From the moment we walked in, I was amazed at the decor. The atmosphere took me back to a young boy entering his grandmother's house after the long trek there. I was greeted by the staff with hugs and kisses, just like grandma... They handed me a menu and told me I can have whatever I want (just like grandma). So, i ordered some eggs and bacon. Grandma would be ashamed at the caliber of brunch that was offered at this establishment. I could tell the cooking oil they use has not been changed, as it tasted stale and gave an asian sesame oil flavor. What a shame. I thought to myself, well at least I can enjoy the delicious looking slab of bacon. Nope. Didnt even get to enjoy that. It was deep fried and hallow. Like my soul after trying it. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week.
