The call service is extremely poor. They treat you with no courtesy as you're the problem of their poor customer service. The callers deter you from using their services. Also, when they're running behind or last minute cancel they don't call you to you inform and lash at the customer. It is sad because the therapist are pretty good. I will never get a massage here again. After reading positive reviews about this company online I decided to try them out. I am no stranger to massages and have had memberships with other establishments. I came in for a simple deep tissue massage and within a few hours afterward my neck was in severe pain. The pain persisted and progressively got worse over the following three days. I had headaches, could not rotate my neck and head fully, and had a continuous throbbing in my neck/cervical area. Unable to bear the pain any longer, I contacted the business via phone and a male answered. I asked to speak with a manager regarding my recent visit and was told none was available. After I told the male on the phone about my experience, he then identified himself as the manager/owner Peter (which was unprofessional and sketchy). I specifically told him: 1) I was not in pain when I arrived at his establishment; 2) after my massage my neck was in severe pain and persisted for days after the massage; 3) the massage caused my neck pain; and 4) asked if there was anything he could do to remedy the situation. The manager suggested I come in for a massage that day and set me up for an "emergency" appointment. After leaving work, I arrived at this establishment for what I thought was a credit/free massage as a goodwill gesture to fix the issue caused by this establishment. To my surprise, when I arrived I was told by the rep at the front desk I would have to pay full price for another full massage. I told the front desk rep about my experience and my conversation with the Peter. She then contacted another female "manager" who I spoke with on the phone. I again told her about the massage, my conversation with Peter, and why I was there. I asked the woman on the phone if they could at least massage the area of my neck that was in pain, offer me a credit, or in the alternative give me a refund. She adamantly refused. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My experience with My Massage Haven was unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time and money. Called the number and they said she is running behind and if I could wait 10-15 minutes. I waited 25 minutes after calling. I ended up calling the number back and cancelling. Pretty terrible experience. Made an appointment for 4pm for deep tissue. Got there early and there was confusion who would massage me. They told me it would be 4:10. One girl said she was my therapist. They showed me to a room late. She then said she had other things to do and another woman would be my therapist. I waited in the room 15 minutes. No one came in.. I went out then and asked for an english speaking therapist which they couldn't provide. The first girl then said she was sick so couldn't massage me which was odd since she just said she had other things to do. I was now starting 20 minutes late. I don't want to hate on the woman but she was literally wiping my body with oil not massaging me. I had to pull out my middle school Spanish and ask her twice to go stronger. She was digging her nails in me and massaging down my legs not up. THEN she starts texting with one hand and wiping my leg with the other. Completely unprofessional. I had a traumatic experience with the masseuse Jose. He was drinking alcohol throughout the massage (I could smell it on his breath and found wine behind the curtain when he left the room at the end) and he did not follow proper draping techniques. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, shocked and scared that this was happening which is why I did not yell at him to stop and run out of the room. He massaged my upper thigh and groin area without permission and had me undraped several times throughout the massage leaving my breasts and underwear exposed for long periods of time. There are no bathrooms here only dirty public restrooms out in the hotel. I came to Massage Haven with a Groupon and it was amazing. I am a firm believer in the power of reflexology and the masseuse here knows how what he is doing. The pressure was perfect to balance the body. Do not be fooled by the appearance or location of Massage Haven. I have been to foot massage parlors where you basically get a foot rub and this is NOT one of those places. Medium pressure = Firm here, so don't be afraid to go lighter than normal. Came here for a 1 hour massage a month ago based on the good reviews. The massage was OK, however, the next day I started experiencing lower back pain. I thought maybe it's just sore, I'll give it a week or 2. Still to this day, I have lower back pain caused by this massage. Will be going to the doctor soon to see what the deal is.
