me pay over the phone. In this day and age of technology, why didn't the technician have a way to take credit/debit card payments at the site? There are too many tools to help companies safely process credit cards on the go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all. It was not the best experience and not the worst.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, the price was not worth it for me. The labor being that much more than the parts is not something I'd ever experienced. Never again! Next time, I'll get a second quote before deciding on a service technician. EDIT: In response to your reply. Yes you did say the price range beforehand but in no way does it justify $200+ for one hour of work. I scheduled the appointment ignorant to the costs of the part. We've been trying to find a competent dishwasher and oven repair company for a longtime. After paying $75 last week to a different vendor, which literally did nothing but open the dishwasher and offer to replace a bunch of parts, I tried VP Reliable. WOW! I have never been as happy and satisfied with a service repair company as I am with Vadym and VP Reliable. Vadym clearly knows what he's doing and has done it many hundreds of time before. After some intricate examination and analysis, Vadym explained what was going on with my Miele dishwasher and fixed it! He also gave me advice on how take care of my dishwasher to prevent issues in the future. While he was at my home to service my dishwasher, I asked him to take a like at our Viking oven which had been having issues. Sure enough, he examined the oven, explained the issue and fixed it. Their prices are very reasonable and they truly care about the work they do. I will certainly use VP Reliable Appliance Service again. I've called Vadym in the past so I knew he'd get the job done. My 1 year old oven gave an F10 message on the screen so I looked it up and learned it was a main circuit board/computer meltdown. I called Vadym who asked me to take a pic of the model and serial numbers while he did his own research. He got back to me the same day, said he had the part and could install the next day. He was able to come early, installation took 15-20 minutes and it's back to working - with a 6 month warranty. He recommended a surge protector so this kind of thing wouldn't happen again.
