Absolutely terrible customer service. Do NOT take your car here. I have been taking my vehicles to this shop since I was in high school, dating back to when I got my very first car. I trusted them for years, which makes what happened even more unacceptable. I brought my car in for a routine oil change. After their service, the oil cap was apparently not secured properly. The result was catastrophic: the oil leaked out of my vehicle, all over the street, and my engine ultimately blew. A routine oil change turned into a completely destroyed engine. Instead of taking responsibility or even making a genuine effort to resolve the situation, they refused to cover the repair and actually tried to claim that a rock could have somehow hit the oil cap and unscrewed it enough for all of the oil to drain out of the engine. That explanation was insulting and completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was how they treated me after years of being a loyal customer. When I explained that I had been bringing my cars there since I was a teenager and that I had trusted them for years, their response was essentially that they didn't care. After years of giving this business my money and my trust, that is how they chose to treat me when something went seriously wrong after their service. Mistakes can happen. What matters is how a business handles those mistakes. This business chose to deny responsibility, offer an excuse that I found completely unbelievable, and treat a longtime customer like they were an inconvenience. I would never trust this shop with my vehicle again, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering taking their car here think twice. A routine oil change should not leave you with a destroyed engine and a business that refuses to stand behind its work. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. WOW!! This auto shop is AMAZING! Not only do the techs know what they're doing, but the owner and management are ALL incredible! I found this shop cause my grandmother actually recommended this spot! And I'm SO happy she did! She's been coming here for YEARS, her Mustang has never been taken care of better with this shop taking care of her car! So I brought my truck in since I'm also needing a mechanic/shop I can TRUST! My husband is a mechanic so I'm very picky and particular with who fixes/touches our truck, I'm just glad I feel comfortable enough to know my truck is in GOOD HANDS! Roy and Jack! Left the car over night and they had given me the price estimate on top of other things which of course was not needed, it was just a bogus, made up other repairs they wanted to cash in on me. They added again bunch of other repairs estimates which were total over $3,000.00 Minds you I have a friend who is mechanic (that week he was super busy and booked to do my car), and he said nothing else was needed beside valve gasket job. I've been coming here for a few years now. I've had them take care of some repairs on my car. Recently I purchased a battery from them. As it turns out the battery wasn't the right one. 500 CCA's versus 550 minimum per the manufacturer. When I brought my car back the owners got involved and resolved the issue immediately. When we had to suddenly find a repair shop for our vehicle after it began having issues accelerating on the freeway this past Thursday, I first looked to see what my extended service plan through MaxCare covered - after finding out that CarMax was booked out well over a week, I went to Repair Pal and inputted my zip code. My Auto Service was the first result and had open appointment times within 30 minutes. We booked an appointment and were warmly greeted by an associate when we opened the front door. He heard our concerns, took down our MaxCare info and then even dropped us off at home so we didn't have to wait at the shop while our car was diagnosed. We learned the shop is owned by his dad and he had great words about every employee there. A few hours later we got a call with the diagnosis - luckily everything that needed to be repaired was going to be covered. Our technician gave us the authorization code to establish a rental with our extended service plan. The ETA for our car to be done was possibly Saturday (today) but more likely Monday, no big deal. We got the rental squared away with no issues. This morning we were pleasantly surprised when we got the call that our car was done! I was able to pick it up and our tech was there to give me the keys and go over the repair. He also gave me an honest recommendation to get the brakes done sometime soon, but didn't push like other shops do. We will absolutely be coming back to this business to get that done in the next few months. The friendly demeanor and true customer service were what did it for us, the rest was just an added bonus. read more

I have been coming here for a while for repairs and I absolutely love the service I get here. First they are very professional and helpful over the phone and this extends to in person. They look at your car with care and will bring you the broken parts to look at, take pictures of your car where it needs to be repaired, or have you walk under your car if need be so you can see the damage or what needs to be fixed. I have never felt like they were saying "we need to do this repair just because..." What else I appreciate it, if they feel that their cost is too high for something, I asked them if they could fix my tire pressure sensor, they told me to go to a tire place because it will be cheaper. Again, proving they care more about good quality customer service vs money. I am so happy to have found them and I will continue taking my car to them because I feel like they are invested in their business to help others. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR CAR LOOKED AT. THIS PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY. EVEN FOR MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES. Went to my auto service for brake fluid change. Afterwards (the second I start my car in the shop) the BREAK LIGHT were on as well as the ESC light and not working and the BREAK FLUID LIGHT as well, and an alarm for the TRACTION SERVICE. Drove it for 2 blocks to see if it turned off and it didn't. Went back and they runned the diagnostic. Never have I ever had any of those lights on and I previously went to get my car diagnosed thoroughly 2 weeks ago and looked at by AAA for a totally different issue and none of these problems appeared. After they check everything they tell me that it needed a 500$ fix. THIS IS SO CONVENIENT! Never had a problem regarding this and the second I park my car into this shop, oooh turned out it does! Even after a very thorough diagnosis 2 weeks ago by AAA from when the only thing they recommended at that time was a break fluid change as a regular maintenance, which hadn't been done for some time hence it was due, and some rods change that could wait. This is my second time with them and went only for oil change and they recommended a fix or 700$ which my mechanic that I trust told me wasn't needed since there wasn't any leaked that they had told me there was. I figured they would ruin your car if you just go for a maintenance procedure such as brake fluid change. Guess I was too optimistic. I gave them a second shot because I don't like being too untrustworthy but lesson learned. I was trying to get the car all tuned up for selling it, now these guys just make everything more difficult. My Auto Service was to replace fuel pump. Upon picking my truck up the dashboard was removed and missing pieces, the new battery was destroyed beyond repair and other electrical issues are now present, other damage to engine components has been discovered, and the fuel pump/tank now leak where My Auto Service failed to replace the equipment properly. The shop manager began to yell and threaten removal by the police when I voiced my concerns with several issues with the condition of my vehicle. Save yourself the headache and find another shop that doesn't have these same ethical issues. read more

I needed a new battery so I went to this shop. The manager told me he had to do a diagnostic test first. He drove the vehicle around the back and I pretended to go for a walk. I watched as it sat there. No one touched the car. After 15mi he comes out front and tells me I needed a battery and a new alternator. I explained the car only has 45,000 miles on it and shouldn't need a new alternator. He told me it did and I had to pay the diagnostic fee. I knew he was lying but I paid the fee so I could get out of there. I took my car to another shop and watched as they did the diagnostic test. They told me the alternator was fine and all I needed was a battery. Do not take your car to this shop, they will upsell you and even worse try to convince to pay for repairs that are not necessary. My brakes have needed attention for a while but life happened (won't go into it here, not relevent to this review) and I was not able to get it in to have it looked at as soon as I should have. Then I got the dreaded "metal on metal" sound. New to town, I had no idea where to go. A coworker recommended this place to me as friendly, reliable and reasonably priced. So I stopped in on my way home from work. Stopping in two hours before closing, my expectation was to be setting an appointment for sometime in the next few days. Jack was friendly, listened to me, and said they would do a free brake inspection. The metal on metal I heard was a back pad that was completely gone. This can cause the caliper to over extend, allowing brake fluid to drain out. Jack told me that they would fix it today before closing. He showed me the pads and rotors. They definitely needed replacing, and that was my expectation walking in before they looked at it. Everything else in the suspension looked great. The control arm will need attention in another 30-40 thousand miles. Given the age and mileage of my car, this isn't a suprise. My car was fixed and is now handling better than it has in a while. Funny how things like that can sneek up on you. I have already told a friend about my experience with My Auto Service and he wants me to forward him their address. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Terrible mechanics taking advantage of the elderly. My mother took her vehicle here and they charged her 4+ hours of labor when the vehicle was in the shop a total of 2 1/2 hours even stated on the invoice. Also charged her for the most expensive parts that she needed replaced. Absolute crooks!! Do not go to my auto service in Vegas! $1300+ for an alternator replacement battery terminal and a blend door actuator. To put freon in my air conditioner. Also fixed the leak in my AC. 6 DAYS LATER AC BLOWING WARM. ANOTHER mechanic for $50 fixed it. You're so bad they offered me a free oil change. My family and I have brought our vehicles here for many years and am regretfully having to write this review. They claim to offer a military discount which I was told by one of their mechanics that It is worked into the price so they don't have to pay extra taxes in It and looking back through my invoices there haven't been any mention of a military discount until my last service receipt. After the last few months and thousands of dollars of them working on my van the most recent time was very disturbing I was quoted $1,300 for a tune up and 2 fuel injectors after I asked why It was that expensive I was given a discount down to $1,100 and then me asking why I didn't see my military discount on the invoice I received another $50 off which was nice but less then a week later the same engine codes came on so I called Roy and told him what was going on he told me to bring It down on Saturday so I was there at 8:00am and their technician Robert ran the diagnostic test on the van and It came back with 2 of the same codes which he then told me were just CAT CODES. So I started to ask questions which he didn't like and I felt as if I was getting taken advantage of Robert then tells me "don't worry about the codes when the time comes to get your van smogged we can just erase the codes drive It for a few miles and then CHEAT THE SYSTEM" It may just be me but I'm an honest person and am not looking to cheat anyone or anything. Robert then tells me here are your keys and I WILL NOT work on your van anymore. So then I asked Jack (the owners son) to please have his father call me which never happened so I went to there second location (same name but owned by his other son so not affiliated) and I spoke with his daughter about the situation that was going on she said that was totally unacceptable also told me we would never and should never use any kind of terminology about CHEATING ANYTHING. so she called her father and I finally got Jim to call me back. He called the other location to see what was going on then called me, he wasn't very friendly at all using terms that a mechanic would know so obviously It was like a foreign language to me not being a mechanic. He told me on Friday to take It to the second shop at 8:30am on Wednesday morning to get the diagnostic on my van done which I was super grateful about until I show up Wednesday and no one at that location knew why I was there so once again Jim called me and said he forgot to call his son and ask him then I said that's not very business like to him and he starts raising his voice to me asking me if I have ever forgot anything which I found to be very unprofessional. He then said bring It to them the next day at 8:30am and all this time I had to take and push clients back so he said don't worry It will not even take an hour so I said great. It is now Thursday and I got to the location at 8:20am handed my keys over and waited there 8:30am rolls around my van is still sitting right where I parked It same at 8:50am then I was thinking to myself maybe It would be really quick and as 9:30am rolled around I told them I could no longer wait and had to go to work I then tried to call Jim several times with no response It has been 4 days of me waiting and hoping he would call me to solve this issue but that isn't the case and now I am just wondering how many people have been taken advantage of this place as I just got the last invoice I will ever have from this place. $1,050 was the last amount I paid and I still have the same issues going on with my van STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE so they don't end up ripping you off as well read more

I was not familiar with the area on west Craig & was following my GPS looking for service to smog my auto. The address was in a mall with two auto shops. I saw a smog sign & was attempting to navigate in the line. An attendant came to my window & saw my coupon on the seat & stated "we do not take coupons". I stated I was interested in my advertised special! , And inquired if he knew the location. He stated he did not know. I backed up and called the auto place and was directed to the same side of the mall and the next bldg over!!!! When I informed the gentleman of their next door neighbors rude & condescending behavior they were most apologetic and offered a smog with no charge! Another shop that gives a free oil change in exchange for a 5 star review. Well My review will not be 5 starts which actually I was hoping to give them from the start. I stopped in for an oil change and a full suspension/engine diagnostic on a Saturday. The staff was friendly and performed the oil change. However, I was told that their "good mechanics" are off and will not be back until Monday. I was a bit surprised to hear this but then again, they might not want to commit to big repair jobs over the weekend due to the difficulty in getting parts, etc. In any case, I happened to be off from work on Monday and went down there nice and early to meet with the mechanics. An inspection was given and I was provided a price over $1500 which I was prepared to pay. Right after leaving, I stopped into O'Reilly and asked about the needed parts. I was able to buy all the parts from O'Reilly and that set me back $1100. The next day, I called back and spoke with Roy, one of the owners. I told him that I need a labor only price because I bought all of the parts myself. He said that he will get back to me but he never did. So the next day, Wednesday, I spoke with some co-workers and I've asked for recommendations on auto repair shops. At least 2 people told me about another place. I called the other place and asked for a rough estimate over the phone. I was promised a call back. The next morning, I received the call back and was told to bring the car down for a free inspection. I went down there after work and was told that some of the parts that My Auto Service told me to get was not needed. Fast forward to the following Tuesday, and my car has been repaired by the other shop and now is running just like new. I was prepared to have My Auto Service perform the work but when someone doesn't call me back, that's a deal-breaker. Additionally, I'm not sure why they told me that I needed some parts for the front end when it was clear that I didn't. You're best bet is to get a second opinion from someone else if you take your car here. read more
