. I was very disappointed with the service I received from this plumbing company. They were supposed to replace my old pipes with new ones, but they did not finish the job on time. They kept postponing the date and making excuses. They also overcharged me for the materials and labor. The new pipes they installed were faulty and caused more problems than the old ones. They did not respond to my requests for repairs or refunds. They wasted my time and money. They need to improve their communication and quality of work. If you try to seek any type of refund, the company personnel as well as owner will quickly become confrontational, threaten you, etc. Their motto is to rip off people. read more

My Dad's Plumbing was subcontracted by Home Depot to do some work in my kitchen. When They arrived. I asked if they could do some additional work including replacing a saddle valve for an icemaker line. The existing saddle valve was on a copper line that extended at least 6" out of the slab and was not leaking. They quoted me a price that I agreed to. The plumber struggled with the work and could not get new fitting to not leak. He messed with it so much that he damaged the copper line just above the slab. He had to cut a larger hole in the wall and ended up putting in a new saddle valve. The whole idea was to not have a saddle valve but the choice I was offered was to basically live with it or have no water in my house. I contacted the plumbing company manager as asked for my money to be refunded on that part of the project because they had not provided the work that I had wanted done. He was confrontational and his only resolution was to offer to charge me additional money to do the work they should have done in the first place. The plumber and his assistant were nice enough but I was very unhappy with the work and the way the manager dealt with me. Stay away from this company. read more

I was ethical disappointed with My dad's Plumbing. They reported that my property drain system needed a partial replacement to my home warranty.. My home warranty approved repairs. I only had to pay Excavation fee of 500 dollars, which my dad's plumbing drop to 300 dollars. My Dad's plumbing show up to my home approximately 9:00 a.m. by 11:00 a.m. they were done.. I woke (I work from 6 pm to 6 am) so decided to walk my dog, when I returned home , Clyde tells me that he has good news that they only had to replace a couple of extension of drain pipe and that no excavation was needed. And that the warranty company is not paying them enough for all the work. I was really tried since I worked a 12 hour shift and only had about 5 hours of sleep. I rather that Clyde just completed all of the work that the warranty company was paying him but hearing him complain about the amount of money and that everything was okay. I assume that Clyde would only receive parcel payment but to my surprise they billed for the total amount. I called my Dad's plumbing to discuss what happened they didn't want to hear it. read more

If I could award NO STARS I would Ordered "Professional Installation" thru my local big box HW store, who utilized handy.com as a middleman to connect this company to install a toilet. Had the date rescheduled once, and the time rescheduled twice. It took multiple calls to finally reach a person to get information and a firmer time. Receptionist informed me she Texted the number I provided the day before the scheduled install, of which I didn't receive because the # is my landline phone. The receptionist then told be she also left a voicemail on the very same number, this was a LIE as the time she asserted was at a time we were actually home, and there was no voicemail either. Caller ID log and my voice telephony service Call Log showed that there was no call whatsoever. I didn't appreciate being lied to, and told the receptionist as such...and I have receipts Her response was to act like a petty snowflake and get all snotty and subsequently CANCELLED the order! I guess they get enough business bringing in enough money that my job didn't matter, or they don't care enough about customers to hire someone who doesn't do their job properly and has to lie about it. 1) handy.com needs to better vet who they subcontract to 2) My Dads Plumbing needs an *honest* and professional responsible person to front them on the telephone...if the lady just told me she's insanely busy and calling me slipped thru the cracks, I would have accepted that statement. He even went with my husband to Lowe's to get all new pipes and valves to update the old ones so we knew exactly what we needed to get (we are clueless there). Wow! I never thought getting a plumber was so easy. There was so much communication (emails and texts) about the technician that was going to arrive, when he was on his way. They were friendly and masked, communicating issues they found. After I received an work order report of everything that they did and including pictures. I got a separate email with my receipt for the added charge. Had them replace my garbage disposal and they needed to do a drain modification. So glad that Lowe's sent them to me. I had this company install a toilet ( bought and contracted through Lowe's in Concord, CA. ) Upon entering my house, the plumber tried to immediately charge me for a dump fee. I explained that this was part of the cost I had paid through Lowe's. He then stated " haul away" means he leaves it in my garage. I was able to get a rep from Lowe's to contact the company, and remind them that they were to " haul away" the old toilet, with no extra fee. The job appears to have gone fine, but I found he had left the box and packing in my front patio. I called Lowe's, again, per the contract, the plumber is to clean the work site. This company agreed to come back in 1 1/2 months to clean the site, ( they had originally agreed to the contract and came out in 2 days). I'm following up with Lowe's, and now have another plumber coming to clean the work site, due to the passive / aggressive attitude of this company. Plumber showed up, did not pull old dw, stated electrical required 3prong plug {never lookedat actual wire}, then left. It took 2 more days to get them rescheduled after I had electrician pull unit and confirm existing plug meets code. Finally, their second plumber arrived. He complained that wire\plug not to code {despite licensed electrician}. Then he installed the dw, including a new water intake hose onto. After leaving, the kitchen sink water faucet produced water at a very dlow rate. The plumber claimed they did not touch the kitchen water {a dw in kitchen requires water intake}, then they claimed problem was our house low water pressure. The problem was in connecting a new hose to an old faucet - resulting in sediment in the water lines. An experienced, reliable plumber should know that the lines ehould be flushed to clear sediment, rather than denying their connecting a water line, then claiming the house pressure was low. Deny, deny, take no responsib9lity to help their customer. I recommend NOT using this company due to poor quality work, delays, and terrible customer support. read more

His text said he would be here between 2 and 5 pm. Showed up at 2:10. He and his partner were super friendly and they offered to remove their shoes while still outside. His customized auger did trick in a matter of minutes. He also tested the toilet to ensure it was flushing well again. Can't remember the last time I was so happy to spend money on a house repair. Clyde and his assistant Mario came to my house on very short notice [ within two hours from the time I called ]. From talking with other plumbers, I believed I had a very expensive repair [or replacement ] as they all told me I had a slab leak. Clyde and Mario checked all the warm spots in my flooring, the water temperature, and then went to check my gas meter. Much to my relief, Clyde informed me that I did NOT have a slab leak. Apparently when the houses in my neighborhood were built, the copper piping was laid a bit too close to the cement, thus the warm spots. Many plumbers would have taken advantage of my ignorance of plumbing and recommended an expensive re-route or re-pipe. I highly value honesty when I am dealing with any service provider.
