My iFix with Alfredo is amazing! The back glass on my iPhone cracked, creating splinters. I reached out to Alfredo, who was very responsive. The back glass was on order, but I needed to travel before they'd arrive. So Alfredo called me, offering recommendations for how to protect my phone during travel, and assured me that the part would be in upon my return. I followed his advice and thankfully the phone was fine during travel despite the damage. Upon my return two weeks later, when I reached out to him, he had the part and was ready to schedule the repair! I had a couple of scheduling conflicts but he graciously worked around my schedule and made sure that the repair happened promptly (it's a longer repair task, not something that can be done in an hour). Prior to doing the actual repair, he provided advice regarding phone backup to assure that nothing was lost during the repair process. I now have a shiny new back glass on my phone - no more splinters! We added a new front protector too, just in case! I highly recommend Alfredo and My iFix - he is professional, pleasant and very competent. The price was very competitive and the overall service experience is excellent! Normally I don't write Yelp reviews but the service I received earlier this week made me feel like I had to. I just got back to San Diego and for some reason my phone was totally glitching out. I requested a quote from My IFix and heard back not even an hour later (super awesome). When I got to IFix, Fredo helped me with no hassle, and gave me a brief run down about the difference between screens, what was wrong with my phone etc. I don't even want to go into detail about ALL the wrong things about the two phones I had with me, but Fredo was super diligent and made a lot of things easier. The only reason I'm giving this review a 4 star instead of 5, is because after the screen fix there seems to be one little blank circular pixel? not too sure what it is, it's not super noticeable but it does stick out on my screen here and there. However, not sure if it's about the screen replacement or the phone irself Update: I was able to take my phone in the following week and Fredo helped me super quickly and the problem was solved. I brought in my phone to be fixed for the first time and had an amazing experience. I was getting my Phone fixed to trade it in and Alfredo was so helpful. He was very informative and seemed happy to educate me. There was no line and the prices were reasonable! I only waited for 20 minutes. He also called me after to let me know once I get my new phone to bring it in so he can put the screen protector on for no charge ( he typically puts a screen protector no charge with new replacements) but since I was getting a new phone he offered to put on my new phone! My Mother's Ipad had a typical issue where the tip of the charge cable got stock in the charge port. It was in there good, I wasn't sure it could be fixed. Luckily I requested a quote from IFix, Alfredo was quick to respond even though it was a holiday weekend and late at night, but he quickly gave me a very reasonable price quote while also letting me know that if the port needed to be changed, it wouldn't be worth the price or risk to do it. I was really impressed with his honesty regarding our old Ipad, but he was still willing to take a look. I brought it over the next day, he said it would be done later in the afternoon. But a short time later, he let me know it was done and working perfectly! He also let me know of a potential issue but that it wasn't worth fixing and just to use as is. I'm glad I found IFix, Alfredo saved us a few hundred dollars in having to get a replacement Ipad, fixing our issue for a lot less than others quoted. Even though I live in the South Bay, I will be happy to make the trek over to IFix next time we have phone or tablet issues. read more

I had my laptop looked at for water damage and iPhone 8 Plus for a shattered front screen/camera. Unfortunately my laptop wasn't salvageable but he was able to retrieve my data (documents, pics and videos). The Apple Store told me that it was gonna cost $200-400 to retrieve my data through a third party since it was not fully backed up on iCloud. But Myfix was able to retrieve my data for a lot less. The new screen and replaced camera for the iPhone 8 was a reasonable price and he threw in a new glass screen protector too. I highly recommend MyFix services. I got a quote from Pricilla using the Yelp app. Her price was slightly lower than other quotes. Chose this place due to the great Yelp reviews and the convenience of Sprouts next door. Also super honest -- told noticed the previous battery had a warranty on it and checked first if I wanted to follow up on that first, and when I asked if the charging port needed cleaning, he said he checked and all was fine. My sons iPhone 7s Plus was cracked and beat up. Layers of damage. Just awful. Then it became unusable once he wet it. You would think it was done for. I tried to upgrade but was not willing to payout $400! Did my research and found out it just needed the screen switched out. I've seen the cute hut like store while shopping At Sprouts, but never needed it until now. Called for a quote and Priscilla was just as honest and straight forward about pricing, options, and time as the Yelpers said. Went in on a Saturday morning and Alfredo hooked me up! I called two places for prices and Ifix was $15 cheaper for a screen Repair. I am glad I took the risk. It only took 25 minutes and they are located in a shopping plaza with Sprouts and Tuesday Morning so was easy to shop during that quick wait time. I highly recommend this place for very reasonable prices, great/fast service, and dedication to hygiene during these COVID times. I got two cracked iPhone screens fixed, and he gave me a great deal (way better than anything I've found quoted online, unless you have an Apple warranty) along with putting on screen protectors free of charge. The repair only took 40 mins, and he's right in a commercial shopping center so it's easy to do some quick errands. He was diligent with wearing a mask, sanitized his hands between tasks, and the whole front of the shop was opened up to the outside. I have an iPhone XS and I use it a lot and admittedly am pretty tough on it. I'm a real estate broker so my phone use sometimes is constant. Also, I have a neurological condition or two, one of which causes me to be prone to drop things, including the XS. I noticed some sharp edges near the bottom so I contacted Alfredo through the Yelp app. He was able to remove the old plastic protector and put a new one on for only $15. Took him a few minutes and now I've got smooth surfaces and I'm looking forward to lots more use and abuse of my XS! We chatted a while too.
