Gangs of New York style doctors. I am a Texan who went to this business as a child growing up and then my doctors retired. I recently found a WOMAN who has been a dentist for over 25 years who was nice to me. She just gave me a night guard and sent me on my way. These doctors want us to pay them lots of money and they dont actually want to save your teeth. I know that because the doctors that used to work at this place named Lutrell and Gomillion told me dentists like to have you with bad teeth so they can make money. Don't trust dentist, vets and doctors always. Especially when they are mean to you and don't care about you at all. Like these men acted randomly towards me. As a mom and as a lady? I have never felt such disgusted and disdain as both of these dentist acted towards me just for being late driving in to an appointment. I was shocked the ladies working there for 20 years did not get vacations and bonuses. If the men took over that office go ask them if they got anything for Christmas the first 3 years. Instead of vacations they didn't get anything and I asked them. I asked the short doctor if he gave them anything there is a photo right there of the employees in Hawaii and my previous doctor did that. He said oh maybe we should do something- this was 3 years into their takeover. I have a great woman who has been doing teeth for as long as Gomillion and Luttrel and literally went to high school with their employees. I had my child and my mom's birthday and frankly they could have just said nice words. But only those who are nice and have nice people skills are capable of doing that. It's a gift to a few and a skill learned by many. It's odd when they are not my boss & they can't even care for their own employees openly and brag about it to me at all. Never artificially written. Written by me after getting great care from a 25 year long dentist who was professional kind and wanted their patients to morally and ethically be ok. I think a long time ago they could have literally called and said I'm sorry you felt that way but maybe their mom and dad never taught them to have any manners at all? Who knows. Do better men.     Best view of any dentist office in the state of Texas! Boerne Dental Center is worth checking out…read moreif you're in the market for a dentist. The front desk staff, Lynett (my dental hygienist), and Dr. Simpson were all top tier and made it an awesome experience.

    Calling to make an appointment was interesting. I guess they have a call center person that answers…read morefor all offices, but for some reason doesn't answer the phone after 3pm even though it says their offices close at 5pm. I've tried calling twice after 3pm and no one answers. I also got about 5 reminders of my appointment leading up to the actual visit. When I walked in, there's a clipboard that says to sign in, so I did that while the girl behind the desk sees me writing my name down. 10 minutes go by without her acknowledging that I signed the clipboard. Not to mention, another patient walks in and another front desk person says "you don't have to sign in, I'll just check you in myself". So I stand in line after them and when it was my turn, I say "I signed in on the clipboard but it doesn't seem like anyone is checking that". She asks me for my name and checks me in. I get called back shortly and Debbie sees that I'm pregnant and says "you're pregnant?" ... so I made this very clear when I called to make the appointment, as well as when I called to confirm the appointment. I also wrote in the online questionnaire about a month in advance. I'm guessing they don't read that because Debbie was surprised. She then asked me if I had medical clearance from my doctor. So I told her, "I was never told I needed anything from my doctor when I called to make my appointment and told them I was pregnant. Also when I filled out the questionnaire, no one called to tell me I needed this. It would've been nice to know since I was at my doctor's office this morning." I ended up sitting in the office for over an hour and ended up not having any work done at all. They kept me waiting until i decided I would just come back for my cleaning and filling. Then Debbie said "your doctor said it'll take up to 24 hours to get the form back". Then why am I still waiting here if you knew that? I'm wondering how long they would've kept me if I kept sitting there without saying anything. When I finally came back for my actual cleaning and made appointments for my family, they will bill EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN. They didn't even touch my one year old daughter's mouth, and even after insurance, I still had to pay almost $100 for them to just look at her for 2 mins. I understand children can be difficult, but when I got the bill and saw every little thing they billed, I will not be back.

    I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience should be shared…read more I came in for a scheduled cleaning and filling appointment and was later informed the filling would actually require a root canal. The hygienist rescheduled my cleaning so I would not have to wait an extended period after the treatment plan changed. At checkout, the front desk told me the hygienist was not allowed to make that change and that I would be charged a same-day cancellation fee. When I questioned this, I was called argumentative and was refused the opportunity to speak with a manager or someone else in the office. Another patient in the lobby overheard the conversation and made a comment that I had done nothing wrong and the girl treated her similarly. I completed the patient survey and requested a call back to discuss my concerns, but never received a response. I ultimately decided to get a second opinion, and I'm glad I did, as another issue was identified that had not been brought to my attention during my visit. The combination of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and concerns about my overall experience is extremely disappointing. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the patient experience moving forward.
