I was looking for something that would be good for socializing our only child and development when I came across this place. Located on the 2nd floor near el cholo and Noor. They're really great about no shows; no fees, no lost classes. Once you've gone a while all the staff members call your child by name and make the children feel welcome and say goodbye. Every week the room is rearranged and promotes new exercises and activities. Most parents hover around their child both to spot them and sometimes in a bit over protective way, hopefully the parents relax a bit as the kids get older so kids learn to work things out for themselves too. Overall pretty affordable and a relaxed environment. Can't wait until our child is old enough to participate in "camps" and parents night out. (2 years 10 mos) read more

My Gym is amazing! The teachers are so upbeat and awesome, the activities they do with the kids are an endless ball of fun, and they are clean as can be. I love everything about it. We bought a Groupon for my daughter with no intention of continuing with lessons after the 5 weeks. She's super shy and we figured it would just be a fun 5 weeks for her to play. She refused to do any of the structured activities as she dislikes being put on the spot. She had the sweetest, most amazing teacher named Ashley who was extremely patient with her. By the 4th week, she started to warm up to Miss Ashley and by the 5th week, they were inseparable! Another teacher, Miss Candy, was also so sweet and great with her that we couldn't imagine ending these classes. So we signed up! You should see my baby girl's face light up every week we tell her it's time for My Gym. She talks about Ashley and Candy all the time and it's really the cutest thing! read more

I've been taking my son to this location since he was 6 months old. He was so timid at first and thanks to the teachers, he has blossomed (now at two years old ) into a confident, fun-loving, active toddler. My son is in love with Ashley and Elliot !!! This place is amazing!!! Our family has been coming here since my now 5 year old daughter was a baby. My 3 year old son has loved it just as much as she did and it really has been a saving grace during motherhood. I have met some of my best Mom friends here and my kids have made wonderful lasting friendships. It has taught my kids to push themselves physically and try new things. It prepared them for preschool and taught them how to take turns, share, sit at circle time, etc. The teachers are all kind, ridiculously energetic and fun, and really go above and beyond to make my kids feel safe and loved. The manager Ashley is fantastic and has navigated the business through this pandemic with incredible professionalism and sensitivity. The gym is one of the cleanest kid places I've ever seen, and the staff work really hard to keep it this way. I feel very safe taking my children there during covid. I'm a teacher and I have high standards, but this place and all the staff that work there continue to impress me every day. I highly recommend it! read more

MyGym has been my children's Go-To fun place for years. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the activities/songs they plan are developmentally appropriate for each age group. I love how they are flexible with makeups, are generous with their trials, patient with your little ones, and truly believe in making each family happy! Gotta love my gym! The best experience for my little toddler! I wish knew of them when she was a wee baby. It's a spacious safe place for the kids to learn gymnastics & play among other concepts they teach such as Kid Power, where they teach the kids to learn how to be safe or how not to be bullied. It's really amazing to watch their creative minds & answer during their teaching / listening sessions. Did I say listening?! Yes my daughter is learning to enhance her listening skills as they give instruction on how to tumble, skip, leap, etc. the right way. It's a safe play area incomparable to usual playground play where kids can be rough. The kids learn to be disciplined & how to play cordially. As a parent I learn from the kids coaches myself on how to be a more Effective teacher & how to set limits. I'm so glad to experience it while my daughter isn't in school yet. read more

The My Gym at The Paseo is an amazing place for children. My daughter has been involved with the very talented, patient, loving, and fun crew of teachers for over three years now. The structure of the classes by age are immensely helpful for not only physical development but also for social development. We have met so many wonderful families that we will now have as friends for life. My daughter also really enjoys Camp Night which gives this Mom a fun evening out with friends knowing that my daughter is in a safe and loving environment. We have also had three birthday parties at My Gym. They really know how to make the birthday child feel really special. When I started My Gym, I enjoyed it. I quickly had issues with it after a few sessions.... My Gym charges a monthly fee for going to their classes, which is pulled from your card automatically. This frustrated me because I ended up paying a lot each month (I have twins, so I was paying tuition for two) even though I would have to miss class frequently due to nap schedules, sickness, appointments, etc. Even though My Gym provides makeup classes, I wasn't able to attend very many of them because the makeup classes were at different times during the day from my regularly scheduled class....which, again, conflicted with naps. The time period during which you could use your makeup classes also expired, which is a complete rip off. Moms should be able to use their makeup classes whenever they are able. I think I would have stayed in the class if there had been a different payment system. It would be a LOT better if you paid for 6-8 classes upfront and then you could use those 6-8 credits whenever you could. That makes a lot more sense for most moms that I know. Charging my card every month for missed classes just seemed like a rip off and was the reason I ended up terminating my account. One other thing....when you decide to cancel, they tell you that you have to give one month's notice AND you have to cancel in person. WHY? Other than to take more of your money, this makes no sense to me! I don't see any actual reason for this policy....it doesn't take much to cancel an account and making a mom come in person to cancel is just a way to prolong the process. Not my favorite program for kiddos in Pasadena - there are a lot of better options out there! read more

My kids have both been at My Gym of and on and recently my son started again. The teachers are kind and the classes are OK (although there is a lot of waiting ...). Until something strange occured and I needed to change my point of view on their costumer service. I was forced to do a make up because they took a break of a week and ended up in a class the computer assigned me to. Unfortunately the kids were all very young while my son was on and even a little over the age range of the class. I wasn't aware of that until we attended the new class. My son stood aside a lot and was not very challenged. I felt disappointed. I complained about that afterwards and the arguments were a little odd: When I need to do a make up (it was actually a forced make up) it is my 'fault' and the new class I pick is totally my responsability. They do not look if the other kids have a more or less equal age range so the class skills are on the right level. There was no possibility to make that up to me. Another argument was because I suggested a particular day she picked a class that one day. I should have made more clear that another day with a more appropriate class would have also worked for me. The person who talked to me gave me the impression make ups are classes that do not have the same 'value' as your normal class. It is 'only' a make up so, not important. It looked to me that I should have been aware of a lot of things and should have been much more vigilant ;-))!! But I still do not see how my possible vigilance could have been enough to know that the kids in the new class would be so young? I could not believe my ears. That is the policy, really? Because I was obviously shattered the teacher kept repeating the same phrases without even trying to understand why I was totally astonished about her point of view. After a lot of repeating, she ended up giving me an extra make up after discussing with her manager. This should have been an immediate reflex unfortunately... I cannot understand how an international organization with a reputation threats make up classes and customers like that. Today they lost 3 costumers. read more

I've been taking my 3 year old to MyGym since she was 6 months old. The trainers have become like extended family. It's obvious that they care for the kids and sincerely want to help them succeed. I've had her birthday here and have dropped her off for their parents' night out. I would definitely recommend MyGym to our friends and family! read more

Just brought my 20 month old in for a trial class. It was wonderful...the staff was super friendly and professional and they kept my daughter's attention the entire time. I will be signing up for classes. They kept changing the activities throughout the time so the kids never got bored...hard to do with toddlers. Circle time and song time as well. Very clean facility with easy parking. As a bonus, it is right next door to petco...like to bring my daughter there to look at the animals. read more

Just an FYI for parents of toddlers who still nap and go to bed by 8pm. If you buy a Groupon that gives you 4 classes and 4 practice and plays and your child sleeps during the VERY LIMITED times offered, you are just out of luck. Thankfully I was able to find a class during a time she is not sleeping, but they would not work with me to figure out how not to lose the practice and play times. I absolutely love this place! I love how interactive the teachers are with the kids and how they are genuine about it, like they truly enjoy working with children. My son has a blast every time he comes. The teachers are ALL amazing and so sweet with the kids and the manager Jammin is awesome as well. My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves the instructors here. They are all high energy people who know how to engage toddlers, keeping them interested and focused. They are also aware of what is going on with every kid in the room. They really know (and care about) each kid. Best of all, and the thing that is most important to me, is that the teachers understand how to teach the kids patience and awareness of others. I value that over any other skill there is to learn. Also, they are able do so while maintaining each kid's self esteem. I trust these people with my daughter's emotional and physical well being, and I can't think of any higher praise than that. read more

My three daughters love this place! My oldest is now 8 years old and has been coming to My Gym since she was a baby. The staff is great with all the kids, very attentive with them. They know all the kids names by heart and make everyone feel so welcome! It's been a great place for my kids to develop socially and become more independent. My LO has really grown to love this place! I like the new location... Parking is so much easier. Just walk across the bridge and you are there! My LO was a little shy for the first couple classes but quickly learned how to play with others and be around larger groups. They move around the play items every week so it always seems new to my LO. All the instructors are so kind and energetic. Some of my friends have said it is a waste of $$$ and going to the park is the same, but I've really found it worthwhile for both the physical and social activities. read more

My 3 yr old twins love My Gym! We have been members for about 4 months now. Before I knew about My Gym, I called to sign them up at Gymboree, however, I was told that if I had 2 kids then there would need to be another adult with me when I take them. One adult per kid policy, really? I don't have anyone to help me take them anywhere...luckily I found My Gym and they were glad to enroll us! This place is very clean, you can almost eat off the floor, just ask the tiny cute crawlers who are always eating toys off the floor! Every single staff member is very helpful, very nice, always cheerful with big smiles. Very welcoming place with such warm personalities! I also love that staff members engage with the kids during free play sessions instead of just standing around! My daughter and I look forward to the Pre Preschool class every Friday afternoon. Parents don't attend, they drop off their kids and can be free for 2 hours. There is plenty of parking below the building. The staff is always enthusiastic and excited to see my 3 year old. The staff are very aware of other children's allergies and ensure the snacks are safe and healthy. I feel safe leaving my daughter here. They have great rules that encourage learning and responsibility. For example: each kid gets 10 seconds alone on the trampoline and the child waiting must count to 10. That rule encourages patience, turn-taking, counting, and safety. After each class my daughter brings me home adorable artwork. This program teaches numbers, letters, telling time, colors, and following the teachers instructions. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. The parent date night is affordable compared to babysitter prices and you feel good knowing your child is socializing with other children while burning off lots of energy. read more
