ANN RD 89149 Feb '26 I was pressured to pay out of pocket $1488 for transmission & motor mount repairs after being lied too that Endurance Warranty would not cover the work because this was considered "Normal Wear & Tear" by Joe K. I contacted Endurance & was told they would cover the motor mounts; Endurance approved the claim & AA Auto Care 800 was paid immediately $685. When I picked up my car & requested the $685 be paid back to me. Joe K refused & fraudulently wanted me to apply the credit to my mother's car. My mother did not want to do business w/ AA Auto 800 after the stress, lies, & BS Joe K had put me through. I disputed the charge w/ my bank & after 6 weeks I was credited & won the dispute. I had contacted an attorney, was going to send a certified letter & take Joe K/AA Auto 800 to Small Claims Court. However, I am going to report this incident next to Nevada Consumer Affairs & the BBB, to report the billing practices, as the shop retained payment from both me & the warranty company for the same repair & declined to correct the issue when given the opportunity. read more

If you just need a smog check, this is not the place for you. This spot is in my neighborhood and has signs out for a $9.99 smog check, so I went by to get mine done. They said the wait was several hours long? But they didn't have a designated area to pull into or anything. Basically, it's a garage that primarily does repairs and also offers smogs as an add on convenience. As a result, this is not their priority and they straight up said people drop their cars off for the service - which is wild that the inconvenience of having to be dropped off and picked up and not having your car for an entire day is somehow worth saving $10? So plan ahead or go elsewhere. Thankfully staff are forthcoming about the info and they actually answer the phone here, unlike some other garages. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Honda confirmed the issue wasn't what they claimed it was - it was the head gasket. Honda advised they must not know much about the type of car I have (2.0 T) and that's why they misdiagnosed it. They also told me that not only did the catalytic converter they put on my car was a horrible quality (and the one I had was better, but it also doesn't even fit my car correctly) but in the process of them replacing this they messed up my turbo by not putting it back on correctly and messing up a piece that goes onto the turbo after replacing the converter and now that needs to be replaced which will cost thousands. They also ruined some hoses as well. Attached are photos showing how horrible the converter looks and the piece they messed up with my turbo. First came to this place in March 2025 for a smog because it was recommended by a family member. They had good service so I decided this would be the shop I get my repairs done at. Started having issues with my car in June 2025 - car started jerking and having a hard time accelerating. Took the car in and they advised it was the transmission. Luckily my warranty covered it so I was able to get it fixed. About a month or so later I started having issues with the car again. Come to find out it was the spark plugs they did as an additional no charge service, so they fixed it and I was on my way. Started having issues with the car again and then when I bring it back 3 months later in Sep 2025 they tell me it's the fuel injectors causing the car to jerk because it was clogged, so they put in a cleaner to help it and I left. 2 days later I started having issues again with the car (now the check engine light would come on) so I brought the car back and now they tell me it's the catalytic converter. Unfortunately my warranty did not cover this, so I had to pay out of pocket for it. I picked the car up on 10/14/2025 and it had been fine until 12/2/2025 when it started jerking and the check engine light came on again. I then brought my car back on 12/4/2025 and spoke to Joe who told me I need to leave the car. Mind you, being that I'm having issues with the car again so soon after work was done by them, you'd think they'd make it a priority to look at, but no they didn't. No worries though, I decided to come back on 12/5/2025. Showed up to the shop before 8 and waited in line to be helped. Get to the counter and say I need to have my car looked at that keeps jerking and this older bald man with a beard said "there could be a lot of things causing it to jerk" which was a completely unnecessary and unprofessional comment, but I just said ok. Then I go to hand him the keys and I said I would wait for my car he got the nastiest attitude saying it was an all day thing (even so why can't I want for my car?????) I then got defensive because he refused to allow me to wait for my car which made no sense because I didn't know a customer can't wait for THEIR vehicle. He then asked me to leave after I questioned him about me staying and when I asked for the owner - he refused to give me their name (which makes me feel like he is the owner). It's just really suspicious how they want to continue keeping my car to say it needs all this work and how I'm having all these issues back to back in a 6 month period. This makes me feel like this business is doing some unethical things - I also want to point out how I got my car back in October and there was a frozen yogurt spoon/lid in my car as well as liquids that spilled on my front passenger leather seat. I didn't say anything at the time cause I just wanted to leave with my car, but now this is making me really doubt this place as a business because of the owners behavior and how they eat/drink in their customers cars. I now believe other reviews saying how they treat women here and how someone said the dealership told them they never did the work they paid for. In total this place has made $12,441 out of me but refused to service me because I wanted to wait for my car. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. They do not deserve a dime of your money. read more

I called this morning to verify the price of a coupon and see if I needed an appointment for an oil change. The man that answered the phone was extremely rude with me and told me that that coupon was not honored for my type of vehicle. His attitude was ABSOLUTELY atrocious. I said, "fine, I will take my business elsewhere" and he said, "good". I called another location who told me that they absolutely honor that coupon for my type of vehicle. Already this is interesting. A couple hours later, I called back because I wanted to speak to a manager and voice my complaint. The man who answered the phone when I asked for a manager said, "what can I do for you". I asked, "are you the manager"? "I just told you I was the manager",was the response and in a harsh tone. I then expressed that they were very rude, and they told me good riddance. In NO way, should a woman or ANY customer be spoken to in such fashion, especially by someone who is supposedly the manager. They threw parts at the car like darts at a board, hoping something would stick--and when it didn't, they vanished behind excuses. I asked what parts they actually used. You'd think I was asking for state secrets. No receipts. No documentation. No transparency. Just a whole lot of attitude and deflection. Let me be clear: This isn't incompetence. This is intentional, calculated dishonesty. It's mechanical fraud dressed up as customer service. Was referred here by a family member. Within a year our transmission was bad used parts and was told that they only offer 3 month warranty. After thousands of dollars out of pocket and the amount of time they had the car. I expected it to last longer than that. I would definitely look into warranties and make sure the parts you are getting are good quality. I live across town and only came here by referral. At least an hour drive away from my house. He confirmed it had been a year when I asked for him to email me the receipt so I could provide the new auto shop he told me he had a waiting room full of people. Then got off the phone with me. Avoid this auto repair shop at all costs or risk being ripped off. They charged me for work that was never performed. I'm on Social Security so each dollar I spend has to be planned and being overcharged more than $500 is despicable. I have never given a bad review, since I try to be a positive person, seeing only the good in places I try...BUT this is going to be the first! This place has the rudest customer service people, and/or management, I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I'm 65 so that says something. I'm still very upset from my visit to them yesterday morning. My husband even said I handled it very well, he would have had a different approach. I heard from a local person, in the business, that he knew the old owner and that things have gone downhill at this location since. He said the old owner would have never put up with rudeness to his customers. I have already told many of my friends about my experience, and though AA say how busy and such a popular location they are, maybe this review will make people think twice about going there. I was hoping to have a good experience and find a good place to build a relationship and trust my car repairs too (new to the area), along with giving a good review too, but NO way...this world has way too much rudeness going in it. I grew up in a time where you were polite and smiled at your customers and welcomed new ones. **WARNING** Do not bring your vehicle here for a transmission rebuild. They will screw you so bad that they will charge you for half a** work that you can most likely figure out on your own and figure out way sooner. It took them 2 months to do a "transmission rebuild" but yet, still did not get the job done and I am still having transmission issues today. I had to take my vehicle in 3 times (thank the lord for warranty) within 2 months. As soon as I got it back I was having transmission cooler line issues, transmission leaks the size of the Pacific Ocean, transmission jerking issues, transmission overheating, etc.... My point is, save yourself $4,600 and take it into somewhere reliable and that is familiar with this kind of work and worth your money. Again, I brought my vehicle in 3 times and my tranny is still having issues. Overall, great guys in the office, but are super clueless and lack knowledge in this line of work. This AA auto is not nice. I called about oil change with coupon and the guy who answered the phone said he would not use 5/30 oil anf only 5/20. I told him currently my car uses 5/30 and ALWAYS used 5/30. He said no and it would cost me 39.99 instead of 9.99. My car is 2000 honda accord. What a jerk as he just wanted to make more money instead of honoring the coupon for 9.99. Also, I was adding a AC Evac and recharge do he would have made money on that. This is only for smog and not other services. This was my 3rd year. Ann and 95. The past 2 years smog passed and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I understand for some the wait could be much longer. My Tahoe has 303,000 miles on it... Yup you heard right. Never a major problem. KEEP YOUR OIL CHANGED PEOPLE! The mechanic did note on the invoice a suggested 30/60/90,000 mile full service. The manager politely asked me "Who does your maintenance?" I replied ME. That was the end of that and that was it. Usually these places try hard to upsell you and even lie about things that do not exist. As they say mileage may vary. Your experience may be different but for me this time I was in and out in 15 minutes, smoged, passed and for $9.99. They have coupons in their weekly mail flyers but you can probably just say... "opps I forgot my $9.99 coupon. Do I need to get it?" Chances are they will say no problem. There is no need to pay $20 or a quote from one of $35 for a smog when Ten bucks will do it. Usually, I just go there for routine maintenance... this time, they did a lot of work, replaced power steering pump, rack, and pinion. Replaced front axle, engine oil, and filter. Replaced brake pads and rotors. Completed front-end alignment. It was a lot of work, but they completed it all in one full day. read more
