I have seen this truck around town in multiple places now and didn't realize it was based in Frisco until coming to write this review. One time were at a private event and so the cupcakes were free. They came in plastic containers and were good on the day of and the day after. all that to say they kept very well. We've also the seen the truck all over Dallas at fairs and festivals. The cupcakes themselves were great. My favorite was the chocolate cream ones. The frosting was not too sweet and the presentation was great. The service was very friendly and I hope to continue to bump into this truck. read more

I tried My Cupcake Garden for the first time as a treat during the holidays and I was delighted with both the service and the product! From ordering to delivery, they were easy and communicative every step of the way. I ordered full size and mini cupcakes and both were amazing. The carrot cupcakes were soft with just the right amount of raisins and nuts and the mini banana cream cupcakes were heavenly. The banana flavor was not overpowering but was clearly the star flavor. Not a fan of the cupcakes from My Cupcake Garden. The frosting on the cookies and cream cupcake was just sickly sweet...the ratio between butter (more likely shortening, given the flavor) and sugar was way off. Obviously the recipe makes for nice stiff frosting patterns which are lovely but I never am willing to sacrifice taste for visual appeal. The cake itself was fine..not too dry, but it was a bit overcooked and the cupcake liners are overfilled. When a cupcake has a muffin top, that doesn't mean "wow awesome I got a bigger cupcake!" it means they're using liners that are too small or they are overfilling the liners. The end result is a slightly overcooked edge that extends over the paper. Cookies and cream should be a chocolate cupcake with an oreo frosting, in my opinion, theirs is a yellow cake with a little bit of oreo cookie mixed in the batter. read more

My Cupcake Garden came to my wife's 40th birthday party this past weekend and really stole the show. It was my first time to every use a food truck and it was kind of a last minute decision to pull the trigger on it because i didn't want to put money out on something i hadn't tried before and end up being disappointed, but i have to say, Pamela the owner was super helpful and patient as i got up to speed on how it all works, and it didn't hurt to see that they had won the award for best dessert in the recent Texas food truck competition. The cupcakes were great - really top notch. The flavor that they won the contest with, strawberry on strawberry, was ridiculously good. So was the cookies and cream, and there is one with caramel frosting on it that seems like it is pretty much 100% genuine salted caramel on top. Completely satisfied with the cupcakes - delicious! Best though, was that Pamela and her partner (sorry can't remember his name) were super friendly and thoughtful. When i told my wife there was something out front and everybody was following her out of the house, the truck was parked out front and there was a big screen on the side of the truck that read Happy Birthday with her name on it - they also had a candle to light and put on her cupcake while we all sang to her. It was just really cool, and the little touches like that made it really memorable. I honestly didn't even remember mentioning my wifes name, but Pamela had noted it and made the display - very nice. My wife loved it, our guests loved it, and I've had numerous comments on how great the truck, the people, and the cupcakes were, so thanks Pamela and My Cupcake Garden for helping make the party a huge success! read more

We hired the truck to come to our HOA mtg in the neighborhood park, the cupcakes are delish, and the service was great!!!

We are well traveled and we have had some gourmet cupcakes, but these cupcakes top them all, especially the vanilla and lemon blueberry! The ingredients are fresh and handmade and you get personalized, individualized attention from the owners! We cannot wait to find the truck in Downtown Dallas, but they also deliver!!! read more

YUM!!! My Cupcake Garden delivered to my office today and I am very impressed with all the different flavors they can do. The strawberry cupcake is the best I have ever tasted!! The frosting appears and tastes like it is made with fresh strawberries (you can see the little specs). Glad I was introduced to these cupcakes. I will totally order from them in the future and recommend to others. read more
