My sister wanted a custom cake and matching cupcakes for her 50th birthday, and Yana delivered! The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious, perfect for the celebration.

Loved working with Yana to make custom cupcakes and cake pops for my baby shower. Super quick in responding, made awesome designs, and everything was so delicious!

A better view of the cookies in their original packaging!

10 stars if it were possible! Highly recommended! Make sure to order a few weeks in advance so that you can order your cookies to your likings! We wanted to surprise our closest friends with cookies announcing our pregnancy and we're looking for a local custom cookie maker. George from My Baking Creations was prompt with his response and even provided picture samples of what we had in mind! (One of the other places never responded and the other doesn't currently take custom orders!) After requesting specific colors, getting a quote and feeling like an important customer we had no choice but to order 11 - 2 sets of cookies! George even went out of his way in providing a link for Amazon cookie boxes so that we could package ourselves at a lower cost! We were offered several flavors but went with the most popular, vanilla - all our friends said they were delicious! Thank you George and your team! We will definitely come back for future orders (probably try the orange vanilla this time) and recommend you to others! Cost: Calendar design, $5.75 each Onesies, $6.25 *50% deposit required once ordered!

Super girl themed vanilla strawberry cake!!

I am so blown away by how beautiful my daughters cake was, how delicious it was with the vanilla strawberry buttercream, and how much attention to detail went into this. The process of ordering, figuring out the size, delivery, and design updates back and forth were so easy. I know finding a place for cakes last minute can be difficult when parents are juggling. I ordered this a week before our event and could not be happier.

I would eat the cream by itself if they sold it that way. Good thing I don't live nearby. I saw one review say that some of their chocolate flavor or cookie flavors weren't as good, which I understand. I had a cookie cake and didn't taste the smooth, buttery taste I was looking for. I highly recommend cakes that let their vanilla frosting shine without mixing too many flavors. Very modern industrial, no seats, pickup only. Everyone was very nice as I pretended to fit in as someone who could splurge on $50 (4-6 little servings) worth of cake. I only got a taste of this cake from a friend of a friend's birthday cake leftovers. The chocolate dulce de leche one I initially tried was divine, but not available when I went in the afternoon a week later, so I settled on the lemon one, not bad. The buttercream was the best i've EVER had, and that's a big statement. These cakes are definitely designed for someone of a different income bracket than me, but if you want to treat yourself to a LUXURY slice of cake, ride your squeaky bike or cybertruck over to the Dogpatch (still a trip how upscale it's become the last 20 years) and feel like you're Marie Antoinette without a care in the world!

My first visit was a to-go order of the Original Croissant, Pain Suisse, and Flan, and I loved everything so much that I came back again a month later when I was in the area. Their pastries are seriously exceptional, and I can totally see why they won the award. Personally though, I actually love the Pain Suisse even more! The dough was flaky, buttery, a right balance between crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside with each bite. And the Flan Vanille is on another level. I've tried so many different flans and even know how to make a pretty good one myself, but this is the kind of flan I would bring to a party if I wanted to impress everyone. The bakery itself is beautiful, and I love that you can watch the bakers working through the glass window. Their pastry display is also dangerous because everything looks so good, with tons of sweet and savory options. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. I also tried their holiday berry croissant on my second visit. They definitely did NOT skimp on the filling lol. It was actually a little too much filling-to-croissant ratio for me, but I appreciate the generosity! Strawberry Cookie were soft and fresh Prices are pretty average for artisan pastries, and the quality and size is definitely worth it. Such a great bakery in Danville and I'll absolutely be back.

Pain Suisse $6.50 a chocolate crioissant that has lingering pieces of crisp chocolate that oozed out while baking. The croissant had flaky layers that was very well crafted. Mango Passionfruit Sorbet $12 had both a good balance of mango & Passionfruit purée but it was a little sweet due to the 2 fruits added, but it certainly was a nice way to cool off in 90 degree weather. It's been a little over a year since my first time trying B&C, and things have definitely changed…read moresince then--in a good way! I definitely feel like the team implementing the 7:45AM start time to line up has helped a lot. Not only is it better for the neighbors, but it also makes the whole experience feel a lot less chaotic compared to showing up super early and scrambling to get in line. Everything feels much calmer and organized now. As for the pastries: To be honest, it really depends on what you like. I'm one that gravitates towards pretty much anything with meat and chocolate. Because of that, most of their savory/meaty and creamy pastries are always a must for me. They're super flaky, flavorful and decadent. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making everything as high quality as possible, especially since you can see them making everything from the window while waiting in line. All in all, I think there's been a lot of improvement over the past year with some trial and error. Their pastries have always been delicious and I personally think it's worth the wait. I recommend getting to the area closer to 7:45AM so you have a better chance of being towards the front of the line. If not, it's still better to come before opening, I just wouldn't recommend getting there right before they open. By then it's not guaranteed that you'll get everything you want since they do run out depending on how many people are there.

Their Hotplate drop every Tuesday at 12PM is literally a war zone, reminding me of trying to get VIP concert tickets on Ticketmaster. And sadly, I haven't been able to score another box since then but oh well, at least I won once lol. I came during my pickup window and there was already a line out the door, maybe 10-12 people. I've heard it can wrap around the block, so honestly this wasn't too bad. The bakery itself in this adorable white and pink building, with cute window details, and neon cake sign. Pre-orders can skip the line, so I went straight inside to collect my little box of victory. My small box came with four pastries: Twice Baked Bourbon Peaches & Cream, Cheesy Ratatouille, Mocha Graham Butterscotch Cruffin, and Strawberry Vanilla Bun. And I gotta be honest, I loved them ALL. The Bourbon Peaches & Cream was heavenly. The pastry was perfectly buttery and flaky, while the cream and filling were rich and smooth. Easily one of my favorites. I'm normally not a cheesy vegetable savory pastry person, but I had to try the Cheesy Ratatouille for the plot lol, and surprisingly it was delicious. The veggies were cooked just right and the combination of cheeses was phenomenal. Strawberry Vanilla Bun was a classic that couldn't go wrong, fresh strawberries, delicious cream, simple and so good. Sadly, I saved the Mocha Graham Butterscotch Cruffin for the next day and all that generous filling made it pretty soggy. It still tasted good, but the cruffin had lost that crispy, flaky texture. That's on me though, so I definitely need a redemption round in the future. Overall, Butter & Crumble is absolutely worth the hype AND the Tuesday 12PM battle. Hopefully one day I can win the war again because there are so many other pastries I still want to try!

The bakery is very small but cozy, with limited seating inside. They offer a nice selection of pastries, including scones, muffins, puffs, cookies, and cakes. The drink was refreshing and exceeded my expectations as well. I also noticed many customers stopping by to pick up cakes, which says a lot about their popularity. I'll definitely be coming back and look forward to trying something new next time -- perhaps even picking up a cake for an upcoming birthday celebration. Ambrosia Bakery may be small, but it's cozy, welcoming, and offers fair and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I'm happy to give this bakery a five-star rating!

One of them was even the worst cookie I've ever tasted in my life. The other cookies were: Mexican wedding cookie: extremely dry barely any flavor, I make way better ones at home Shortbread cookie with raspberry jam filling: the jam was the only flavor in it. Cookie half dipped in chocolate: this is the one that is the most disgusting cookie I've ever tasted in my life. It was like eating powder and zero flavor. I mean seriously, this was just disgusting I can't believe they're selling this. I also had the beehive. I was told it's popular. It's really just okay. I make better mousse at home, and the chocolate surrounding it does not taste high quality at all. It has a really distinctive flavor that I can't put my finger on. That fake flavor you taste when something is not high quality. Really disappointed to have wasted $30. We live far away and fix this up on a drive home so I can't just go back and ask for a refund or anything. What a waste. The cashiers were extremely friendly. They made a mistake but fixed it right away and were super sweet about it. I would really like to see this place improve its products.
