This is the "Life of the Party" arrangement. Stunning!!

Happy I found this flower shop! I am not local and I searched for flower shops online near my sister in laws home in SD. So many beautiful arrangements to choose from on their website. EASY process of buying online and setting up SAME DAY delivery. I was expecting to be turned away. But I was pleasantly surprised that they offered same day delivery. I ordered the "life of the party" arrangement. And it was cost effective, I was expecting to spend at least $100, but I was well under that, including fees (taxes/delivery). Will be using in the future for more flower deliveries to my SIL. Thank you!

I live in New England and was frantically calling San Diego flower shops at around 5:30pm my time (2:30 San Diego time) hoping someone may be able to assemble and same-day deliver a bouquet to my aunt who had just unexpectedly lost her beloved dog of 16-years. After calling around a couple places at random, I finally landed on 'My Flower Shop'. I could not have asked for better service! The woman I spoke to said she would be happy to assemble and deliver a bouquet same day and send photos of the bouquet and confirmation of delivery. I truly didn't expect a follow through photo or a delivery update, but I got both. Not only did I think they did a great job with the budget I gave, but my aunt was so touched by the beautiful bouquet. It was obvious she never expected it, given how late in the day it was. I would highly recommend this florist. They do a great job, they are affordable, they deliver and they honor their word!

I am so happy I stumbled upon this place. The owner made it such a pleasant experience and I can't wait to go back and visit her. The flower selection she had was amazing and of course, she put a special arrangement together right on the spot for my daughter. I am not going to Trader Joe's anymore for flowers. Yes you pay a little more but you get quality flowers arranged special for you along with some great conversation. This is a place that I will be frequenting.

Very pretty bouquet delivered quickly. It used to be that when you ordered directly from a flower shop you avoided FTD charges. But even though this shop was minutes from the delivery site, we still paid the same delivery fees.

The owner is so lovely and she always has a wonderful, fresh selection of flowers. I've asked her for flowers for a baby shower, as well as a coworker's promotion, and she's done a wonderful job each time! She's able to build a bouquet on the spot, and is on-time/punctual with orders made in advance. She also takes time to get to know you and what/who your flowers are for. I will always head to her for any flower occasion needs!

I love the owner, Maria. She's very sweet and accommodating. I always go get my flowers there for any occasions because you tell her what you want and she can make a beautiful bouquet in a few minutes for you. Best floral shop in San Diego!!! Maria last minute made me a custom bouquet with flowers she imports from outside the United States that aren't in season here. I ordered flowers over the phone for a Celebration of Life event for a family member from My Flower Shop. I found the shop based on great Yelp reviews. I requested colors and price point and gave the clerk creative license. The flowers were delivered on time and were absolutely beautiful. She sent me a photo of the large bouquet after an on-time delivery. Later, I saw the bouquet in person and it was an exquisite and fragrant centerpiece. Located in a shopping strip next to a grocery store, this little flower shop is a gem and is run by a couple of talented asian aunties who will set you up with the exact right flowers you are looking for or for your special occasion. We were on a mission to buy some flowers as a surprise engagement gift and when we first arrived around 3pm or so on a Saturday, the store was closed. Out of convenience and a bit of desperation, we stopped in to the neighboring grocery store to buy flowers and just make do with what we had. When we exited the grocery store with our bundle of flowers, we saw that My Flower Shop was suddenly open. We popped in hoping that the florist would be gracious enough to arrange our flowers into a bouquet. Not only was the florist willing to make an exception for our outside purchased flowers, she was also warm, friendly, a bit motherly, and gave us out of towners lots of tips for the San Diego / La Jolla area. We added a few more flowers from her shop to the bouquet and she wrapped the entire arrangement beautifully with tissue paper and tied it all together with a ribbon bow. The thoughtful arrangement and addition of flowers only cost us $20. To me, that is super cheap for a professionally arranged bouquet. Definitely recommend! read more

Maria was fantastic and super helpful! The flowers and foliage were gorgeous, healthy, and in abundance! The price was really really reasonable and included the flowers, foliage, delivery, and tax. Maria delivered the flowers for a wedding on a Sunday afternoon and they lasted throughout the evening and beyond. We asked the guests to take home the vase/floral centerpieces and they were super happy to do so. I highly recommend My Flower Shop in San Diego, California!! read more

This is the best flower store in existence. Maria and her family is very kind and knowledgeable. They have by far the most exciting selection of plants. I come here once a month and always have a fun time picking a bouquet. Small but mighty! What Maria lacks in retail space and fancy displays she makes up for in quality, experience, selection, and genuine care. The arrangement we created together for an anniversary exceeded all expectations and was extremely reasonably priced. Will be back! The BEST experience. We have a very sick friend who is on his last days and I upgraded to the deluxe I believe and the recipient said it was so big and gorgeous! We appreciate this shop very much, it looked just like the photo. If I need to send flowers to the SD area again I will be using My Flower Shop again! Maria and her flower shop are gems!! I was on a tight flower budget for my wedding and Maria was more than willing to work with me. We figured out what flowers would be available during the season of my wedding and what trade offs to make so we could stay under budget. I asked for white and soft blush flowers for smallish bouquets that wouldn't overpower the photos and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't have been happier with the flowers at my wedding and recommend Maria to anyone who's looking for floral arrangements! read more

Wow. I you F***ing kidding me? That's my wedding "arch" from yesterday. Thanks for ruining my photos. This is not what I paid for. I was shown a picture of a white arch and Maria sends two guys with 2x4's to put together this crap. See photos Oh I forgot to mention that she showed up 45 mins late and brought red roses for my bouquet. My color was wine. If you're looking for flowers on a budget, go see Maria! My husband and I were looking for a wedding florist and were referred by a friend to My Flower Shop. Despite Maria's busy schedule, she made herself available on the regular to discuss our wedding day floral arrangements and we valued her opinion. She went above and beyond to purchase the arch of our dreams for our wedding day and provided all votives and candle holders at no additional cost. She set up both our ceremony and reception while following through with special requests and she helped to clean up at the end of the night. Maria made us feel like family throughout the planning process and we will definitely be back for future floral arrangements! read more

My boyfriend was running late after work & rushed over here to buy me a gorgeous bouquet of roses for my birthday. Since it was a surprise for me, I am writing this review for him because he had a pleasant visit. He stated he got there just a few minutes before closing, but Maria was kind enough to stay after closing time to help him gather the roses he chose for me & set up the bouquet. Although, I wasn't there, but for a business owner to go out of their way to help a customer & stay overtime, only shows what a great owner & florist she is. The calendar on their website at end of month is a rolling calendar vs month youre in so I made a mistake and ordered for March vs February. Fair enough, so since the flowers werent delivered that day before 1, I asked for a refund of the $10 rush fee. The manager, got sassy and was extremely rude with me and told me no. They were sticking with original order. I told her either refund me the $10 rush fee or refund me the entire order of $200 (ish). She said she would rather lose the order than refund me the rush fee. I got my refund and cancelled the entire order. Whomever this mgr is who took my call....she needs a lesson in customer appreciation and not to be sassy when people are calling. 0 stars if possible! in response to the post...i did not ask for a refund of the purchase AND free flowers. I wanted the flowers...why would i want a refund and to deliever the flowers. no one works for free! I wanted a $10 refund but the gal who called me wouldnt listen, was snappy, and short.

Tried calling for a simple small birthday arrangement to be delivered locally. Turns out the lowest amount you can spend for delivery is $50. Ridiculous!
